I like the format of this vid, nice work.
It might be worth putting in some subtitles for your friends, so we can understand what they're saying!
+BCpov thanks for watching man! Subtitles are in the works and incoming shortly. Slight oversight on my part.
Subtitles complete. Great suggestion. Thanks for that and congrats on 9000 subs!
Another tip could be putting a bit more commentary.😀 Something I need to work on myself, nice vid.
Great tip. I've tried to increase the commentary since this video, but at the end of the day I am limited by what I actually said out there on the trail. I didn't have any clue what I was going to do with my footage as I was making it. Going forward, I'll definitely have a better plan. Thanks for the feedback! And thanks for watching.
Not even sure some of those instructions could help me ride some of that knar! Wow awesome
+JF Rides you'd be surprised what you can do dude!
I like when you show the line choices and then show a side view of a rider hitting it. Its awesome man gives me lines I would probably never find on my own! Keep making the awesome vids!
This is one of your best videos yet. Your skills both on the bike and in editing are improving!
+Jennifer White thank you so much for watching. You've been a fan since the beginning. Stay tuned! More coming soon.
Love this format! This format would be a great companion to many of your other videos. I love how you break down the options for each segment, if I was traveling back to Whistler I would totally use your videos as a tool to prepare.
+Andrew White thanks cuz! I got plenty more to come. And let me know when you'll be back out for a visit!
Never seen your vids before. This is how to do a trail video done right. The format, options on the trail, etc. Loved it.
Thanks for the feedback and viewership!
love your vids, they are so good!
thanks man! Appreciate the support.
Love the new video overlays showing instructions/ paths
+Thomas White thanks cuz! Trying something new with this video to see what the response is. Before my first trip to Whistler, I certainly would have liked to have had a video like this to study so when I got there I wouldnt have been sooooo shocked at the gnar! Thanks for watching.
*Yay this video was uploaded on my birthday*
Dude nice one! That’s a great vid. Really shows how gnarly the features you ride are. As a total noob gives me a much larger appreciation for your skills
+terence tsai thanks dude! some of those features are insane indeed, but that makes the trail a real challenge and hence a real enjoyment to ride.
Awesome vid!
Awesome video glad to see you uploading again
+Brendan Sytsma thanks man. Glad to be back!
Nice video Jamie!
I love it!
Really shows in deep in depth (;
+Aido question is how deep bro! You are lucky you walked away!
We will be there again this year, will definitely hit that... Thanks for the tutorial vid.
+Jim Butterfield have fun with it and thanks for watching! In Deep is such a great trail.
Cool stuff man! I like the line choice breakdowns!
Thanks for watching!
Love the fog scene. Nice editing.
+Kris Gonzalez next summer bro! We'll do a scouting mission down this one. See if you wanna take the plunge! Joe loved the trail! Yes that is Joe from high school btw!
Sick!
+ratcamaro thanks for watching!
That was a sick video man you should definitely do more like that!!
+D Sawyer i will for sure! People seem to like the format. Many thanks for the feedback.
nice, would love to see some more of these in deep videos on some technical trails
+Romero Steinhauser plans in the works as we chat. Many thanks for watching.
Favorite video yet. Love the line choice edits with the white line, the talk throughs, and the slow down to analyze. Really shows how gnarly that trail is. It’s one of my favorites. Hope the wrist can handle it next summer.
Has Whistler hired and/or started paying you yet?
Dude! Thanks for watching and commenting! I hope your wrist is ready by the summer too! Cause we gotta dominate this one! And no... Whistler hasn't hired me. LoL
Wicked cheers dude
+Keith Moon thanks for watching keith!
Nice job Jamie!
+Mary Crowe thanks aunt mary! What did you think of the fire lines?
awesome ride! keep uploading good contents like this, one more subscrider !
+BIKER 38 awesome! Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
Riding with Hayden 👍
+onecutmedia.com Aiden! @aido_was_here. That guy shreds gnar for breakfast and has a great "just send it" attitude! Hope he makes it back for next summer. Thanks for watching Rick.
