+The Loam Ranger obviously there are many more lines. Just trying to highlight the main ones I know or have seen. That gap jump @aido_was_here does on gnarly rock is one i hadnt seen for example. That dude can ride! Learned so much riding with him this past summer. Appreciate the viewership as well from youtube mtb royalty Loam Ranger! Thanks for the support!
I love how you analyzed different lines you can take. There’s one section that I haven’t had the courage to try but this gives me a new perspective on how to get down.
Such a good vid. Me and my lad were looking at Schleyer and looked at this vid at lunch before we did it. He launched the first gap bcos he saw it on this vid and he cleaned the entire trail. Such a great informative video.
Great job with the vids and lines man. I lived there for 2 years and found out half this stuff the hard way. Plus you showed me lines I never even noticed etc. Can't wait to come back for crankworx and try some new lines! Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching man! Glad to help out too. Funny but in making these vids Ive noticed so many other lines id love to try as well! Its so cool and i was very lucky this past summer to be able to ride with so many great riders who all showed me the lines. The park is so cool that way, eh?
Awesome to nerd over line choices, speed variations and what not. There is definitely a niche for these more analytical videos. I look forward to seeing more, particularly on trails outside the park.
Thanks man! Good to be back. I didn't have a computer for a while there so couldn't do anything with all the footage I was amassing. Thanks for the support.
Yeah I love these closer look series! Would be cool to add a new trail to it! It's been a while now! I really like the different angles and how you can solve the features! Would be cool to see some other trails once in a while! Goat's Gully would be extremely n1! Cheers
oh man no doubt eh? I've done a rim on this trail for sure. Plenty of nasty rocks just waiting to catch you out. That said, I can't stop riding it. Its too good. Thanks for watching Sean!
These videos are sick tutorials! They're going to be my study packs before coming over. Some of those drops are going to take some mind control not to bottle it!
Great vid as always!! My favourite trail in the park. I spy a 40 on the Demo? How do you compare it to the BoXXer? 3:50 there is another line on rider's right, you end up basically riding/floating over those sideways roots and avoiding the big rock in the centre (and the square edges after it), it opened up a lot this year with people riding it more. It also sets you up perfectly for the left/right hander before the next drop. It can be rough if you don't get your front tire in the right spot before the rooty bit. The gap your buddy takes in the rock garden is impressive! Video doesn't do it justice. There's an even bigger gap (same landing but higher take off) that you can see Remy Metallier or Lee Jackson do in their Whistler edits -- extreme consequences for getting it wrong!
Man I love Schleyer too. It truly is one of the sweetest rides out there. Good eye! Not my Demo sporting the 40. That was a Trek Session I was riding. Another sick ride that is way above my pay grade on the bike. Regarding that line, unfortunately not once did I see anyone do that line so my confidence level was low, but I do recall having a quick scan and wondering if possible? Man there are so many sweet lines up there. I've seen the 'Remy' line in some of the sickest video edits I've ever seen. Getting that move wrong wouldn't be pretty... @aido_was_here makes it look relatively easy in this vid!
+MnM Videos you wont be disappointed with schleyer! Camera in this edit was a hero4 black at 4k 24fps for the most part and its mounted just under my visor. Its a great spot if you dont want to have to bother to much with it and you just want to ride. Thanks for checking out the video!
That first drop under the gondola is giving me nightmares. For some reason it just looks terrifying to me. Which line is easier, the left to flat or right to transition? I can do the other 2 drops no problem...
I think the left to flat is easier. I went OTB on the gondola drop right side 2 years ago... snapped my radius and ulna. it's really not that hard but you have to keep your speed or your back wheel can hit the rock and buck you, which is what happened to me.
Man these are so good!
+The Loam Ranger love your content too! Appreciate the shout out dude!
Thanks! I'm really liking this whole series -- so incredibly helpful to see the different line choices.

Loving the different perspective camera angles, it really nails home how steep some of those drops are
+Thomas White good to hear cuz! Thanks for watching!
Definitely my favourite trail when connected with Lower Whistler/Rock City
+Bugattilover39 that is probably my favourite combo as well. Literally has it all in one epic descent. Jonesing hard for it...
hands down the best whistler videos!
Appreciate the support and vote of confidence! :-)

Clap clap for the intense details. Hahaha
Whistler is calling! Awesome man.
+JF Rides i think there are like 114 days left til opening day! Or there abouts. LoL
Whitesnake2 hahaha NICE!
Awesome to nerd over line choices, speed variations and what not. There is definitely a niche for these more analytical videos. I look forward to seeing more, particularly on trails outside the park.
this dude has some sick edits!
Thank you my friend!
Another wicked video Jamie!
Love the detail you provide of the tracks. Go pro doesn't do it justice tho! As you're aware!
Yewww
Dude - when you hit that rock gap. Man I'll never forget that. I had no idea that was even a line. Incredible. Bring on Summer 2018!!!
Whitesnake2 i thought that was the only line there? (;
Yea I'm keen for this summer!
Ha! Just send it! Love it dude!
Thanks, Awesome work! That makes me both super excited and a little terrified of our trip to Whistler later this year :)
Its good to see your videos again
Thanks man! Good to be back. I didn't have a computer for a while there so couldn't do anything with all the footage I was amassing. Thanks for the support.
Love the format of the series!
thank you for your support!
Best tech trail in the park :)
+thaaad definitely one of them. Its certainly one of my favourites!

+Kris Gonzalez thanks Gonzo! Summer 2018. Lets do it up again!
If I come to Whistler someday , you are my trailguide :-)
+mc73 good to hear. Definitely come check out Whistler. Place rules! Thanks for watching!
This video helps very good, to ride the trail!
+VL Freeride hope it does help! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tips I like the video
On "Big Drop" there is a smooth roll line on the far right (looking down the trail, of left looking back up the trail).
It's just more fun today to drop it!
Cool video man. Really slick editing. 😎
+karL ish thanks for the support!
Videos are great Jamie!
+Mary Crowe thanks so much for watching aunt Mary! You should see it out here this last week. More than 2m of snow in 7 days!
taking "big drop" on the right makes it a lot smaller, can also be rolled pretty smoothly
At 3:45 option B is an absolute wheel abuser. I don't think I got down that once this year without a nice clank to the rim😂
oh man no doubt eh? I've done a rim on this trail for sure. Plenty of nasty rocks just waiting to catch you out. That said, I can't stop riding it. Its too good. Thanks for watching Sean!
Nice

+nick heasman dude you got it! It's all about working up to features and knocking them down once you are ready!
Whitesnake2 these vids are gonna help me ready much quicker, nice one
+nick heasman I hope they help man. At least give you more confidence going into it!
+nick heasman pleasure man! Bring on the summer!
What a great idea keep them coming! Sub'd
Thank you! A Closer Look: Upper Whistler DH should drop tomorrow! Thanks for the support.

Great video, hopefully going to hit this trail this bike park season. Quick question, what camera do you film with and where is it mounted?

Hahah this guy was ayden i've met him too there 😂
There's snow at whistler right now how you make the video
+Benny Goldstein the footage is all from the past summer. I didn't have a computer to edit until recently.
