I enjoy your video. I started learning piano in June 2017 by myself and I have been using Piano Marvel since September 2017. I love it! They teach music from the basic to intermediate level and their music library, is very good for those like me who like classical music and they have music sheet up to advance levels. They also have some pop music but not as many as I would like. I watch your video because I am looking for a new app to use when I have finished my learning with Piano Marvel, especially an app with more pop music. I also like your enthusiasm..

it's also important to note that piano marvel has the ability to upload songs. They have a lot of songs but it appears they don't pay for too many royalties as others. E. g no ludovico Einaudi famous pieces. Flow Key is by far the best library I have seen and their arrangements are excellent without all the sometimes questionable backing music others add. Also flowkey music is not strictly to a metronome tempo so adds an extra level of professionalism in their as intended by the original composer. Their songs are all played by actual pianists rather then a computerised generation like others.
However it's very poor and dated teaching app and no feedback on how well you played

Some songs are complete on flowkey but like you mentioned a lot of them are abbreviated. But you can just figure out when to repeat the verses and the chorus. The problem might be the bridge of the song if they don’t include that.

Simply Piano has another library is a part of the app called Play (in Beta mode). It has some of the Tomplay function, i.e. scrolling sheet music, but has an option for training and feedback. But no printing or annotation. There are a lot of songs in various genres, different from the songs in the courses. Maybe it’s just in the paid version of the app?

On my new Donner piano, starting with the G two octaves above middle G and all the way up from there, it won’t sustain. With or with out the pedal. The keys before those sustain normally for many seconds with the pedal or just holding the note. I talked to Donner about this and they said it’s normal. Is it normal for you piano? Your reply is eagerly awaited. Thank you.

Your videos have helped me tremendously to decide. One question I have about Playground Sessions (which I am seriously looking at) is there a feature where the music sheet shows the chord note written out (e.g. letter ‘G’ on top of the notes) or is it somethng you’d have to annotate yourself? Thanks in advance for the response...anyone out there who knows the answer I would appreciate knowing!