Nice, ill need to spend some time on this trail, i always seem to pass it by, fear of the unknown!
Brian this one is a gem in the rough literally. Definitely beats that section of blue velvet that you pass by to hit In Deep (or Captain Safety). You won't be disappointed!
Yep going to man up and go through it THX.
Brian Goyeau I'll see you there!
Yep i'll be the guy sweating it out!!
Definitely won't be the first or last to experience that emotion up there before dropping in. In Deep plays with people's heads! Cheers bro!
Love this video format... I really want to try that rock roll on the first feature but don't have the mentality to commit properly yet.
+hobmarg k hear you on that one! Both options are gnar and both very intimidating. Easily the toughest section mentally on the trail. I wish i had some words of wisdom to give to get you over the hump there but unfortunately I do not! Keep trying!?! Good luck with it next summer! I hope you get it!
Thanks bud. I've looked at it and watched people a few times, I think I know what to do and will be fine (especially on a DH bike), just need to sack up :). I find the middle chute option no problem as well as Triple Hump and the rest of the trail.
Keep up the great work on these videos.
thanks for the feedback Hobmarg. I really do appreciate it. I reckon if you've got it all nailed you'll be fine on that one feature. But man I hear you! It sure is intimidating.
nice job dude , In Deep is my aim next year !
Its a great trail with plenty of line options for the most part. My advice would be to take it easy the first 5x or so to just get a lay of the land and the features. Some are quite intimidating to say the least. Thanks for watching!!!
yes , different line choosing is the one of the fun part in MTB !
easy way and technical way is 2 kind of fun. Enjoy
+ki882010 couldnt agree more!
Whitesnake2 why said that? Umah..I thought safety ride is the most important point. It will bring MTB riding more fun! 😃
You might say it was an 'in deep' look at In Deep ;)
Your videos keep getting better and better, great job. I see you were on a Trek and not the demo some of the time, did it replace the demo or is it just a rental?
Many thanks for the feedback. I do really appreciate it. I've been learning lots about editing/SFX etc so I am glad to hear its paying off on the videos! Regarding the Trek, you are very observant! I was riding a Session for a bit this summer. What a bike!
just found these videos , after being introduced to the tech gnar at WBP last year , can't wait to get back armed with this info to hit them again !@#$% , goats gully next please with a how to get round the steep rock tight corner at the top
that right hander is the toughest right hander on the whole mountain I'd say! It gets everyone! Should be more videos soon I hope!
Awesome one dude!
Do you usually ride clipless or flat pedals?
+Edeljokaa thanks for watching! When I ride DH, I ride on flats and when I ride cross country I'll ride clipped in. Not there yet on clipping in in the park. Too scary for the time being.
Yeah same here... However I'm thinking about converting my aggressive hardtail to clipless.
+Edeljokaa that sounds like a great idea! It always feels so much faster clipped in.
I always do the ladder gap but never do triple hump. There’s always next season, I guess!
That ladder gap is intimidating. I haven't gotten my head around it quite yet. Are there any other features in the Bike Park you could compare it to to give me an idea of how it is? I mean the gap on Dirt Merchant is way bigger but doesn't seem as intimidating for some reason (maybe cause of the higher speeds?). Triple Hump is very doable - just start by creeping as slowly as possible down it and you'll be fine! Thanks for watching!
I don’t know what the closest gap that’s a similar size would be, but if I had to guess, the little No Joke gap might be smaller, but similar. The bridge gap at the start of Crank It Up might be kind of similar, too.You can clear the A-Line jumps so you’ll be fine, just get a tow in.
+Bugattilover39 that is great intel. Much appreciated. I just gotta give er on that ladder gap and just get er done. Its on the list for next summer right near the top.
What did you use to get that filter and lighting.
Just the rain itself and a gopro.
Ah, beautiful conditions
