Shayne, the reason people care about yall is because when we are pregnant or sick or going through a breakup or a layoff or a death or just life things, yall are there to cheer us up. Its a weird one way relationship. Yall made me laugh till i peed after i had my baby and was super depressed and wearing a diaper. So it's really nice when we see yall having good lives. 40:30 Regarding the concept that people actually care about the crazy stuff yall do and call entertainment, it sounds silly but genuinely the dumbest concepts make me and so many people the happiest!! The staring contest video was hysterically funny and i thought it would be boring but the cast and crews ability to take something simple and make it incredible is why we keep watching. Smosh helps so many people get through so many crazy, sad, depressing, and rough moments in their lives (even if you guys dont always see that). Thank you for being silly, it keeps some of our worlds spinning when it feels like it’s caving in.
As a 34 year old from AZ, the Jackass hype was real. In high school we used to jump down 10-20 step staircases during lunch. It drew large crowds. We felt cool. People thought we were cool......my feet were always so bruised. Worth it.
