I LIVE for the stunt BTS of shows/movies I love. I'm clearly obsessed because I've already seen so many of these clips on Instagram LOL
The casting for the show is so so good. Everyone has great chemistry.
The stunts are wild too. So great to see a fantasy show with some great choreography and actors who can really sell it as real. The fighting actually looks brutal and like characters are really dishing out pain. It's something I often find underwhelming in a lot of fantasy shows, especially where magic is involved but Shadow and Bone shocked me in the best possible way. Can't wait for season 2.

Ce qui me touche beaucoup c'est l'émotion de l'écrivaine des romans. Ce doit être tellement incroyable et émouvant de voir ses personnages incarnés en chair et en os par de si talentueux acteurs. C'est un accomplissement encore plus grand que de les voir bien vivant. Ce sont ses bébés après tout.

9:15 Damn the people practicing the stunts (who I assume are stunt coordinators?) should act - they make it seem not only realistic, but also quite dramatic and action-packed… even though in reality it’s just two guys in a storage room, play fighting.

Oh, yes, the general who let a very young Genya get raped multiple times by an old man (and then basically fed her to his shadow babies, completely mutilating her), who has made Alina his slave, taking away the ONLY thing that has truly been her's, who has kissed her and touched her without consent multiple times, who is constantly known to manipulate specifically young and naive girls when he is over several hundred years older than them, oh yes THAT general. Awh, what a truly sad character who didn't get to wield power for his wants regardless of who dies in the process, truly tragic.
LOL, I think Ben Barnes did a fantastic job of portraying a multi dimensional villain! Pure seething evil would have been cartoonish.

It's funny how films and shows are already being made, no regards to social distancing or masking or all that other crap, while hundreds of thousands of small business owners have lost their businesses, millions of people lost their jobs, their livelihoods, their lives to suicide and other causes of death that aren't COVID, because THEY aren't essential of course, but NETFLIX is.
I'm not saying that no films should be made, props to them for doing such a great show, but SOME CONSISTENCY in application of covid rules would be nice. RESTRICTIONS FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME.

They started filming in 2019, and finished filming march 2020. But they did another additional shooting in sept and oct last year but in canada
I get your anger and sadness, even through I consume media I still get the absurdity of it. And with climate change drying up my country, yeah, it feels like a luxury watching t.v.
I like the show - but all these new shows seem to have to follow the same agenda and have to cover all the NEW criteria's - with a bit of gay sex, transgenderism, lesbianism etc etc, that is just thrown in and does not help or add anything to the story what so ever. Good point is that in this show they keep it to the bear minimum but I supposed they have ticked all the right far left woke agenda criteria boxes.
Thats kinda the point mate, queer people shouldn’t be just used as plot. Its meant to be there just as a normal thing that is part of life

I mean... a) Jasper was hinted at being Bi in the books if you mean that and b) look at how many hetero relationships are being thrown into shows and books even though it doesn't do anything for the plot. It's normal. That why it's in new shows
