    Hi! How did you configure your REX-C100? I’m asking because I set the SV to 200 degrees Celsius, but my hotend is reaching a much higher temperature than that, and I don’t know how to configure the more specific settings of the controller. How did you do it?

      I would recommend check the wiring is done properly and make sure you're using DC to DC SSR otherwise it will not gonna work and then check REX C100 settings, there are many tutorials on youtube on REX C100.

    Did you get a rounded geometry filament with the increasing in nozzle temperature? What was the temperature used? The heater, what is the voltage? 12V? 24V, can you tell the model? And the thermistor, what is the model? Best Regards

      I use a 12V 15A power supply, REX C100 with a DC to DC relay, and a K-type thermistor. I keep the temperature between 200 and 210 degrees Celsius to obtain the best quality rounded filament. If I increase the temperature, it breaks.

      hotend with 1.7mm nozzle (You can use 1.7 drill to make a hole in nozzle)

    Hello, I have a question. I set up a similar system at my home. I made a steel heater block and took a CNC nozzle and drilled it with a 1.7 mm drill bit. No matter what I did, I couldn't get a full round filament from the nozzle. When you make a thin strip, it becomes crooked, it does not close completely, a shapeless bar comes out. When cut thick, it does not come out of the nozzle. What should I do?

      are you extruding at 60-70c? also i would just play with the thickness a bit, ive seen people have a decent amount thicker strips than what he uses

      Set the temperature higher and if it not work make your plastic strip a few mm larger

    Does bubbles on the plastic strip because you extrude the filament faster

      Actually it was fastened, there's no problem of bubbles, do it slow so that it gets a proper round shape

      Its a normal 0.4mm nozzle but i used 1.7 drill bit to make a hole equivalent to diameter of the regular filament.

    Ur wiring diagram shows an SSR? But ur final product doesn’t? How are you wiring the heater block to get heat? I’m struggling-thanks!

      Yeah! I didn't realise to put DC to DC SSR until I wired this whole thing that's why I created a wiring diagram with SSR. Rex c100 has Relay output so you have to use SSR in order to make it work. DC to DC SSR if you're using DC heater and DC to AC SSR if you're using AC heater

      @@calebdebass3882 Yes Breme REX c100 have relay output so you need DC to DC SSR in order to heat the heating block

      I bought it for $17 from a local store that deals in DC motors and repair stuff, but you can also try to find it on AliExpress or Amazon.

      @@mrdamdam8173 If you're asking for Power supply then I would say go atleast for 10 amp power supply. This is because the motor itself requires a 12V power supply with a power rating of 3 to 5 amps, and you'll also need to power the hotend

    Is there any trick to pass the filament through the nozzle?when i try to pass it it melts

      The first few millimeters should be thinner than the nozzle, then use plier to pull it slowly until you get better grip on thicker Extruded Filament

    I bought this PET 3d filament extruder from ebay. Seller says he left all the wires in tact when he shipped it to me. It didnt come with instructions. When I powered it on, the red numbers never seem to get above 23. It doesnt seem like the nozzle is getting hot. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the machine broken?     Hello my friend, . Very sexy looking pet machine.I build a different one, works great too.but if you can take a tip from my experience.I went thru all fails 3d printing Pet.learned,it prints great at 260 h-e ..74 bec,,115 flow,and 100 speed.oh please,please dry your filament at least 30 mins. You will see the HUGE Difference.thanks.

      at 225, Pet filament caused extrusion problem for me and yes 250 is kinda over, as you can see the lot of stringing is last result. sweet spot is between 235 to 240

    dude, what is the thickness of the strip? i use 1cm for the same coke bottle, the machine does not buy it, and when I use 7 8 mm, protrusions form and hang out

      You have to find the adequate strip size and wide the back of the hotend so that the strip can easily get into it

      @@Creative3DP i mean, the flamenti I made with a 1cm strip can't get the printer, it feels thick, I think. when I try it with 7 8mm, it takes quite Decently, but sometimes there is a ripple etc. the printer also hangs out because of these. Do you have any hang-ups? How thick do you use the strip?
