Thanks for this video, very inspiring - I would love to visit Copenhagen now!
Loved the tour of Copenhagen! This could be a series? Would love a similar guide to London or other places in UK too 😃
Ohhh good idea!
Pottery, wonderful food and beautiful museums. You did this so well and your trip was wonderful to watch.
Brilliant video, thanks for sharing your break away and all the lovely pottery stories.
Crazy. I take classes at Yonobi, so it was pretty unexpected to see you walking around in my classroom 😂
What a great vlog, guide to Copenhagen! I am this close to booking a flight there 🫣
If you get a chance to come back to Denmark, I would recommend visiting Guldagergård in Skælskør. If you go, pay attention to the stones in the sidewalks in the town center 😄I won't claim that you can spend more than a day in Skælskør, but it should be worth a day trip ^^
This is great! I visited last year & had an amazing time but missed ALL of these places (apart from Louisiana). Will definitely have to return & check out these ceramic studios. ❤
Your pronunciation is pretty good. I am impressed you have learned the Ø sound, as in Arhøj. English speaking often freeze, when they see one of these: Æ, Ø and Å. I will suggest people who want to have a taste of Danish to learn these 3 sounds (Y might be a good idea too). These 4 sounds are actually easy to learn, you can learn them from Google Translate.
It is basically impossibly to learn Danish in a short time. I am told that "D" has 17 sounds in our language. From a normal D, it can be soft, very soft, and silent. "G" is also “impossible”.
A Scottish Ambassador to Denmark, said years ago, that Denmark is a clan. I wonder if it is the language that does it.
Try CPH at in the summer, it is another "kettle of fish".
What a delightful video. And a unique way of presenting my hometown. Thank you.
We do have a "Pottery Museum" in the, not so decently named town of Middelfart, on the Island of Fyn, by the way!
Thank you so much! I think this will make the perfect vacation for my daughter and I! I’m a ceramicist and she’s an artist who is currently working in glass, blowing, casting, etc.! We are also both foodies, so again, thank you! P.S. I enjoy ALL of your videos!!!
Oh god you’re both going to love Copenhagen. If you go in the warmer months you can swim in the river!
If you are in to glass blowing, then the islamd of Bornholm (danish island) is the perfect place to visit! So many incredible glass artists have studios on that island 😊
Thank you so much of this point of view! Very interesting! Yonobi will be deffinetly on my must visit list on June. Thank you again!
What a lovely tour of Copenhagen. Now I want to go. Im vegan so it looks like there are options there. So beautiful the ceramic shops. Your voice is also very soothing..fits the esthetic 😊
Haha, the end! what a fun lil fieldtrip. Thanks for making a vido about it. It was so fun to watch.
Honestly that intro took an embarrassingly long time to record
First time I'm watching your channel. I used to be a hobby potter and I deeply miss the touch of clay. Loved this Copenhagen trip video and definitely would love to spend a week there.... Greetings from Malaysia👋🏻
Louisiana on a rainy day so lovely ❤
Loved this tour. Thank you! I’m planning a visit to Denmark next year so I will walk in your footsteps then. Just wonderfully inspiring.
Yay!! Enjoy it - it’s honestly amazing
Great video, thank you, feel very inspired to go there! So generous of you to share your research, recommendations and tips - much appreciated
why can't I go there, I've been to Copenhagen many times, but never saw anything like this
It's fine.. We Love when people try to speak Danish.. We see it like you care to take the time to try to learn.. We know it's So hard and do Not get offended when you try.. :)
Great video, I like this style!
Thanks! Felt very different editing it!
If you want to eat at Noma you need to return later this year because it closes when the calendar says 2025.
I know! It’s ok, I’ll go to whatever the number 1 restaurant in the world is at the point where I can actually make it happen 😅💸
@@MaeCeramics Trust me. You would love Noma but Alchemyst will blow your mind! It´s a performance art as well as world class innovative cuisine. 50 course meal! One mind-blowing dish after the other. Also sure you would love "Reffen", authentic streetfood from around the world in a setting of small shops next to the canal, so you can take a dip or a drink between meals. Had the best fish and chips ever there! Loved the "feel" of this video.
I am VERY surprised that Sandra Davolio was not on your list !
You should go to Bornholm...of you are into pottery and glass and some such craft.
Ohhh good tip - will do some research! Thanks!
What a brilliant vidio if I ever get enough money together I will go there thanks loving your vids
Recommendation: Per Bo Ceramics ☺
You should have gone to noma ,as it is closing of not closed
denmark is the pork capital of the world.. but nice that you found plenty of things to eat 😇
Glad you got to see Copenhagen for other than the Nyhavn/Strøget/Tivoli-tours - most Copenhageners rarely ever go to those places and stick to Nørrebro, Vesterbro, Nordvest etc. where all the small and local shops and dining places are.
