- It's done. The dust is settling, and we're finally going to live in a world where our Thursdays are not marred by weekly SHE-HULK releases.
Did the finale pay-off? Was it worth the eight weeks of garbage we all trudged through?
Or was this just the icing on a cake made of compost?
In this video, I’ll give you guys a brief, spoiler-free review of this FINAL episode, and then recap/review the episode bit by bit.

Im actual surprised how so many people loved this finale, because it was creative, yeah sure, creative but that doesnt always translate well and this showed, what a slap in the face

I like how instead of actually fixing the ending, they made a plot line of She-hulk trying to fix the ending.
Ironically, she still needed someone else to do it just like how she never moved the plot. And technically, KEVIN is a man.

It was definitely reshot. One of Inltelligencia guys namedrops Lady "Jane Thor". The show was filmed a year ago. No one would know about fans reactions to "Jane Thor" a year before the actual move came out, so that was a new reshot and redirected scene.
It also doesnt make sense in-universe. She-Hulk canonically takes place a year before Thor Love & Thunder so no one should even know who Lady Thor is yet..
Jay must be so relieved that this show is over.

I think taking a mean dump into the toilet is way more of a relief than this sorry excuse of a show! After watching the greatness that is House of The Dragon, especially with Paddy Considine's moving and Emmy worthy performance, what the hell is She Hulk?

So She-Hulk is essentially the most powerful being in the MCU. Not only can she transcend time, but she can travel across the Disney+ menu and go into whatever show she wants to alter storylines. What’s to stop her from appearing in Andor?!
She's much, much stronger than that. She also has the ability to make grown men cringe at any moment
They used my boy Matt Murdock ,a character from an acclaimed series, like a prop in a stage play. DC would never do this with a live action Batman.

It's almost like the writers intentionally made it bad just to feel superior to the fanbase to spite them.

MCU got what they wanted (enough money to start a clone colony on Mars) and are laughing in ppls faces over opinions. I don't think they care if it all burns at this point which is truly a shame and a waste. I totally get why people prefer reading now, the book presents its intentions in the forward so you don't waste your time with it if you think you might not like it

I actually thought there for a minute that the real Kevin Feige was gonna appear and break the fourth wall by laughing at us for wasting our time. That would have been so evil but atleast some kind of a conclusion, lol!
It sucks that some of us She Hulk fans have waited decades for her to be represented in a movie or tv show, and this show is the first thing we got.
Even from just her first issue and whatever representation she's had in animation since the late '90s to now that I've seen I can tell this was just wrong

I fractured two ribs yesterday. Have been in so much pain that I made my doctor prescribe me something strong. Doc gave me Percocet and even high on that shit, this finale hurt me more than my ribs. This was absolutely atrocious and offensive. Thanks for the review and the hard work you put into them.

For a far superior Hulk TV show the 1970's series is available on blu-ray and takes its source material seriously without taking potshots at other iterations. 👍
Not really. They didn't like the idea of someone called Bruce, which is why they ended up calling him David.

Jen wanted Emil to "take responsibility" for turning into the Abomination to do a speech. He ended up going to prison for 20 years in the end because of it. However, she broke her inhibitor, transformed to SheHulk when she was ordered not to, then trespassed on private property, then assaults security guards maybe even permentantly hurting them. Why doesn't she have to take responsibility for her actions? After all she trashed a courthouse, a wedding, a parking structure. Is she paying for any of those? The show should be called She- Hypocrite.
Feige said a while ago on Reddit that he doesn’t like appearing on camera so when they mentioned him I had a feeling his form would be an AI or something like that.

It's almost like the writers of this show were specifically looking for a fight with the fans. Why else would they write such a ridiculous spin to their finale? It's almost like they want to enrage the fans so they can conveniently excuse their failure on the "toxic fans".
I felt NOTHING AT ALL watching that Season Finale. I have NEVER been SO UNinvested in a character before until this show. Like i legitmately did NOT care about or for ANYTHING on the screen💀😭
Man, I think what I will miss most about this show is all the videos that people have been putting out talking about how unbelievably bad it is. It’s depressing but entertaining at the same time. Well all shouldn’t be scrapped. The actress & the she-hulk look are wins (less the she-hulk look) but it would be a loss if the actress isn’t marvel utilized as marvel needs charismatic characters now more than ever.

Yeah its weird....Ive never watched something and thought damn these weiters are just generally bad people...I mean even the worst people im Hollywood are actually good enough at their jobs that their not outing themselves for being monsters...but the weiters of she hulk are the most unique combinations of bad people and incompetent while also being blissfully unaware..theyre literally the female versions of Michael Scott

Thank you Jay for making the sacrifice to review this from start to end, no matter how painfully torturous it got. Yours and Braeden Alberti's reviews are what got me through this debacle of a show. They actually managed to make Jen, one of the most likeable comic characters in not just Marvel but in all of comics, completely unlikeable. And that's not even including the crappy story-telling, dialogues and CGI in this waste of a series.
I hope that, for the sake of your mental health, if they make a season 2 you won't review it no matter how much people may beg you to.

