Never forget, never forgive. Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson didn't just kill our heroes, they poisoned them first. Leia became a sad, wasted general. Han became an aged smuggler with no ship. Luke became a green-breast-milk-sucking bum. Episode 7-9 were made to kill Star Wars, and replace it with a Star Wars where all women are flawless and awesome, and all men are either idiots and a joke, or evil and a joke. They wanted not only to kill off the original characters, but spoil their memory.
I was not a great fan of Star Wars. I always thought it was over rated. I did not understand the hoopla. But, I am really offended that someone, with no talent, no originality, can come in and just change everything...for the worst. Sorry George. It is a shame.

I was a huge Star Wars fan since I have been young and I haven't watched a single Disney Star Wars not even for free on TV. I think Disney should look at buying the rights to the Iliad from Homer and then rewrite it as female and LGBT centric. That would easily be as legitimate as their Star Wars.

They kinda already are, the few years of projects have been flop after flop. Lightyear, almost the entirety of post Endgame MCU, nearly everything Star Wars outside of Andor & first 2 seasons of Mando. Has Pixar even had a successful movie within the last 4 years?
Yet they STILL can't get it through their thick ass skulls. Why did they think Iger return was going to save anything given this all started with him in the first place. Then there's his absolutely abhorrent comments made during the strikes that shows he has absolutely no respect for anyone that works for that company except himself & the upper executive ranks. Anyone below that is an ant that should be squashed & replaced if they think for a second they're important to the company.

Experience, age, maturity brings in that certainty of knowing WHO you are. You've already gone through many things in life, you made yourself evolve, improve, become better. No way does any woman, or man, make me uncomfortable.
I detect the intention, I immediately label that person as someone I don't want to communicate with. It's unproductive to have a debate with someone with ill intentions.
As a Star Wars fan... the franchise ended with Episode VI, Return of the Jedi.
KK, Jar Jar Abrams and all the rest have appropriated the franchise. But the original story, the actual story and universe, those will continue on inside real fans.
I tend to do the Jason Voorhees head tilt when idiots like Kennedy try stupid things like this.

As a retired firefighter, I learned something about society in general. That is, things have to completely break before they are fixed. Seeing that it's going to break, knowing that it's going to break isn't enough. That is Disney. There is no help for it now. Only the rebuilding from the smoking ashes. Renamed maybe, something like "Disney Too"!
I dont know of thats possible with Disney being owned mostly by Blackrock Fund Advisors, Vanguard Group, SSgA management etc.

Honestly you can learn film from a certificate course and make your own short films, the latter method entails watching BTS documentaries and reading books and then doing. That’s the Tarantino and Rodriguez method anyway. Mine too!

Good thing about entertainment is there is so much of it I am not forced to watch hot garbage because someone says if you want more of this IP then this is the shit you will have deal with.
I mean I keep watching these channels but have lately started to wonder why. My only conclusion is I am waiting to see if Disney will actually pull it head out of it own ass and start making food movies again. Other than that I can not really justify why I am consuming content about content I am no longer consuming.

Star Wars was one of those Fandoms that helped shape me, gave me an escape growing up from a life that at times...could be a lot. I loved Han Solo and his loyalty to his friends, I Idolized Luke and admired Leia for being anything but a damsel in distress. I empathized with Anakin later and lamented with Obi Wan over the fall of a good man and a powerful Jedi. What Kathleen Kennedy the traitor has done is death by a thousand cuts and this latest move is sickening on a new level. Thank you Jay for being a voice for Star Wars fans and fans in general who are tired of moves like these from the people charged with the caretaking of the stories we love. Appreciate it.

This hire reminds me of Jessica Gao getting put in charge of She Hulk. I’ve been going to movies for over 30 years and have been a fan of Disney, Pixar and Star Wars for ages. I find it a shame that so much content being produced seems solely to attack a certain demographic.
It’s absurd to me that the very people who made Star Wars the success it is…the fans, are losing or have lost faith in the franchise they love because of the huge egos at Disney.
What these executives seem to forget is that for a lot of people going to the cinema to see these movies is a form of escape from whatever stresses and worries that fill their lives.
I for one know what it’s like to escape my life when I was young. The cinema was my only friend when I was a boy and I am saddened at the attitude of some people in the industry.

