Hello from Denmark guys i would just say thanks for showing the world my beautiful country.. 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Thanks so much for watching, we absolutely loved our time in Copenhagen 🇩🇰
I’m from Denmark too
I’m here now and I can honestly say it is the best place I have ever visited! I’ll be visiting Tivoli Gardens after watching this video too!
You watch the hole atmosphere very well in your video. Maybe you thought people van easiely find out by themselves, but I would like to mention, that you van live much cheaper to buy Some food, even kold drinks in a supermarket and enjoy a meal or a beer at fancy locations. The locals often dø the same because they also can find it a bit expensive in coffees and restaurants. But of course sometimes you have to offer some money like for the entry to Tivoli garden
3:40 I love how 7-eleven is mentioned as a cheaper place... For locals 7-eleven is really expensive compared to other places...
Netto is probably the cheapest place to go (or supermarkets in general)
Also basically every gas station is cheaper than 7-eleven (circle-k for instance)
Also for meals use the big companies like mcdonalds or burgerking (their prices are the same all over denmark, so especially when in copenhagen, those options are quite cheap)
If you come back in the summer I would recommend Bakken and Dyrehaven, they're right next to each other. Bakken free entry them park, Dyrehaven the Royal hunting reserve, nice for a walk. Last time I was there you could hire horse drawn carriage tour.
Great video, really helped my visit
Welcome back in august!! Thank you for a lovely video!
Thank you so much 💖💖💖
Great video!
Next time don't miss out on the Botanical Gardens (Botanisk Have) and go before noon so there are fewer people. The trees and plants deaden the sounds of the surrounding city and it's such a peaceful and gorgeous place :)
Oh wow Thanks for the tips! We are sorry we missed that, definitely next time for sure 👌
I would say the metro is even better than the train, but both work really well.
Oh really? That’s good to know…we also arrived at midnight, will the metro still work at that time?
@@GoTimeTravels The metro runs through the night and so frequent you don't need a time table.
Great video.
Thanks so much 💖
Tks your great blog. Best way to travel from the airport is the metro and through out Copenhagen 😊
Thanks so much 💖 your so kind to share 🙌
Thank you for highlighting the importance of bikes in our city! It's such an integral part of our infrastructure and daily lives so anyone who don't know how to ride a bike and abide by traffic laws are bound to have an angry native yelling at them ;) hugs from Copenhagen and thanks for visiting
Our pleasure! That was exactly the point we were trying to make. I think once tourists understand than everyone can be happy 😃
Lovely Nice...
Thank you! Cheers! 💖
@@GoTimeTravels Cheers Dear...
Visit Danmark in June guys... Im a northern english man that loves it here. Spend a couple of days in kbh. But go out of the city. Rent a car and vist west Sjællands beaches travel down to møns klint and overnight there in a tent and then go over the bridge to jutland. Ribe and Vejle i cant recommend. Do Legoland Vesterhavet osw. If you like adventure try kite surfing windsurfing but its better up in the north klitmøller. Other than that go and see a concert or see some art at Louisiana. Also eat pølser med det hele. And Denmark has the best kebabs 👍
Sorry i meant i can recommend vejle and ribe omg 😂
If y'all ever in Esbjerg (a city in the west of jytland) i'll take you 2 out for a beer or two, glad y'all enjoyed our little country :)
❤
Lovely video!
Thank you so much for pointing out that we use bikes for regular daily transport XDD It can be so frustrating when tourists aren't conscious of it.
Also, if you come back in the summer and take another canal tour, be aware that young people can (and will) prank tour boats by splashing into the canal when they sail past. I think it maybe was made technically illegal.. maybe? But I wouldn't really count on a fine to discourage youngsters, if you know what I mean XD
You can also buy the Citypass or a 24-hours ticket, if you are going to use the metro and busses:
If you need unlimited access to public transport
to and from the airport and around central
Copenhagen, purchase a City Pass. Unlike the
all-zone 24-hour ticket, this ticket is valid only in
zones 1- 4 and is also available as a 72-hour
ticket. The 24-hour and 72-hour City Pass cost
80 DKK and 200 DKK respectively.
We're going to visit Copenhagen in July with my spouse, and I've already done some investigation and determined that City Pass Small for 96 hours is the right one for us. However, I couldn't find any info on how to use the trains as what I've gathered the seats are always numbered and no numbered seats are included in city pass? Probably a dumb question, but I just want to make sure we don't act stupid in trains and sit where we shouldn't :D
Dont worry. No number seats for the s-train lines or metro witch is what u gonna use in the Copenhagen arear. Hint u Can also use your pass for the boatbus (habor bus) - recomended 😀
@@thomaspedersen5691 Thank you, already knew of the harbour buses and will surely take advantage of it when going to Reffen :)
Helpful video, thanks. How many days would you recommend when visiting for the first time?
