I am trying to get in to this business and i watched your video and it's making me more interested and i was wondering if i can contact you by email i would really like to take full training
Hi my dream is to open a car wrap shop I have 0 experience I catch things so fast I don’t like online courses is there a way I can learn if you know someone in AZ I can work and get experience I would be appreciated
What temp you using
Where can I get that exact same color and wrap? I have a 93 cb7 coupe accord
As someone who wraps for a living, this video is one of the best out there, nice work mate 🤙🏼
@Marcus Glover I reccomend Cheetah, great price for a very quality vinyl. Comes with a protective layer on the gloss and it seams very well
@@ggcutts I’m wrapping my car with cheetah wrap lmaoooo
I feel like I can wrap my whole truck after watching 10min of this video
I'd love to know if you did and if so, how'd it work out? I'm here cause I'm considering wrapping my own car.
Hahahaha I was thinking the same thing but let us not fool ourselves, the better the person is, the easier it looks...
I’m still gonna try it, best of luck with yours
not as easy as yall think🤞🏽 takes practice and a few cars to actually perfect them & every car can be different .. remember alot of people add stuff to their cars such as body kits, spoilers... you also need to know proper parts to use knifeless tape for the seams .... its not very easy btw some materials are very hard to work with!!
@@AstekStreetMob it’s like that for everything g, don’t matter if it’s wrapping a car or riding a bike it ain’t gonna be good if you don’t learn first, nobody said it’s easy
I am just starting to look at getting into wrapping, and I can for sure say after this video it just makes me that much more ambitious in trying. Thank you for this and all the wrap job videos!
So I'm in the process of wrapping my 2018 WRX myself (I live in CO grew up in CA like 30 mins from where you guys are at) and these videos are def a huge help and really looking forward to more appreciate you Daniel
This video helped sooo much. I've been getting into the wrap business and plan on opening my own shop. The laying process is pretty self explanatory but I feel like no one shows you how to do corners and trim vinyl. Please keep making more videos like this
Any updates?
would love to host you in canada, just so you can teach us a thing or two!
Learn from ck wraps he’s right in your area
Birdy!!!!!!!! Whats up bro you and premium should definitely colab! BIG FAN OF BOTH OF YALL from TEXAS I SAY WHATS UP.
I've been looking at several of these types of videos, and this is the first one that actually addresses the tension and release points! Fantastic video!
Big advice with 3M Satin wraps is that you don't want to heat too much and pull the film or tack anywhere in the middle before pulling or you'll have glue dots under the wrap.
If a vehicle has a lot of rock chips on the hood. What do you recommend? Satin Black or Matte Black?
Do the rock chips affect it?
@@J__7777I’d recommend sanding down the entire hood
No wrap experience and had so much difficulty with the fender on my '12 WRX and this guy just did it like it was nothing lol Definitely was amazing advice that I can use though to rewrap it, and finally complete the other fender also.
Been wrapping for about a year and always learning this helped and was filmed and explained very well.
You are a natural bro, your presentation is very clear and precise, thank you very much
You really nailed this tutorial mate 👌🏼 very well spoken and extremely informative. I just have one question, what do you use to clean the panels before you lay the vinyl?
Dude this is the most descriptive best wrapping video I seen so far whoever out there making videos needs to watch this one first. Super informative, You literally make me feel confident in doing this based on your information
Glad it helped!
Honestly no one shows how to do corners except you! Good work!! 👌🏽
Very skilled. Explained the process very well. All those minute details will help a beginner wrap.
Dude I’ve been watching wrapping videos all shift and I can honestly say that your video is by far the best one I’ve come across and it’s a shorter video compared to the others and yet I feel like you’ve taught us a lot. I truly appreciate you taking the time to teach us for free, your work is amazing and I love how you take your time with it. I took several notes specifically revolving around “relieving tension, working on corner to corner, and letting the film sit/form where it wants to is KEY to a great job” I just subbed and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Ps. I will wrap my e46 coupe soon and might start a channel for it with some friends. You gave me a good confidence boost so now I can go into it with some knowledge instead of being lost and confused. Ily man ✌️
Bro you explain things very well. Much appreciate! Great video.
This is the most in depth video I've seen thank you I feel like I can wrap now
Thanks so much for this video! I've been working with vinyl from the sign business since it first came out in the 80's but have never done a wrap and am fascinated by them. I found several of your techniques very helpful for conventional sign vinyl applications as well. You're attitude and drive are admirable, and I know you will do incredibly well!
