what a fantastic experience! the peaches look divine - especially compared to those that we find in the supermarket in the states. during my first visit to Japan my hahaue, my middle auntie (who lives in Yokosuka) and I went to visit my eldest auntie (who lives in Yokohama). my eldest auntie met us at the train station and on the walk to her house she took us to her neighbourhood fruit vendor. I saw the most beautiful peaches and could not stop looking at them because they were so perfect. the shop owner noticed me looking so intently and asked my auntie about me, and why I was staring at the peaches. when my hahaue explained how I thought they were most beautiful, the owner was so happy and told me to select one for myself as a welcome gift from the shop. it was my first fresh fruit in Japan, and the most fragrant and delicious peach I have ever eaten.
aww that's a most beautiful story. I know what you mean though. I never really cared much for fruits and vegetables in general until I came back to Japan.
a tip : you can watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Hunter Kaden definitely, I've been using flixzone for years myself :)
Peaches hold a special place for me, my mom and aunt get together every year to can peaches in syrup. They would buy them by the bushel and lay them out in my grandparents' garage on flat boxes to ripen in the heat and get just right before slicing and canning them. When they're just right you have to sort of suck on the peach when you bite it to get all the juice that comes out. I think the appropriate descriptor is "luscious". I don't think I've ever picked a peach off a tree before, but I have vivid memories of the entire house smelling like peaches from my mom and aunt doing their processing and canning. I hope I can learn how to do it myself in the next few years, so my partner and I can carry on the tradition.
aww that sounds so wonderful! I think I would be in heaven!
Peaches looks so good. Love the view from the train.
Every farmers market I have ever been to always smells like fresh strawberries and peaches. Something comforting about being surrounded by so much green too.
I love when you both go and pick fruit, these are some of my favorites...#couplegoals
i love how excited satoshi gets over the sweet peach!! so cute
peach season in New Hampshire is just beginning! Nothing better than FRESH peaches from the tree! YUM!
You two never fail to cheer me up and are the first thing I watch when I get home. Thank you for who you are and what you do!
Thank you so much Katrin. That's the nicest thing to say. Hope you had a nice day today.
I meant it! And yes today is good. :)
TabiEats you guys are such a great couple!!
What a great video! The ekiben on the train looked great - both of them looked delicious, but Shinichi's ekiben looked especially good! I'm so glad you were able to travel to Yamanashi. It was such a hot day, but hopefully it was worth the trip. The peaches looked outstanding at both locations. Wow! Thanks for going to all the trouble to make the video! Hugs to you both!
Love my peaches sweet and crunchy. Those peaches look so good!
In my childhood I lived on a farm in the South US (State of Arkansas). And my Dad planted 1/2 acre of vegetables. Carrots, onions, celery, tomatoes, cucumber, turnips, corn. And we had fruit trees. Apple, pear, peach, plum. And a green grape vine. And also wattermelon and cantaloupe. I will never forget what that was like. And have never had such good veg and fruit since I moved from there. I hardly ever ate meat when I lived on that farm. You are right proper vegetables and fruit have a fragrance (strong smell). And it does enhance the taste. And good fruit is sopposed to taste like flavored sugar. If that makes sense.
The more i watch TabiEats' videos, the more i want to visit Japan.
What a bountiful orchard! Gorgeous fruits too. Thanks for sharing the trip :)
I'm from Georgia also and it really doesn't make a lot of difference between a hard peach that is red and a soft one that is likely overripe. There is a peach farm here that not only sells peaches, they sell some of the best peach ice cream you have ever tasted. I love you guys!!!
This makes me miss picking peaches back when I used to live in North Carolina years ago. We'd head to South Carolina and pick peaches there and take them home. Fresh peaches are the best!
thanks guys excellent video, places you went where no normal tourists would go......
I love Satoshi's little giggle he's doing while he's picking and eating his last peaches... "Eh heh! Heh!"
peaches are awesome.
growing up we had to pick your own strawberries - eat one eat one - only pay for those picked. But so much fun as an experience especially as a child.
I love peaches
You guys just got my mom drooling (she loves peaches).
lovely peaches
I love how excited satoshi is
Love your videos, but this is the first one that made my mouth water... for peaches of all things. Those looked amazing.
Looked so delicious !!! Both of you looked so tired.
Great that both of you share such wonderful trip
I watch your videos everyday after a hard day at work. My way of shaking off the stench of failure from work and wind down with my kids...LOL . Love your programs. The girls were amazed at how many peaches you had. Thanks for letting us "travel" and "dine" with you every day.
I live in a peach area in U.S. and I've never seen such beautiful peaches. Japan just does stuff so well.
It's a pleasure to watch you guys :)
Yeay!! I was waiting for this peach picking video!! How exciting to see the peaches on the trees and you trying them out at the farm itself!! I was clapping and smilling to myself.. haha...
Im crazy over peaches too! They are very expensive here in Malaysia.
In the UK in the summer, some places let you pick your own fruit - things like strawberries and raspberries. I wish we had the climate to grow peaches - the ones you picked looked spectacular and the smell must have been wonderful. Years ago, the Body Shop (ethical cosmetics store) used to make a scent called Fuzzy Peach and it was my favourite but they stopped making it.
Your country excels in beautiful packaging! I would buy ekiben just to look at it 🙂
Hi guy's how you doing good to see you guy's enjoy this video thanks stay safe God BLESS you
I really ekiben. When i eat on train i feel happy. Love japan train and always enjoy there
I love peaches, I grew up on a farm we had so many types of fruit but my fave was peaches, I love ya channel Tabi Eats
I feel so refreshed when im.watching your videos.
Such Beautifull Colours , the strong Green of the Leaves and the bright Orange Red Peaches , its worth to paint it ! So nice !
If i could get my Hand on such Peaches i would bake a Cake with it and make some great Jelly from it for a good Breakfast Toast !
It's peach season here in Colorado too! Your peaches are very tasty looking!!!
So good!!!! ! Lucky you guys!!!
I so dig Satoshi! Peaches look amazing :)
Thanks for spending extra on the express train so we could see those delicious looking ekiben!
Thanks for the video guys! It's so nice to see so much more of Japan. One of the trips over I need to go further than Tokyo and Yokohama.
Here in the us Georgia is known for its peaches. The best peach is soft but not squishy and picked from the tree. Unripe picked ones like at the store never sweeten. We have farms in the south called u pick farms they sell 1/2 bushel u pick them or full bushels to pick price depends on which you get. For more money you can have them picked already. And you get to take them home But, you can also find vendors on side of the road for already picked ones. I like to pick myself.
I dunno what looked better: The Ekiben or the Peaches! So tasty! Glad you guys had a good time on your trip, wishing you safe travels back to Tokyo!
I love the videos where you guys travel and we get to see how lovely Japan really is! I would love to visit there someday!
What a lovely trip. I miss the smell of fresh peaches. I used to be the baker at a fruit stand and they grew 80 varieties of peaches plus other fruits and vegetables. It was great to just walk out the door and grab whatever fruit I needed to bake the pies.
Love your day trip videos! Especially the ekibens :)
You guys are so much fun to watch! I can almost taste the peaches myself!! Thank you.
I could eat a peach... for hours :D Great video, i love to see other parts of Japan! Never knew they had so many orchards.
The bentos are so beautiful, they are like jewelry boxes. We never get peaches as wonderful as those here on the prairies, just hard things you could play baseball with. I hope your digestive system handled all that peach goodness! Great video guys, thanks for all the effort that went into this day trip♥
Both the bentos and peaches were great! And we would travel to the end of the earth for you guys! Thanks for watching!
thank you, we grow lots of peaches here in the Southeastern US (State of Georgia ). We only produce about 2.6 million bushels a year (thats 91621 Cubic meters metric or 133 million pounds) of some 33 different varieties so we have fresh peaches from June until August.
OHhh we would love to try all those varieties of peaches. Sounds so good!
I've had Georgia peaches - they really are amazing! :-) We also get very good peaches right here where I live, surprisingly. A lot of fruit is grown in California and is quite good. Georgia really excels when it comes to peaches.
I bet they are really excellent! It would be so nice to taste the Yamanashi peaches one day. :-)