I'm with you 100%, I decided a while back that I will no longer spend my money on content created by Disney. Which kind of pains me because I own over 50+ Disney movies, a large chunk consisting of the classics Walt actually made.
The Disney of the last is not the same as the modern Disney. We can still love those classics because clearly different people made them

This is one of the rare times where almost all walks of Geek life are unified and pissed off at the same thing, and for good reason. We're with you on the Disney Boycott Snarky. We dropped Disney + the moment we heard Gina Carano was fired, we stopped watching Disney Star Wars after The Last Jedi, and dropped Disney Marvel after Avengers: Endgame. F*ck Disney! And I grew up on it! 54yrs old. Sad. So sad.

I honestly couldn't care less about Star Wars anymore. I remember watching Empire on TV during the holidays as a 5 year old, I was amazed and enthralled and Star Wars became a huge part of my life as a kid. I got the Star Wars Trivial Pursuit game for Christmas one year and the family actually gathered around to just quiz me, and I knew everything the game could ask me. I've played every Star Wars game ever made. I was camped out with a buddy to be first in line see Ep1 in my area as a 16 year old. I even really enjoyed Force Awakens, hoping it could revitalize the franchise and that movie, while not perfect, was overall solid, solid enough to build around. They have destroyed this franchise, they have beat it into the ground and stomped on its corpse, and EVERYONE involved in culpable for it, including Filoni. I couldn't care less about Star Wars anymore, there are many just like me.
I feel so stupid for spending so much money on Star Wars now. I’ve moved on to Godzilla.

This happened to WWE. They got a billion dollar advertising deal, and it became a show that appealed only to the boss and the advertisers. The fans were completely cut out, and only one guy was pushed.

ive always pride myself as an optimist. as someone who holds on to hope for a better tomorrow kinda like Luke Skywalker. though after hearing what that woman said about making men uncomfortable and now newly hearing she isnt even an experienced storyteller, yeah i think im more than ready to fully turn my back and walk away from this franchise! im also going to cling onto the more successful iterations of a galaxy far far away with every shred of strength i have left!! i was terribly wrong. there really is no hope with them any more.
She directed the Ms Marvel show, one of the lowest rated Disney Plus shows. So bad in fact, that when Disney put it on ABC later for free, almost no one watched there either.
And yet she fails upwards by being appointed to direct a Star Wars movie. With zero film school credentials.
And so Disney doubles down on their agenda fueled mission to destroy their own company financially.

I'm not even a Star Wars fan and all I can think is just how insane this is. Why would you spend millions of dollars to make a movie just spit in the faces of the people who you're trying to sell the movie to? This doesn't even make sense. I said it before but I think I have to say it again and again: This is insane. Like I literally can't wrap my mind around this. This is just pure insanity.

I am glad you're speaking out against this mysandry. I think more women need to come forward and call out this toxic behavior that these women are displaying. If us guys do it, its seen as "toxic masculinity" and the "patriarchy" trying to silence them.

Can we all recognize that a new hope wouldn’t have been nearly as good without Marcia Lucas editing the whole damn movie?!? It’s really interesting, it was almost unwatchable before her involvement. Yes George came up with the idea but she understood it just as well and sometimes better.
At least in my eyes she’s just as important to the creation of Star Wars as George. Disney probably wants to have us ignore her since she’s publicly come out multiple times dumping on Disney Lucasfilm and KK.

I've been really, truly wanting to thank you for making this video. Words can not describe my disappointment lately in what these maniacs are doing to one of my favorite franchises of all time. Thank you for speaking truth from your heart about what they are trying to do to the male customers of these once beloved franchises. My mind can't wrap around the fact that these are supposed to be the brightest people in the world. How do they not do research? It's very clear that the sequels were overall a disaster and that the male audience is being disrespected. Polarizing the fan base. Nobody on planet earth were staying up late praying for another Ray Skywalker movie. So again, thank you so much for speaking up for the guys.
