What sucks is that when victims of bullying report it, nothing happens. But when they fight back, they get punished for it. It happened to me in the eighth grade, and probably thousands of others.
That happened to me....saw a guy and his friends were waiting for me outside the door at school. So I turned around and waited a while before going out. When I walked out, the guy was still there hiding and knocked me to the ground and we both got suspended on the grounds for fighting....It didn't matter that all I did was fall down....I was still suspended.
@@w.c.d4892 That is similar to my story. I was attacked by a drunk student at high school. I subdued him THREE times without trying to hurt him and all three times I let him go, he still came after me throwing punches. I was pissed off the third time, I used a judo throw on him onto the ground. Not only did both of us get suspended, but the vice principal refused to ask the witnesses of other students and janitors who witnessed the incident.
The vice principal even threatened my brother, that if he kept on trying to talk and change her mind, on the matter that she was going to suspend me for longer. I hated the school I went to because of garbage like that.
@@w.c.d4892 After it happened to me twice, once in middle school and once in high school, I just said screw it. Anybody messes with me, I'm just gonna start swinging. If I'm gonna do the time, I might as well go ahead and do the crime.
Happened to me in middle school. This rich black kid was picking on me in 7th and 8th grade, and it was all over something he thought I said or did that I never had anything to do with. Relentlessly would harass me in all the classes we shared, would shoot spitballs at the back of my head, would steal things from me, trash my desk/locker, and twice jumped me in the bathroom, the second time was a setup where he got an entire circle of people in the bathroom to watch him jump me.
My parents kept insisting I tell the teacher/faculty, so eventually I did when I got sick and tired of it. They did absolutely nothing and he laughed at it and did it even more after that. One time on the blacktop outside, I finally had enough of his shit and threw two punches in his face. I didn't get to finish him off because his friends immediately ganged up on me and pulled me off/beat me. Then I was the one who got in trouble. A whole week of detention, and a phone call to my parents. I was the victim of bullying and they punished ME instead of HIM.
Telling your kids not to fight and to go to a school teacher is absolute shit advice and I, for the longest time, had resentment against my parents and my teachers for basically forcing me into a corner and making me endure undeserved punishment while keeping my hands tied from retaliation. That is the worst feeling in the world, like you're locked in chains and people can just abuse you and you can't do anything to stop them. All they ever said was "ignore him." Ignoring NEVER worked with any bully I've dealt with. More bad advice.
I never got to get back at this guy, but karma took care of him for me. In high school, he got suspended for an entire year and had to go to a troubled school where suspended students would go to finish the rest of their academic year. The kids there were real thugs, real hood kids, not this rich black kid who's dad was a rich pastor and lived in the rich neighborhood.
I think those hood kids roughed and tightened his ass up. Because when he came back, all of a sudden he was a devout Christian, and never fucked with anyone ever again.
But those scars are still with me. That never leaves. The psychological abuse remains, and as a result, I have a short trigger to anger. It's been a real struggle controlling my anger and being patient with people. And when a physical conflict comes my way, those same feelings of uncertainty and fear/adrenaline flood my body. I can fight, but I can't help but go through this phase every time, and it's real detrimental when you are trying to defend yourself. You constantly have this fear about getting in trouble and the bad guy winning with his lies.
And sure enough, every time I've gotten into a fight since then, and as an adult, I've gotten into trouble, it was just elevated because I was grown up and now the police get involved.
This is fucked up, bullying is fucked up, and the most fucked up part about it, is everyone defends the bully, never the victim.
@@benisahengaming. That's what people don't get. Bullies don't LET anyone ignore them.
The way he punctuates that "Are you laughin' NOW *BAM*..." is just so fucking good.

They travel in packs for a reason. They're cowards. You noticed the one football buddy just stepped out of the way like "Oh damn, he actually hit him!" LMAO
He was probably tired of the fake tough guy shit as well
This is like getting a really good haircut. Or having a great conversation with a girl. Or waking up and remembering it's Saturday and you don't have to go to work. Just nice and satisfying.
Sledge buddy had it bad in high school before the pacfic
Fucking right.
Or defeat the devil
I was skinny and 5’2 in 9th grade (now I’m 6’3) and I kept getting bullied by this 6’ football player who was a senior. I tried going to the VP tried going to my parents and they were really upset about how the school wasn’t doing anything. One morning my dad was dropping me off and my says to me “you deal with him and make sure it’s good” I go in and sure enough he was there started yelling mean things and tried taking my shit then eventually slapped me. I kicked ass to no end. Broke his nose and kicked him so hard in the groin he wasn’t able to walk for a week. I got suspended for 3 days. My dad told me “you did good. Now it’s your resting time” I didn’t get in any trouble from my parents what so ever. Moral of the story, as long as your parents understand do what you gotta do. Fuck the school just worry about your parents.
Your dad is a legend
You are also a legend. Fuck bullies
You’re a fucking legend bro, let’s go💪
U r awesome .
Punk bully deserved it! He didn’t even fight back and his face at the end revealed what a coward he was! Wish really victims of bullies fought back, but they can’t cause that’s what society calls “real bullying.”
Yeah, always punishing the one who fights back to defend himself. Makes no sense.
@Jod T I agree I feel like they should only be punished if they do a little overkill with the defensive beating or if they accidentally do kill them. But if it’s a few blows like what he did it’s self defense.
he was hoping the wad standing behind him would do the heavy lifting. never got that "You're such a p***y that I need 2 of my friends to help me harass you"
@James Cheddar true he was probably hoping his two buddies would hold him down or something. Tbh the ending where he’s coughing it sounds like he’s crying, and his face when the kid told him is he laughing was of pure shock and fear. Dumb punk and his friend deserved that beating!! Only wish real kids didn’t get punished for it.
What a heartwarming scene! Perfect for family viewing!

