The shoe is only meant to withstand a few 100 miles. You’re correct that it is hard to get your hands on these shoes because of it being sold out and pricy. Though these reasons are irrelevant to not buy the shoe. People have wants and needs. These are unnecessary reasons just to get attention.
In my experience nike running shoes' build quality isn't as good as some other brands. My invincibles damn near disintegrated after a few 100 miles. Whereas my Asics, Hoka's, and Newbalances at least held together to be slip on shoes after I rotated them out.
@@psionoblast5379 some Nike shoes do have unsustainable quality but in my perception it may be your form and what you run on. Sure there are other brands you are free run in however “few 100 miles” is what any regular trainer can withstand. Same applies to various brands other than Nike.
If you’re looking for that fast Mara/half these could be the shoe. If you know someone with your size try them as they can rub your arches and give blisters. Don’t bye for 5k. 10k maybe worth but these a lot of options in the 10k
Too late, I bought a pair. For those who only see them as racing shoes, I have worn the Alpha 1s for over 500 miles and the Alpha 2s for over 600 miles without any injuries.
My friend got these and blew through them, for the amount your paying they should last longer. He wore rite through the rubber pods in the back and went down to the foam. Not cool.
Paid 295 for mine. Never in a rush to buy a shoe and they always come out with new colores and the ones in this vid are old and last years model. A new color has since came out and another on the way.
You’re only point that stands is the price there race shoes not made for durability and the sold out thing that’s not a reason for them being a bad shoe?

it’s probably only gonna take 10-20 grams of extra weight in order to have a lot more durability.