Check this out it is something to think about
That bowl of peeled peaches looks like watermelon or papaya. Very nice video :)
Peaches are one of my favorite fruits ever. I'm learning Japanese just for the sole reason of touring Japan with my fiance someday. Now that you've shown this video, Im adding it to our travel goals!! Domo arigatou!
My mouth is totally watering!! gosh those peaches! I love you guys :)
You guys are making me sooooooo jealous! Peaches are my FAVORITE fruit, and those look so tasty
What a video, Ekiben and U-Pick peaches.
10/10
Wonderful. Your video reminded me of picking peaches at my grandma's. She lived in a trailer park, so not exactly where you would expect a peach tree, but her peach tree was amazing. I remember being told that we had to harvest that day because the peaches were weighing the tree limbs down so that they were touching the ground.
My boyfriend did his university exchange year in okayama city and they have a special momo festival. He said the peaches in Japan are devine ❤️ they look so amazing! I hope one day I can try them too...
Love you video's guy's keep up the good work! 🎈💝🎈
Peachs are my favorite fruit
Wow! I envy you guys. I hope i could eat ekiben on a train and pick some peaches someday. Your country is so beautiful!
Love you guys!
i would love to see the farmers talking about the process of growing the peaches 😁😁 Great video!
Loved the peaches....and bentos!
Yay! Love all your videos!
My sister just brought it back from Japan the Peaches taste very awesome.
I always enjoy your ekiben videos! The scenery and the tasty food always look good. :D
I've eaten a lot of peaches in my life, but the best one I had was from my own mother's tree one year. The bees and wasps were getting most of them. I picked a few anyways and we ate them inside. They were by far the sweetest and juiciest peaches I've had. I don't know what name of the peach tree it is. I don't know if my mom or dad would remember, either.
My mom and father always grow a lot of their own vegetables and fruit. She grows grapes, apples, peaches, blackberries, blueberries, watermelon and strawberries. Dad has tons of different veggies. My kids love to go visit to eat all the good food. I miss having the access of the fresh veggies and fruit I must admit.
Thanks for sharing your lovely trip. ^^
+My Simplistic Pleasures since we live in a city apartment, I dream of being able to eat fruits and vegetables that are freshly picked. That sounds absolutely lovely. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
new reason I want to go to Japan.. ^^

