This is another tech trail I never got around to hitting last year but defiantly this year. I’ve hit lower before but never got to connecting the 2 together.
I hear you - lower is way more ridden it seems. Its gotta be that fade-away drop; everyone loves it! Upper Whistler DH is pretty great too as you can see but as others have pointed out it frequently loses out vs an Upper Joyride or Schleyer in the final mix. Regardless, Upper Whistler DH gets more fun the more you ride it and it also gives you access to French Connection which is a pretty neat steep chute in combo with some steep rock rolls. Isn't it though!?! That roll is LONG and STEEP and as you can see from the dude who crashes, it can get hairy if you go in too fast!

no not yet. Thing is it's a flow trail so it's not really conducive to A Closer Look. Maybe the rock drop?

I know eh Cuz?! Devin was cooking with oil on that one. Think he went into the roll way too fast and then there was no time to adapt at all. Good thing he bounced off that wall instead of going over it!
