I will never use vvivid again. There was almost no play and when I did my hood it pulled a chunk of paint up. I went with Avery, it cold stretched well and I had zero issues. With the vvivid I ruined 15 ft. The Avery looks amazing
🤣I just watched this video after trying to wrap the roof of my 2017 f30 in Vvid Carbon fiber and needless to say I was also having some trouble with the vinyl. I was having the same issue with slack in a corner, would work it around in circles just to end up with the same slack. Mine didn’t turn out so great and has a lot of wrinkles so now I think I’m just gonna take it off and retry
Aww man I know that struggle is real real! I was surprised just how tricky this roof was. But that is the good thing about vinyl is you can always give it another go
I have 2017 F30.. wrapping the roof carbon fiber was a bitch. Use auto silicone on the antannae... I used 3m "waterproof" adhesive and now I have a SOS malfunction. Trust me, silicone that fin. The original adhesive was rubberized. Looks great!
Man I was not expecting it to be that hard for real haha. And that's crazy! I did end up going with a silicone adhesive just following Kies Motorsports advice, but man I didn't realize how much of a problem that could cause! I appreciate it man!

What size vinyl is needed to wrap the f30??
