Thank you for doing some nuanced, fine-tuned clean and OD sounds, not focusing in the comparison between hardcore, speed, trash and gore metal SMH. Great video.
Tweakable, since the basic is already there. The only challenge is its price point. It might drive people the other way and get something else like NUX or Valeton, but this touch screen and ease of use is a real contender IMO. Damn.
GX-100 is the only one mid-segment processor that has AMP CTL feature. No one like NUX, Hotone, Mooer has such capabilities (and that's bad).

Are you only able to get these sounds with the Boss GX-100? Or can you get these sounds also with the Boss GT-1000?

@@10smdjbtksadly, although tweakable, BOSS baseline sound never quite satisfying, already happened since COSM era, now this AIRD. It's like BOSS is left behind in the simulation industry for head and cabinet. But say none for their effect and modulation, no other multi effect beat them so far IMO. BOSS multi fx is a very powerful tool for front of analog amp or using its fx chain.

Yes nothing comes from Boss and I hate the old fashioned IR loader and the communication between the editor and gx100 is slow. I have also a NUX mg-300 that do those things much faster but the GX100 has a lot of good effects and fx loop but you pay also 4 times more for it.
Da ist der Harley Benton DNA FX Git noch weitaus geiler,top Sound und ein unschlagbarer Preis! Von Latenz nix zu spüren und hat so viele Features dass ich nach 2 Jahren immer noch erschlagen bin von den Möglichkeiten 😅 Supie,deine Videos und Sachkenntnisse ! Könntest du mal den Harlry Benton DNA fx Git probieren ?
The factory presets are bad, but if u tweak it a little bit for example Glenn delaune makes this unit shine!!
I don't agree i don't like his noisy presets and IR files 😀

@@musik4life24 but does he use only the gx-100 ?? Glenn de Laune has used both his amp and the GX100 . I use a Blackstar dual drive in front of the GX100 and then everything sounds much better and I have a NUX mg300 in the effect loop because I like the amps better. The GX100 has good and many effects and dual signal path so you can make very good sounds. 😀
Great video, but not impressed with Boss in general. I'm a huge fan of Line6, but in my experience nothing beats the Headrush products. Even as someone without an ear for details, to me the Headrush just sounds NOTICEABLY better than anything else I've had the pleasure of trying out. The only thing I think is as good is Fractal but those are far more expensive and in my opinion not worth the price because the Headrush is killing it.

Nope ! Most people are not able to hear the difference in A/B testing of Boss digital preamps into a power amp with guitar speakers... some would might hear the difference running into the IR and direct to recording vs. micing your cabinet, but most of the time the IR will win, because most don't know how to mic their cabinets like the pro's. If there is a noticeable difference, it is in the way a real tube amp reacts to your playing... nothing you can detect from other people playing the instrument.