I hate this video!! Makes it look simple and when I'm wrapping the inside of my car, its my whole life that im questioning... Thank you mate for making me sad 😂😂
I just got my first car a 2006 chrysler 300c and im looking into wraping it I'm going to make sure I study all of your wrapping videos so i really dont mess up!!
youre a good teacher man. felt like i actually understood what you were saying
Lots of knowledge...excited to try my hand at it
Thank you for your time
I've watched 7 videos on wrapping. I don't need to watch 8 bc you have done an excellent job. 5 STARS
Just bought the taillight pieces for my 2019 Nissan Titan with a felt tip squeegy I have never done any thing like this before but I have tinted windows and it seems similar!! Love your content if this goes well I might try to wrap my whole truck !!!!
I’ve been wrapping my interior for practice I do want to own a wrapping business in the future ans this seemed to help me with my struggle with the corners !
This is by far the best how to wrap video 👌
Im a beginner in this field. My father is teaching me what he knows about the Vinyl Wrap business. I helped him wrap a boat, and as a beginner it was extremely difficult. But I'm learning. The way you go into detail about the process is extremely helpful for me to learn the basics.
I'm trying to get into the wrap industry and I've learned almost everything from your videos 🔥
Hey , New edge
I'm also trying to get into the wrap industry
can I ask where are u located.
Dave
Id like to see an Arlequin wrap with all the glossy glowish wrap colors ...skimmin' to another level
Excellent demo and explanation 👌👍🏼 Thanks for making the video!
also completely agree, you can watch all the vids you want but you need experience and to learn from mistakes to learn how the material works in diff situations
Great instruction! I have a 1938 Dodge Brothers car, and have some woodgrain printed vinyl to put on the window reveals and dashboard. What is the best way to cover the window reveals?
Thank you so much for this vid guys! Appreciate it! Cheers from Czech republic.
thanks for sharing this fender video. I will definately will to this technique on a current car I am working on. thanks again
Just finished wrapping the first part of my interior as my first wrap job. I have worked with sign/shirt vinyl for years and used some of the techniques you did here but messed up how the vinyl reacted to heat a few times. Wish I saw this video first as your explanation and examples were spot on.
Any idea of around the house objects one can use in place of the heat gun?
THANK YOU for doing this video. You answered a lot of my questions. Just one thing though.., on cleaning and maintaining the finished vinyl wrap application, do you just wash or wash and wax or apply polymer polishes or what?
So I’ve watched probably too many videos trying to learn cuz ima wrap my first car in a few days and the way you explain things is freaking perfect. I was nervous but I’m feeling pretty confident now thank you!
How did it go? was is hard cause I wanna wrap mine soon.
I’ve been doing mine and it’s going horribly. I am a complete beginner.
@@chereefinley 3 weeks on, hows it going now?
@@jamieeyre4382 I’m waiting on my third order of vinyl but I’ve finally gotten the hang of it. I am only able to work on it on the weekends so it’s going slowly. It will be no where near professional but you can only see the mistakes if you go looking for them.
Hey guys I’m a female installer and have been wrapping for 6 years it’s not for everyone but if you need help hit me up! 🙏🏽
Definitely a really great tutorial. You are a natural teacher. I’m ready to start just by watching this one vid😂
Thanks for the feedback, new tutorials dropping soon!
Keep making these vids! Love'em!🙏
Amazing 👏 you are super cool..thanks I try wrapping my car and then I show you how I learned ideas from you..
Thank you for the video!! I have so much confidence in doing it now💙 and also I wanted to ask can I use a hair dryer to heat?
Lots of over stretch. And of course that would work when you take everything off. Skills is where you find a way to work around it when taking off certain unit means thousands of dollars of recalibration.
Bad habit of relieve cut pointing towards a curve, that can turn an over stretched area to rip that relieve cut deeper into a corner. The correct way is to cut into a U shape away from the corner.
Great video Now this is why I love your channel keep up the great work
More videos like this! Love your guys work!
I think youre the best , youre explaning verry slowly and i understand what you do thanks again
Great video. I will try on a car I just bought. This was the best video I found. Thanks!
maaan you make it look easy!!!! great video!!!
i realy like this kind of videos ! I try wrapping myself with the interior trim in my wrx 2020 and it was very fun. I'm interest in wrapping and its realy fun to do but i don't have money to spend in it right now because i have to pay the car first.. so learn how to do it is perfect for now before i start to spend in it.
