Whether you are out camping, hiking or bushcrafting, sometimes you just need to eat on the move. This is a perfect breakfast or lunch to enjoy because it practically makes itself.
Just set down the can, fire it up and busy yourself around the camp while the savory smell of baked tuna wafts through the air. A very yummy and totally foolproof recipe. Enjoy!
If you have any questions, comments or requests, I'd love to hear form you in the comments. Please subscribe for more recipes you can make on the trail.
    Happy baking!

I was taught this by a woman at Burning Man - we had it for breakfast. She had learned it when she did her service in the Israeli army. It was really good.

Great way to cook Tuna. I've been doing it for years. I also recommend doing this with Sardines in Oil. (Tasty)
You can also do this with Anchovies but I really don't recommend it.

The best part is it gives you light, it gives you heat, the paper leaves no residue at all, and the tuna tastes great

I have 1 problem with this. Modern metal cans have a plastic coating inside of them. From my understanding it's not safe to cook in the cans.
