In my veiw, investment in dividend stocks are profitable on a long term when you are continously reinvesting dividend amount in the same stock.
Indeed - whatever time it may be, I would say 80% of the portfolio should be dividend paying stocks for long term.

Is there a way to copy trade top stock traders in PSX as well as in US Stocks?
No, their trades are secret and not publicly available unless they choose so.
Wali bhai I see there are lots of shares whose price is under 10 rupees. like BYCO, Flying Cement etc.
As we know launching price of a share is almost always rs 10 and company is bound to pay that value if it defaults... so what about buying those stocks?

I have not studied the stocks - I myself have a penny stock WTL, but nothing apart from this. For me, I will only go for a large stock which some good fund manager also hold as I might not be able to study the stock in full.

Salam I just saw this video and you have not covered the important aspect of the dividend and its profitability because you have simply ignore the big part of taxation...... which is 12.5% for the filer and 20% on non-filer and that will impact your profitability. Kindly cover your videos with the tax aspect because its slash your earnings.

I till have MCB in my portfolio, but in loss now. However, not selling, but accumulating some more as of now.
But whatever I do is for a long term with very low qty.

1. Dividend fund
2. Growth fund
Dividends are paid out when the company decides (or in case of mutual funds). Its not mandatory that they announce dividends - they can skip too.
CGT will only apply when you sell the asset. If you are keeping it, it will not be applied.
For the question on dividend funds vs growth - I cannot reply in the comment section as the answer would be long. Just remember, funds can skip dividends too - its not a promised return - growth funds can falter too - so risks are there in all cases as these funds heavily rely on stock market. For safer investment, you can try diversifying to money market funds in current circumstances.

There are options with PMEX, but I have not experienced it myself. I cannot endorse any platform which is illegal in Pakistan at the same time.

I would myself keep less exposure in companies which rely on government payments. I have some companies in my portfolio of such kind, but they depend a lot of how the government performs.

As I have invested only 2% of my total assets in stocks.
You can invest as much as you can. Thereâs no limitation
2% is a good amount to start with. You can increase this from now on topping up on monthly basis. Given current situation keep adding some in money market mutual finds too.

â@@WaliKhan_2k yes in future 3 years ... soon Facebook and google will remove their all apps from Iphones and iPhone will dead..all because of recent war of FB and apple due to app permission settings .Facebook will do anything to save themselves and time cook is destroying the company because of his egoistic and greedy approach .he want to control all the companies linked to mobile phones he wants everyone to work the way he wants .. things will be different if apple throw out tim cook which they should do soon