Can’t wait for more in depth videos like this and the wrap courses !! Great work Danny boy 💯
you make this look so easy lol ive been wrapping my car for the past two days and it is way more difficult than I was expecting it to be
Same man… all I want to do is wrap the hood of my jet ski and in im frustrated bc it’s so hard and I can’t get it right…. and this guy makes it look too easy..
thx for helping/guiding us, its helps a lot
This is awesome. Love how you go in detail and step by step. Thank you 🙏🏼
Been trying to get into wrapping I would definitely sign up for a wrap workshop 💯💯
This is very helpful for a DIY-ER like myself.
Just found your channel thank you for the lessons very informative it helped me a lot
Love this, I thought you would avoid stretching as much as possible, but it seems like you stretch more than other wrappers, why is this? Is this so you can get the material to shrink back into the corners?
Really informative, you explained things really well.
Best tutorial ive seen in youtube now i feel i can do my whole car in a hour🤣
You are such a good teacher. Thank you
I wrap for living, I also always keep up with more techniques other installers use, the degree of detail is unbelievable really good job.
What vinyl brand do you use? I'm going to wrap my escalade that satin grey that comes on mercedes amg's
How much vinyl should I order for a small SUV?
This is a very useful video we'd like to see, look into wrap my truck. Teach us more please, like Heat Gun vs Torch, different kinds of wrap and how they react differently, and how to work around those differences?
Very helpful video, appreciate bro. Keep up the good work!!!
thanks for this video bro.. tomorrow i starting wrapping my car myself ❤

Can’t say that I been watching you guys since you started but I have the last few years, you guys are awesome. Wrapped my 370z a few few weeks ago wasn’t perfect but it looks good thanks to videos like this. Keep it up guys 🤟🏼
Where did you buy your material from ?
Was up guys. I’ve done some wrap on my car. But today I learn some new stuff. Just want to say. Thanks for your knowledge bro. Your good on what you do 👍🏻👊🏻🤙🏻🤟🏻🙌🏻💪🏼...... ✌🏻out
Love what you guys are doing!
Great video and tips. I'm going to attempt to wrap my smart car next month. I'm using Avery wrap. I've wrapped my motorcycle and it turned out great, so I hope the car turns out great too. Your install tips help A LOT!
Awesome tutorial, thanks man!
Bro you detailed and explain your knowledge.
Thanks for the feedback, new tutorials dropping soon!
absolutely fantastic tutorial!
Total motivation; thank you sir.
How perfect does the body work have to be? Does the wrap hide a few imperfections?
This is the video I needed, thanks! :)
To be honest you make this look extremely easy as I’m sure I can muck it up
Great video. I love how you're changing the wrap game. 😂 😂 😂 Qq can you show some detail wrap of other things like going around buttons or other type things that are more intricate and smaller. Doest even have to be car related
This is my first time hearing anything about “wrap”
I honestly did not know it was a thing
I’ve always wanted my car to be matte black and I thought that it could be spray painted. This makes so much more sense and I feel dumb lmao
More of this, please!
i like your explaining into wrapping makes it looks simple and easy to learn, i want to ask where you get your wrap or whats the good brand to get to learn how to wrap
Awesome video dude great tutorial !
Air release tool? Is it putting a pin hold in the material? Will a safety pin work or is the tool just making the center of the bubble make contact/stick to the surface while you heat around it?
Yes. We desire Wrap school !!! Thats would be awesome, especially online because We are not all from the US ) Thanks
Hello i am from israel. I am beginner in the wrapping . Nice to see this lesson. Thanx

Dude. My OCD kicked in now I feel the need to wrap my eyeglasses. Thanks for teaching
What is the color and brand on the car in your background. Love the info. Been wrapping for 10 years. Always learning something
really enjoy your tutorial, thank you
Thanks for watching
This is great bruv!
Can a car with rock chips still be wrapped? And which type of wrap shows the least of imperfections, a Satin black or Matte black?
I learned alot in 20 minutes, are you gonna show how to get under window rubber/trim as well?
Was it easier to do just your normal for gaps or would you recommend taking that yellow panel off since it was just two bolts?
Now that is a master craftsman talking. I was always confused how much to pull...
He makes it look so easy
This guy is cold with it!
This was a very good video. If I may add a couple of points. I am a newbie, so I always look at different videos to find some help for my areas of problem, it would be great that the instructor put himself in that state of mind, be himself when he started, which problems did he face, address those or the ones you've heard from other people. In this video, I would have liked to see the proper use of squeegee, the angle, the direction, and how much pressure. It's a very nice video on corners, thank you.
