Tim has had a long and interesting history with golf and golf balls...
Back in the 1950s, Tim's parents moved to a house on an island in the Thames. They actually bought the property from William Hartnell, the first actor to play Dr Who! The family created a 9 hole putting golf course on the lawn, and of course from time to time a golf ball would end up in the river. Golf balls sink, so when Tim visited the New York Toy Fair for the first time in 1992, he was very excited to discover floating golf balls! He immediately bought some to add to his collection, and also for using on the family putting course! Now, when a ball ended up in the river, it could often be fished out again with a small net on the end of a bamboo cane. Since then, he has found all kinds of unusual golf balls, a few of which he showcases here...

A tiny lifejacket, in case your golf ball lands in the water and cannot swim!
A gadget you pop in the hole, and when the golf ball lands in the hole, it then pops out again. As if golf wasn't frustrating enough already, just when you think you have got the ball in the hole... imagine if you had got a hole in one!!

I finally found his channel 😭 me and my dad used to watch him all the time but we stopped idk why but I think because we were moving to another house and I forgot his channels name for quite a while I asked my dad if he remembered his channels name he said no and I started searching for him everywhere and I finally found him🥳

Lovely! With the aid of a small drill and a scalpel for the plastic outer skin, it is possible to introduce a small quantity of lead into a golf ball, causing it to behave in an eccentric way when in flight. Well worth the effort, I can assure you. Nice one Tim! 🌟👍
