I love how in all these videos not only does he nail Damien and Courtney pretty much immediately, he literally never even brings up their name for any set but their own. He just easily knows their tastes on all things.
I watch Smosh videos with my teenage daughter, so I'm probably not your target demographic, but I really appreciate this video! Y'all are role models for a lot of young people (oh, I can feel years being added to my age as I type this) and it's fantastic that you are intentionally (?) encouraging your viewers to read more. It warms my heart learning and Shayne confirming that Ian reads leadership books. It's no wonder why Smosh has thrived to this day and everyone feels like a family. Nothing but respect for Chumbawamba's No. 1 fan.
Idk why but this series is so sweet to me. Like it just shows how much Shayne pays attentions and listens to his coworkers and friends. He takes who they are to heart and then is able to use that knowledge of them for this.
He probably is most senior member of Smosh after Ian. I think he is also one of the few cast that is not contract working.

My favourite thing about this series, aside from it being awesome, is that I'm now starting to be able to guess cast and crew solely based on everything that's been shared by Shayne and the team, and the picture we're getting and that's being built, so it's becoming so much fun to play along and guess as well, and get a decent amount right. Like, this series is such a good way of fleshing out everyone at Smosh!

I only have gotten into reading like 4 years ago, but my favorite books (so far) are Jane Eyre, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and If We Were Villains. Honorable mentions: The ACOTAR series, Stoner by J. Williams and Zoo Station: The Story of Christiane F.
If you haven't, read Neon God's/aomlumpus series by Katee Roberts. I recommend this series to all my ACOTARs peeps

The fact that he knows so much about the people around him, even the people he doesn’t know that well, tells me that Shayne is a kind listener and an unbelievable processor of information. Even when he got one wrong, multiple times, his second choice was the correct answer
True, in addition to that this is him putting his psych degree to work.
Love that Shane pointed out how derivative Eragon is. For writing that well as a homeschooler teen it’s is a good series. You can tell what Paolini was reading and watching at the time of writing, ie, Tolkien, David Eddings, Star Wars., etc.

Kudos to Shayne that was the trickiest one to overcome. I haven’t of nearly half of these books, I’ve been out of the literature world for a while. Again congrats to Shayne, plus it was really great to hear Spencer crystal clearly in one of these for once.

This was really a wonderful way to find out about new books. I've been in such a rut reading the same 6 series for the last year and a half, unable to find new things to catch my interest. I now have 5 new series to check out and I'm thrilled. I also remembered that i absolutely loved six of crows, so I'll read that again once I've gotten out of this rut. I think my favorite thing about out this series is how much Shayne knows the people he works with. It’s an incredible quality.

Loved seeing "We Had a Little Real Estate Problem" in the episode. Great book. Even though it's not tribe specific (or in some ways perhaps BECAUSE it's not) really helped me feel more connected to my indigenous heritage; something that was denied to me as a kid because of my mixed ethnicity (Cuban & two indigenous tribes) and growing up raised by assimilated natives due to blood quantum. I feel like my great grandfather, who was the only connection I really had to my indigenous ancestry, would have really loved it despite it being about cultural connection through comedy and him practically being the template for the "stoic, humorless indian" trope/stereotype.
I would totally listen to an audiobook narrated by Shayne either in his own voice or in The Chosen's

I have to know though, has Shayne read(Better yet, listened to) Matthew Mcconaughey's Greenlights? I feel like he would have because he likes Matthew M, but if not I really hope he does. The fact that Mcconaughey narrates the book to you makes it so much better. I thought I was gonna die driving on the highway listening to that book because it made me laugh so hard.

Honestly, I think he deserves a half point anytime he gets it down to two people and the right one is one of them, even if he gets it wrong
I love books so this helps a lot with recommendations on what to read next! I would say my top 3 fav books are Mistborn: The Final Empire, Ender's Game, and 11/22/63. I always recommend these to other people because they stick out in my mind so much. Fantasy/Sci-fi/Thriller are the genres I go for haha.
Crescent City is probably one of my favorite book series so I just LOVE that Shayne has read it. I really hope he liked it!!

Flowers for Algernon is such a good book, but it also broke me! My top 3 are probably Hurt Go Happy by Ginny Rorby, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the Chamber of Secrets (HP 2), but there are so many books that I love it is super hard to narrow it down to three
