AITA for jumping into a gorilla enclosure and getting the gorilla killed, I (3m) jumped into a gorilla, named Harambe (17m) during a trip to the zoo with my parents.

Actually, you should close the lid of ALL toilets before flushing, NOT just airplanes!! Mythbusters did an episode about this. Significantly more poop particles are aerosolized if you don’t close the lid.

I feel like Quora is like Yahoo Answers. I don’t particularly like how they position the thread by mixing in other or similar questions. It makes it super confusing.
It's yahoo answers but worse. The issue is they don't show the answer to the question first, they show the related questions below your question, you have to change it to show answers each time. It's dumb

The important thing to remember with stories like Harambe’s is that children are essentially tiny drunk people and are just living one intrusive thought to the next. It is the PARENT’s job to keep their kids from doing something insanely stupid like causing the death of a member of an endangered species.

Every time "two beautiful submarines" comes up it shocks my system. I dont know how i keep forgetting, but I'm glad I get to relive my first experience with that quote every time i hear it
The toilet lid thing is the same for EVERY toilet. Close the lid people! Especially if you have a toothbrush sitting on the counter you will be brushing your teeth with poo particles.
I keep my toothbrush in my bedroom for that reason.

42:19 as a dentist, it's ok not to rinse the toothpaste off with water cause of the fluoride in it. Granted, rinsing and reapplying with a clean paste should be better. Swallowing the toothpaste however might lead to kidney stones due to the trace minerals in the ingredients.

I'm so happy you mentioned long furbies, because they are honestly amazing. I never had a furby growing up, but I fell in love with long furbies the moment I was introduced to them; so I ended up buying a 1998 furby a couple years back just so that I can make my own, and it was so worth it. One of the best parts about them is that they have these long stupid names, and it almost becomes a competition once you have one to make up the most idiotic long name you can think of (mine is named Archibald Dusty DeVito- destroyer of god). These creepy worms just bring so much joy, and there are so many talented long furby makers on Etsy if you want one but don't have the energy or skills to make your own.

as someone who only became a fan of smosh in the past 6months i never fully understood the comments ppl made about olivia, but this episode just summed it up for me. She’s actually fucking hilarious 😭
She tends to fall flat during TNTL, which is understandable since improv is difficult. But she's proven her humor in a lot of other formats. She does her best when she's being candid.
I like her in this or anytime she's with Angela. Angela seems to make Olivia funnier and Olivia makes Angela somehow weirder? I don't know but I fucking love their dynamic, right from the very first Smosh Games video Angela was in.
The absolute PEAK Smosh Mouth energy this episode had with Olivia had my dying. Her getting into the Amanda being subscribed to People and then "but they're not People" line, I couldn't compose myself for a solid 2 mins after that
I love this even better that reddit stories. I like Shayne explaining to the cast both the good and bad sides of reddit.
I grew up in Cincinnati, I asked my mom about Harambe and her response actually surprised me. She told me that everytime she took me to gorilla world (the Cincinnati zoos gorilla exhibit) she would always keep an extra close eye on me. Specifically because there was a gap in the concrete wall and the wire fence that she believed was an accident waiting to happen. When I told her about the incident with Harambe she wasn’t even surprised. She isn’t by ANY means an animal rights advocate, but even so she stated that it was the fault of the enclosure and the lack of adult supervision that caused the harm of an innocent child and the death of an innocent animal.
There’s an old Smosh games video where they’re playing Sorry, and Courtney makes a Harambe joke and Amanda just changes the subject 😂
