If only this was recorded on video, would have loved seeing all these guests show up in the middle of a session. Regardless, they've been killing it with these audio only releases.
@DPunkk951 I can't help but wonder if people find it less intimidating to join in since it ISNT on camera. Theh don't have to dress up or anything and can give ALL their attention to what they're actually aaying/doing.
@bondickle I dont think thats it. Its their job to be on camera, and they would already be prepped to be filmed the rest of the day. It was probably a decision to save money not having to film and edit. And time as they could film other things while recording this.

It is such a great idea and they chose the perfect one in the cast to play the Fay lawyer

The difference in views is not from it being on Smosh cast, it’s the fact it’s audio only in particular, a huge oversight on their part

Damien is just awesome at this. Even if all the players are super chaotic and apparently only ever one step away from being murder hobos, he pulls everything together and makes the campaign make sense.
Furnace and Bug becoming combat buddies after bonding over almost killing someone is level 2 of bestie after bonding over patty cake in Season 1

Once all is said and done and Sword AF is over, y’all should do an in-character theater reenactment of some of the pivotal parts of the plot. Maybe make a play out of it, and any smosh cast members that weren’t guests can be various NPCs. Imagine Tommy as Tongo…

I thought season 1 was good but this season is absolutely incredible. I love how much everyone has come into their character and the creativity that has gone into this season! Thank yall for your hard work.
Id love for this series to be turned into an amimated series! Damien killed it with the writing. And the group has done a phenomenal job with their improv during the play through.

I’m just so impressed with how well the guest cast members have done with picking up the non-improv and character development parts of DnD! I can’t wait to see who else comes to play this season.

This season is just as much fun as the first (only wish we could watch them interact with each other)! Damien’s storytelling is phenomenal, and everyone does such a great job portraying their characters! I hope you do what you did for the first season; a round table discussion of the season and a livestream with the entire cast showing off fan art. I also hope you choose to do more than 2 seasons. This show deserves it.

I love this series so much! It's just awesome the way they are so chaotic but still so entertaining. Damien is a great DM who seems to roll with the chaos but also knows how to reign it in just enough to move the story forward.

Arasha was one of the people I was hoping to have in Sword af for no reason at all back in season 1. I'm glad to to see the cast gets involved in this as side characters and I hope they'll bring in another cast I was hoping to see (Courtney)

Love incorporating more of the cast as part of the DnD campaign - not that the main 5 can't carry it (I loved Season 1) , but I always think back to what Ian said about how the focus on the cast/crew as a whole really became a strength/focus of the other channels and it always makes me want to tune in to see who wants to join in, if only brief cameos like this and Ian's one

Man I cannot stress enough how much I love this show you guys got going. Great cast. Damian is the best DM I've seen in 30 years. Genuinely a god at story telling and grabbing the attention of listeners, he gets into every character he creates etc. This series made me fall in love with smosh,

I love Smosh DnD but wish they didnt cut so many of the dice roles. I get it since I guess they focus on story rather than mechanics but then its super jarring especially after Damien told us roles would be required 2 minutes before. I assume theyre cut rather than them just forgetting to role hahah
32:45 Honestly I’m surprised Bug didn’t roll for deception and reveal that Fredrick’s real name was Fernie. Technically his name is Fernie. Furnace was just a former version of Fernie that he had left behind. Fernie is a kind a loving person who would have never done the things that Furnace is accused of doing.
Bug would have “told the truth” in a round about way without getting Fernie found out. Missed opportunity there. But it also coulda backfired and revealed they had lied. Either way just wanted to share this thought lol
