I'm still chocked about how they managed to find the PERFECT CAST
All of their hard work paid off. The show looks amazing, the costumes, set design, vfx everything looks so well done. The world feels lived in. Its forever baffling to me how Netflix can produce high quality stuff like this and then trash like fate within months of each other lmao. Leigh created an amazing universe and set of characters, I'm happy she got to see them come to life

Ivan's actor doing the Cossack dancing! That was so fun and very impressive because trust me that is not easy to do without training! Then the camera just turns around to Fedyor's actor and "that's my boyfriend". Iconic

@@reimisan68 it’s canon! Feydor refers to Ivan as his “better half” and on their wiki pages they’re listed as each other’s love interests
I don't believe it's book canon, but they seem to be leaning on it pretty heavily in the show and it still works for their characters

As a writer I have literal dreams of that moment when Leigh walks through the set and meets her characters “in the flesh”. It’s something so incredibly touching to think of the characters that you created coming to life on screen and standing before you played by people so wonderfully. I’m not surprised she was crying, I would absolutely lose my shit in happiness.

@@hmmmmk8590 i found a site that has both the shadow and bone series, and the six of crows duology (thats the one inej/amita en jesper/kit are in :) !), i don't think i can post the link, but just google [ onlinereadfreenovel dot com ] Then you get the site and you can search for the individual books or search by author! If you like the books and can afford it, I hope you do think about actually buying the book sometime, but no pressure as I do get that books can be pretty expensive

Not only is it great for them and their work environment, but it will make for an excellent production, which so far, it definitely is. It's good to see them happy and enjoying each other. It really makes you appreciate the show even more. I hope they're all still doing great and are really happy, healthy and safe.
