Honestly, I would kind of be more interested to see how a dark-infested Alina and Nikolai rule. I'm a sucker for heroes becoming corrupt, even if it's for a short time, just full on embracing their darkness, being villains, even if they are saved later and redeem themselves. I kinda hope Season 3 would be dark-Alina, with her friends fighting to "save" her, then Season 4 being her final fight/redemption.

I love to talk to myself when watching these terrible shows in order to entertain myself because I can't find entertainment in things that people generally find them in.
She now becamr a darkling and she likes it because she smiled in the end. It seems now she lost her light powers, she now has darkness powers.
I think season 3 will be about her regaining her light powers by setting things right, and Kirigan will be back.

in the books when she kills mal she losses her powers and 100 sun summoners are born they destroy the fold she kills the darkling with a dagger of gresha steel she got back in book 1 and she does not have the powers of a darkling in its place the end of this season retcons the whole story becuase she ends up with mal who was saved by a heart render not nina zennick and not her using morzost and they go to live a happy life in the orphanage she grew up in in this they have made it were mal does not love her becuas "all magic comes with a prince" and now she has the darklings powers which im gonna be honest is the worst thing they could have done to book reader fans not only do we sip that the darkling runs ravka for a whole year befor we even see the firebird story or that he kills the people closest to alina we also dont get to see her hair turn white or her golden grisha kefta they made the ginya revelation on how she posoned the kind meaningless and they hype fights and glamor to keep the audiance wile ruining the story its bullshit and the actors are so talented im sorry they had to do this at all its just so sad even the darklings death sucked it was not as emotional as it was in the books and to add to problems who the fuck thought alinas light cant destroy nchi voya lets use a magical sword to make the crows important and also by the way he cant controle the shadow monsters so they kill his mommy funny in the books he can controle them they even carried him so it looked as though he flew with wings of shadows i missed that scene too or the time her turned nickoli into a monster after spitting darkness into him but you know they lessend that to a minor wound from the darkling becuase hey money man

Read the Books. They squished their story into this show, its such a waste. The crows dont even appear in the trilogie around Alina and The Darkling. They have their own Duologie, set two years after the Ravkan civil war.

I heard this story takes place in fantasy Russia and this coronation literally looks like a Tsar's coronation and everyone is dressed in late 19th century to early 20th century Imperial Russian clothing.
The books are based on imperial russia! Well, Ravka is based on Russia and then there are other countries rhat are based on china, amsterdam, and then the scandanavian countries like sweden
