    He expects to have a reality show for some reason and doesn’t want to work for anything.
    It’s not that big of deal to be a virgin, he makes it something and weird and it isn’t, it’s his actions.

    Bartenders don’t usually give advice. I was a bartender for 8 years, and I would just sit there and listen to people. A lot of times people just need a friendly face to hear their story. I listen to them rant about their significant other, their job, and even their kids. I didn’t wanna give the wrong advice and upset anyone, so I usually just said “I’m sorry that happened to you“, and I would just be there with them in that space.

      Thank you. It's not being shallow if you don't want to date someone who's chubby or something. Because honestly why would you want to date someone who's unhealthy? Because being fat is unhealthy and people don't want to hear that, nor admit it.
      Human existence has always proven a fit body is always preferred. Why do men workout so much if women don't like muscular men? As for women, they've been wearing corsets and trying other things to alter their figures to make them more appealing. Once again why would they do that if men down unhealthy looking women attractive. Because neither gender does. We want fit bodies, not fat bodies.

I was more affraid of catching VD that I just stayed in my room and played video games for most of my teens. Around my twenties I started focusing on myself such as physical fitness and overall health. Yeah I met some women here and there but nothing ever stuck or I just didn't feel comfirtable enough with them. Up until about 4 years ago, when I was tired trying to meet someone cause it was interfering with my college classes, I dedicated myself to my studies and now I'm on my last semester before I get my degree. After that, I'm gonna do what I have to do to get out there. I'm gonna hit the gym and put on 20 to 30 pounds of muscle simply because I wanna have an athletic, ripped figure just like my dad. I'm gonna go to places in my city that I enjoy and have fun for myself. If someone comes along while I'm enjoying my life, then awesome. The only advice he should be giving is "if you've seen my dates, do the exact opposite to what I am doing". I feel like this person who requested this advice video is a troll, and Skippy is falling for it. I can't believe this is a genuine request, knowing how much he sucks on the subject.

    • @spankyjeffro5320
      @spankyjeffro5320 Pƙed rokem

      I don't think it was a request at all. I think skippy wanted to sound "wise" in relationships by faking it.

    Lol saw a woman on a dating app w/ exactly what Ken is describing at 11:50 . She was about 100 pounds overweight and it said "If you have a weight preference, I have a height preference" lol. One of these things can be controlled, the other cannot lol

    • @DwynTwo
      @DwynTwo Pƙed rokem +2

      And still both are just as shallow as each other. No one should lose weight just to be appealing to others, so it's perfectly reasonable to say what this girl on Tinder said.

      @name4311 they should lose weight so they aren't a walking heart attack waiting to happen, and a burden to society.

    • @DrVanNostrand01
      @DrVanNostrand01 Pƙed rokem +3

      @@DwynTwo I disagree. Traditional beauty standards are that for a reason. It's one thing to accept your body, it's another thing to have people like Lizzo out there encouraging morbid obesity as a lifestyle choice. Like I said before, height can't be changed, weight can.

      In general, you shouldn't insult someone for a physical trait that can't be changed in 30 minutes or less.

      @@DrVanNostrand01 I am overweight. I work out 3-4 days a week, and I guarantee, I probably work out more than a lot of the "thinner" women on the dating apps. I'm older. The pounds don't really come off. I work hard to maintain where I am. But, I am sure a lot of people look at me and think I'm just a sedentary loser who is making a lifestyle choice to be where I am.
      You can't judge books by their covers. Some overweight women really do try to stay healthy. Some thin women were blessed with a perfect metabolism, and can eat anything and never work out and never gain an ounce.

    I used to think I wanted to date a guy who was over 6’, then I met my boyfriend who’s 5’10” and it’s perfect (height was never one of those hard requirements, I just thought big height differences were cute, i’m 5’5” for reference). him only being 5 inches taller than me is absolutely perfect, we don’t have to strain to kiss each other, we both fit comfortably in the bed, and it’s comfortable to hold hands. I really can’t understand girls that are like 5’ and will only date guys if they’re 6’+ lol.

    • @GamingintheAM0801
      @GamingintheAM0801 Pƙed rokem +1

      Dating someone around your own height is best, I think. I can understand wanting someone taller than you, but anything more than, like, a six-inch difference is excessive if you ask me. 5'5" and 5'10" is fine!

    Standards are one thing. Basic standards like “having some similar interests as me” or “goal-oriented” or “kind and respectful” or “good communicator” are some good examples of basic, foundational standards to have for a relationship or a partner. But A) it’s better to keep those standards very general, like the concepts I just mentioned, and to not get overly picky and specific about the little details, and B) You REALLY have to be making sure you embody those traits as well. You can’t (well, more like shouldn’t) be like the contestants on The Button, who give absolutely nothing but expect to get everything they want in return

    Dating advice 101: try to find someone who has the same values, not based on looks. If your going off only looks and are disappointed in their personality, you’re going to have a bad time. Do your best to look attractive and know the difference between cute vs creepy.