I've been watching for a couple of weeks. I surrendered and subscribed. Love your videos.

By the way, I am originally from Georgia, USA. The state most famous for peaches. That fresh peach aroma cannot be beaten.
Lori Hart: You'll have to join a live feed one time. Currently Midnight to 1 AM (early Sunday morning, every week), EST. Maybe the time will change come Nov. 5 when daylight savings re-adjusts.
Lori Hart their channel is addicting! I watch every night before bed.
This was a great video! I love the travel videos and we get to see parts of Japan that we wouldn't usually get to see. Thanks Guys!

Beautiful fruits & scenery; loved the ekiben; the peaches at ur first stop looked so lush!
Great video as always! I love when you guys travel and eat.
Yay! I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the great work!
AWw thanks!
Those look so good! My partner's dad always says that you can tell if it's a good peach by eating it over a sink. If you have to eat it over a sink, because of all the juice, it's a great peach.
Amazing!!! I loved it. Great peach 🍑 video
Thank you so much for this video! お疲れ様でした! I actually just got back to UK from Japan for a summer program and I am missing the country already. Hope you do more videos of traveling around the country! Been a subscriber since I saw a couple vids from you guys! Keep up the good quality videos! 👌💓

I would love to travel to Japan! I love your videos so much :D keep it up!
I love Japan 😍😍😍😍😍😍 and I love your videos 😍😍😍😍😍😍
wow..i absolutely love these videos where your travelling to the fruit farms and picking and eating the fruit.. we don't get to do things like that here where i'm living and its amazing to see the whole process from farm to mouth..it looked like you guys were starting to get a sugar high from them😁.. and such beautiful country side too.. love these videos and i do hope you get to do more of them..after all..i know it can be quite costly but its cheaper than a gym membership and you get a workout and good nutritional food from it too😁😁😁 love to you guys as always xxx
Haha. You're right about the gym membership. I'd much rather go on this trip than pay for gym membership! thanks for watching nicola!
I am jealous! Those peaches looked yummy!!
I would love to go on a little day trip like this! I really wish I had the money to come to Japan and teach english like so many Gai Jin do. I want to try fresh Oden.. all of it. You guys show such a wonderful side of Japan. You're also just the loveliest people. -hugs from Australia-
I live in Georgia in the us we have farms where you can pick your own for about fifteen dollars not to cheap but you get to fill up two bussel baskets
Loved this video. Now I want fresh tree ripened peaches :)
You always have me drooling and wanting even more to go to Japan.
We have train stations without real stations here too. Ours are even in the city :P.
We have mulberry trees out in the open, like that. So many parks I've been to, have them, and I've just eaten them.
Peeling peaches is strange to me. I love their fuzzyness. Fresh peaches are always so much better than store bought. Fresh Ontario peaches are so good, I always buy a lot when they're ready, here.
So fresh peaches
