Backpacking food: how to make a bannock, bacon & egg supermuffin in your billy can (video recipe)

I took to the woods one Sunday morning and prepared the biggest Bannock, Bacon & Egg super Muffin! Good thing I was very hungry because this thing was a beast. ;)
If you prefer your bannock topped with an egg fried in wrappings of sizzling bacon goodness, look no further than this recipe :)
The way this recipe works is awesome: the bacon wraps around the bannock and egg create a kind of grease shield that will prevent the muffin from burning. This is not unlike the 'bacon and egg in a paper bag' trick.
You can use whatever bannock mix you want for this recipe, it doesn't really matter. This would also be great with cornbread! You can find both bannock and cornbread recipes in this channel.

What a great preparation! I bake in the backcountry on a smaller setup for less weight but you have me wanting to get a big billy can just for this recipe! Hope you return with more awesome videos.

Sure buddy, here you go. This is the recipe I like best for making bannock:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- powdered sugar to taste
