Reminds me of the time when a cop pulled me over in Calgary after tailing me and had me for THREE separate speeding violations. I was as polite and contrite as you were in this video. He comes back to my car and says "since you seem like a nice person, I'm not gonna give you the three speeding tickets. Instead, I'm just gonna give you this seat-belt violation ticket" (a measly $25 fine). Like an idiot I said "but I was wearing my seat-belt!" and then immediately put my hand over my mouth for saying something that stupid. He smiled and said "I said.... INSTEAD of the three speeding tickets.... I'm JUST going to give you this seat-belt ticket.... follow me?"
I nodded and thanked him. Went home, wrote a check for the fine amount, and mailed it to the courthouse. Wasn't dragging THIS guy into court!

It's unfathomable to me how US cops will shoot you dead for putting your hand down by your waist and most of the country says "yes justified he was reaching" man I do all sorts of weird shit when I get nervous I can't control it (._.)

I have been pulled over many times and its almost like cops are lonely. If you shoot the shit with them a little bit they usually let you get away with anything. Most of the cops are like "well you are cool so I am gonna be nice and let you off with a warning. Drive safe." Once I got pulled over for doing 70 in a 35 mph zone. The cop gave me a ticket for not using my blinker when I pulled over haha. Im pretty sure with that much over its reckless driving charge.