Andor is good, but slow and to most is somewhat boring, Preferably House of the Dragon has been the best thing to watch so far, Spending the whole week watching The Cringes of Power, She-Hulk was a torment but at least it ends with a good meal at Sunday nights

What's sad is that this episode was the 2nd best of the whole bunch. Sadder is that the idea of She-Hulk breaking into Marvel Studios to complain about the show is perfectly legit, in ways that I don't think they intended. But since they get to go meta, so do I. And the meta tells me that they wrote this show but TRULY had no idea how to string all the elements together into a cohesive ending, so they backed out on paying off anything and went the "meta" route.
The show was pointless and inconsequential throughout, but hinting at something significant throughout the run, then got to the end where it was basically: "We got nuttin', but that was totes on purpose, yo." No. They never had it.
I know this because as silly and nonsensical all the Todd-Hulk/baby face Abomination/Titania crap was, the ending Jen fought for made even less sense. They make out like everything is going to be fine for her, but she STILL lost her sh!t in public. The writers seem to truly think that people shouldn't be concerned about her wrecking this award show; "peeps gotta wreck sh!t when somebody pi$$es them off, amirite?" Can you imagine if Tony Stark found out about Winter Soldier and his parents while he was hosting one of his big events, then lost his sh!t and started blowing the hell out of everything? What would people think of that character?
When I started watching this I immediately thought of it's always sunny in Philadelphia scene.
I confess I haven't watched a single episode. From what I heard, Jen going to see the writers is straight from the comic. It seems the only problem with the show was all the lead up to the moment (Episodes 1 to 8) and the rest of Episode 9.
Let's just look forward to the next Werewolf by Midnight installment

They made the ending bad.. they knew it was bad.. and they tried to save it by saying inside the show “hey we know it’s bad.. but at least we one up’d the trolls, right? That super dope right?? We’re so smart” ….
Good synopsis. I am still a Marvel fan, but this series was definitely 'below par'. What I don't get is how can a studio that has given us such great entertainment, look at these scripts during the preparation phase and look at each other and say - Looking good - let's start filming.

Every uncalled-for change that they swear up and down everyone wanted is the equivalent of someone writing the next care bear movie and implementing guns,torture scenes,deaths of the main cast members, and child sex trafficking and then expecting the audience to say "AHH this is what the care bear franchise was missing! A dark,dismal,and gritty environment!" Like...minus any actual events lol. Like that's how out of touch the writers are and to add insult to injury,the route they went with was bland and unmemorable at best. Like at the shows absolute best it was boring. I went in trying to be so optimistic but it's complete garbage

I actually kinda liked the "plot twist" of this episode, it's actually pretty on-brand with the character (she did it a few times in the comics, where she breaks the 4th wall to go complain directly to the writers or editor about a bad plot), and I feel it was translated pretty well into TV studios mode.
Now, it also feels like the writers wrote themselves into a corner, realized they screwed themselves, had to retcon everything at the 11th hour, without any budget left for more vfx (I don't even think that K.E.V.I.N line about the VFX team having moved on to another project /cue Black Panther jingle/ was even a joke), and just went all the way in for the crazy meta joke of let's go to Disney studio talk to KEVIN, coz that's literally and figuratively the cheapest way to "fix" it.
While throwing the MCU a little under the bus with a "we know that you know that we got a plot formula problem, and we're letting you know that we know that you know" hoping it would distract the audience for just how bad this show screwed up...
I feel a bit miffed. It was certainly an interesting direction for an MCU show finale, certainly something unique (for the people complaining Marvel is always doing the same thing over and over again), and I actually kinda enjoy that they were ballsy enough to do it, Matrix Reload/Resurrection style.
But the execution just felt lacking and pretty disingenuous (as I mentioned, it feels more like a cheap cop out while throwing Marvel's more general issues under the bus as a distraction), so I can't really put myself behind it. Still an enjoyable last 2 episodes, I'm just a bit bummed that we had to suffer through 7 mediocre ones before getting 2 decent ones.
Good thing House of the Dragons and Andor are airing at the same time so we still have great shows to watch (to She Hulk's great chagrin. Now that Game of Thrones is back and Star Wars is in Full Force (heh), we really realize just how lucky Marvel didn't have to compete with any of them when they launched their first batch of series. Now that they're in direct competition, oh boy, the contrast hurts the eyes...) !
Funny how usually after a good show, I've got a post-show depression (goodness Cyberpunk Edgerunners hit me hard), here I only feel liberation !
The greatest thing about this show is that there won't be an episode next week and we can finally focus on House of Dragon and Andor ! (oh, and Bleach, and Mob Psycho 100 ! They're back, baby !) Thank you show !

I actually like how they did Daredevil, I thought he was the only good thing in the series. The rest of it isn’t hurt bad, it’s like painfully irrelevant to anything related to anything. I mean I’m just numb after that finale. It was like I had a weird goofy dream about the she-hulk finale making no sense and deleting the entire point of the previous 8 episodes, except it wasn’t a dream.

I wish I could say that it couldn't possibly get worse than this but I have no doubt the writers can find a way to sink even lower. I can't imagine how but I believe in them.

Most people on the internet are easily riled up over any ol' thing. (Even you, for example.) I'm not one of those people. The "insults" of someone who doesn't know me doesn't bother me.
But I do find it interesting that your position is that everybody must think like you and have your exact tastes and perspectives. And that anyone else that doesn't think like you do, like what you like, and share the perspectives that you have *has to be* either unintelligent or simple-minded.
It must be difficult living life with such a weird and short-sighted ideal.

Never in all my years have I seen a dumpster fire burn so bright that it served as a beacon of hatred for all of the fandom to rally behind. For everyone that made it to the end of She Hulk, we are indeed a family now. Unshakable in our resolve for we bore witness to the ultimate form of non-sensical story telling. This show will go down in history for it's infamy, and I feel bad for the actors and actresses who are now definitely blacklisted after this fiasco. I've never seen a show throw literally everything and everyone under the bus so badly that the bus actually crashed.
