For all of the people saying this sounds like crap . . I agree with you 100%. The Factory tones sound very bad. Don't let Boss Fool You!! This is how it really sounds!!
The "Acoustic Guitar" (3-4) is better than I expected. Anyone got any tips for tweaking it to sound fuller?
Sounds very muffled, dark and intubated... Not natural at all!

Maybe it is the DAC that I am listening to this with, but these tones are just not as good as GT-1000. One would think that they improved on the tech from a couple of years ago, but this sounds like a step backward. Just one opinion, though. Thanks for posting this.
I just don’t like any of the tones. Sharp and edgy top end with little warmth. I want to like it but can’t.
On the P23-1 Studio Bass preset (as well as the other "bass" presets), where those recorded using a real bass guitar, or is it a regular guitar sound modulated to sound like a bass guitar?

Sounds a bit "dull". Are you recording direct from the unit, or through a single mic? Sounds like the ladder, which makes everything sound dull.
Gigged a GX100 D.I straight into a P.a as a Bass player for over 12 Months .

Jesus how bad were they! Probably a dozen that were OK. It's astonishing how many manufacturers overlook the importance of ensuring that perhaps the first 12 presets are really good. Of course a sensible buyer will have scoured the web for proper reviews and the expectation will be that they will be creating their own presets or maybe tweaking some existing ones. And over the last day or so I've seen some excellent you tube reviews where they have created some excellent tones.
