'THIS IS WAR...It's An Attack On The Poor!' ULEZ, Bladerunners And The Battle For London's Roads

  • Concerns have been raised about government control and privacy issues surrounding the ULEZ camera system, with some going so far as to attack the cameras.
With the ongoing debate between environmental concerns and individual rights, Talk explores the hidden battle for London's roads, as some say they're not too bothered by ULEZ, while others struggle with daily payments.
This all comes as Conservative mayoral candidate Susan Hall told mayor of London Sadiq Khan that “nobody believes you any more” as they exchanged political blows during a radio debate. The mayor responded to the claims by saying he was “not in the pocket” of his party leader.

Most taxes are taxes on the poor. If you take 20% of someone's wages when they earn £30k a year, they will massively notice it and it will affect the things they can do. If you tax a billionaire 45% they may notice it but it won't affect the things they can do. Now apply thing same thinking to all tax. People on under 100k a year shouldn't be taxed on anything. They will still work but they will be able to live a good life. Tax should come from the rich and it should be a scale. Billionaires should pay so much more than millionaires. They would all still live a very good life and in most cases won't even need to work.

Pity TfL couldn't bring themselves to support a UK business and buy the cameras locally. The fact that so many of these cameras have been destroyed, and the amount of public outrage against them, but TfL are still pressing on shows how much contempt they have for the people of London.

I can only believe that those questioned who say they are not bothered by ulez, do not own a car. Ulez, congestion charge & CPZ's are are all about fleecing motorists to refill TFL & councils coffers due to financial mismanagement, while LTN's road closures to cars have caused increased congestion to surrounding areas as well as the inconvenience. Then there's all the neglected potholes. Drivers really are getting shafted.

They cant see beyond their noses, they think this is a about emissions and honestly believe if they get an ev then they will be able to continue driving!!! Oh dear, what a shock coming when they realise no driving, no escaping your zone, no choice, no wealth as no one will be able to earn so this middle class lifestyle will all be gone and they will be no better off than the working class but have a heck of a lot more to lose so wont cope in a much angrier world and its not going to look good if they are viewed as the ones who thought this was nothing to worry about so sat back and let it happen.