I think 4 days is perfect. 3 May also be good enough, we spent 3 but we could be slower travellers than the norm. I would book 4 to be safe.
Depending on where you are gonna stay in copenhagen, it often easier/faster to take the metro from the airport. the train only stop at copenhagen central station and nørreport, unless you are staying really close to these it, the metro is often faster. especially because of you'd often have to wait for the train, while the metro departs every couple of minutes.
sum up: train is faster if you're staying near where the trains stop, and you're are lucky you dont have to wait for it. metro is often faster cause you dont have to wait for it, and there is a bigger chance of a metro station near where you stay. the tickets are the same price, as you buy tickets for zones, that work in all public transport
Yeah we have spring 🌱 but just two hours a year, the summer 🌞 is 6 hours tho😊
🤣🤣🤣
You take the metro from the airport to Kongens Nytorv. And from Kongens Nytorv you can get anywhere through the metro. I say this as a regular tourist from the Faroe Islands
Wow thanks for sharing 👌👌
@@GoTimeTravels 👍
May and June is the best months.
☀️ 😎
Copenhagen safety: Don't walk out on the bike paths 🤣
Glad that you seemed to like Copenhagen.
Haha actually that’s true, the only danger is waking in bike lanes 🤣🤣
DOT Stands for “Your public transport” in danish
Cool, thanks for letting us know…👍
Next time you are in Copenhagen, you should book a table at the restaurant HØST and go for the 5 course menu with a Wine menu to.
It might be a little on the the expensive side 1000kr what is about 150$ but it will be the best money you spend on the hole trip.
5:26 The thing about tips being taxed does not seem true... I think that most tips in general (especially cash) does not get registered (so no tax)
Denmark I'd so much more than Copenhagen, and you should try it, cheaper too.
Will definitely visit more of Denmark on our next visit. 👍
In Denmark the people in Restaurants or - McDonalds (No McJobs) are paid a reasonable salary, so they don't live from the tips. We have strong Unions that see to that. But you are able to find less expensive places, as also coffee, in places around.
Uhmmm ... It IS possible to buy tickets on the busses in Copenhagen! But it's cash only! And remember: We don't use the euro in Denmark! Some drivers MIGHT take euros, but they are not expected to do it!
An alternative is to buy a visit Copenhagen card. It can be purchased in the airport or at the tourist information in Copenhagen.
someboby want summer and somebody wants xmas
Super😅
Thank you 🙏
Denmark is SO much more than CPH. And prices are not as big as in CPH. Explore the rest of the country. You won't regret it :)
We definitely plan to, we will return and explore 💯
most big places you can use euro
Oh ok, we didn’t know this…
May through September. Metro is better than train from the airport faster and runs more frequently.
Other than that 3 great vids
Depends where you are going.
Well it isnt entirely true that you cant purchase tickets on the busses. You just have to pay in cash(That it is much more expensive is another matter)
Hey guys . If you ever come to DK again, give a call and I'm happy to show you another DK ..
That’s so sweet, thank you so much 😊 your very kind 💖
You can buy ticket on the bus, but only with cash.
Yes our problem was we had no cash 😞
Guy's " Coffee lover and Burger king" , doesnt match...🙂 and regarding visiting.... late august-early september is amazing, the colours that time of year is just wow.. thank you for visiting regardless ..lool
127kr for 3 Taco, fanme nej. Kan få 2 durum for de penge..
Yes, we thought it was expensive tacos
If you travel with a male companion, it is customary in Copenhagen to buy him a large ice-cold beer...🍺😏
🤩👍🤩👍
@@GoTimeTravels Trust me, it will be the cheapest thing on the trip after she's been to all the thrift stores and interior design stores..🤣
Hai guys❤you reji from India🇮🇳
Jikes17 euro for only 3 tiny tacos, 20euro for 1 beer...
The tacos was really expensive, but it was 2 beers for €20
@@GoTimeTravels Ah ok thx my bad, that was little better
I did spot several places in Reffen which advertised 3 tacos for under 100kr. I wonder if @GoTimeTravels got something extra in theirs.
Why the fuck would you eat 7/11 and burger King when visiting another country? 😅
Because of several possible reasons. A) Conveniency, B) Tired and don't want to use extra energy on thinking what the heck everything is when you have familiar options, C) Because you can, not every second needs to be spent by only eating local stuff.
Thank you. Everyone expects a tourist to eat and drink local food every single meal of their trip. It’s a ridiculous expectation and not realistic at all.
Idiotic comment.
@@GoTimeTravels haha sure kusse.
