All the the words and proper names she pronunce are in RUSSIAN language 😊 As a native russian let me give you some translation:
Merzost - means "something gisgusting, disturbing"
Nichevo'ya - is a twisted russian word meaning "nothing, emptyness"
Razryshaya - verb meaning "distrustion, crushing, destroying"
Novyi Zem = New Land
"Grisha" is a proper male name in our culture, short from Grigori/Grigory
There are also many Slavic/Russian/Old Russian words and proper names in show now and then

i think they’re called Grisha because in the books the first guy to teach magic to others was named Sankt Grigori and Grisha was his nickname?

I actually enjoyed the Netflix adaptation much more than the book
YEAH I personally never enjoyed shadow and bone and couldn’t force myself past the first book but the show handled the plot perfectly and improved mals character a TON
I really prefer the show over the Shadow & Bone, but the Six of Crows duology is forever the best in my opinion,