This is the sad reality for bullied victims.
Bullied: School don’t do shit.
Fight Back: School punishes you.
This shows how little they care about us. They don’t care about our safety. 😢
When you become an adult if you fight every person who says things you don't like you'll just end up in debt and eventually in a prison
No more father’s day for the guy in the green shirt.
My father high fived his sons for putting bullies in the hospital.
I love it when bullys learn they are indeed not That Guy😂😂
I wouldn't have stopped
Me neither
He stoped because he is a nice and gentle person and he knows when to. I admire that.
I'd have gone back to his friend for another go 😂

Then you would've been somebody's bitch in prison, congrats

0:25 think it’s smart to pick on the kid of a man who took out two robbers.
Especially when his dad is Aragorn!!!
This does put a smile on my face
Love how the tall one in the back played his odds and stayed out of it lol.
In the sixth grade, I was jumped by 5 bullies in the locker room. I punched one in the throat, choked another against the lockers until two grabbed me while a third worked my face and stomach. This all happened within 15 seconds until the coach broke it up. After the fight, while hyperventilating in the counselor’s office, she’s asked if I ever considered changing who I was so kids wouldn’t pick on me. I was just a small, shy kid, nothing unique or weird about me. Those kids never picked on me again though. I learned two lessons that day, always fight back, and authority wants peace more than justice. The counselor saw the me as the problem, not the five guys who decided to start a fight against one shy kid. Junior year of high school, I was in class with a friend of the kid whom I punched in the throat. I told the classmate what had happened years ago, just as an anecdote. The next day, it was relayed to me that bully still remembered the punch.
This happened to me as well, except that I got arrested because a cop saw me even I'm a victim of bullying.
You taught them a valuable lesson.
I don't believe in fighting. I do believe in killing. I must have an inferiority complex.
and then everybody clapped
This is about as inspiring as 5 touchdowns at Polk high. Shut up.
After this day no one bullied him again.
Never gets old!
I have to admit, with how impotent educators are when it comes to stopping bullying, telling any kids I have to fight back sounds like the morally right thing to do.
Say something funny? Okay, I'll tell a joke when I deliver your eulogy.
That last punch was personal
Every time I watch this film, the final punch is so cool when he rests his hand on the locker before he throws his punch 😂
The above scene depicts the actual situation where a person is busy minding his own business and suddenly someone for no apparent reason comes and tries to belittle the person and seems to have some sort of sick satisfaction from harassing a person with whom he has no dealings with in the first place! Then there comes a time when the person is compelled to make the decision of fight or flight and believe me running away from a problem does not solve the problem instead it aggravates the situation to go even further! I seriously got worked up when that bully approached him and tried his best to make the person lose his self esteem but what he got in return was a reminder not just for himself but for others as well and that is if a person wishes to survive then it goes without saying that whatever needs to be done must be done at all costs otherwise there will be no end to nuisance!
I agree fully.
In a similar situation I didn't stop until the person who began it all was on the ground and wasn't getting back up.
Once the kid was on the ground I turned loose everything which was a culmiination of months.
One of his friends decided to join in and he got a less than cordial reception as he was also headed to the ER.
Broke the one kids jaw, arm in two places and he receoved several stitches due to a D cell battery I had in my hand. The friend received the same with the addition of a broken nose.
No one bothered me again.
Pummelled his bullies, and he didn't need no radioactive spider bite.
Best scene of all time
I wish I had had what it took to defend myself back in the day.
This was my favorite retaliation scene until Hawk beat up his bully in Cobra Kai. Now they are tied for #1 😊
30 seconds of having some balls changed his whole life
Unironically one of the best comic book films
Realistically, small town kids wouldn't try to bully the son of the guy who killed two criminals trying to rob his store. The opposite would probably happen if anything.
Small man syndrome is a real thing, guys got to prove some nonsense. The guys that get in fights at bars are usually the tallest ones because guys get their egos threatened a taller guy even exists
I don't know about that, bullies are pretty reckless and proabably stupid enough to pick on anyone as long as they think they can get away with it. Also don't forget the bullies in this scene already picked on him in a previous scene before his father killed those 2 guys
You vastly overestimate the intelligence of small town bullies. Lmao.
Great acting. Love this scene.
Bro went from 0 to Get over here!!! Mortal Kombat really fast.... :D :D
"Let's talk...now let's talk."
Nice Khabib reference lol
Don't think of repercussions when the time is right, strike
Remind me of myself got bullied in the 7th grade, was too afraid to tell any of my family cuz i was embarrassed of it, til my grandpa found out.
He didnt tell my parents either, but taught me some of his tricks he learned when he was still in the army. I got suspended for 2 weeks of fighting them but after that they didnt bully me anymore.
The truest part of any movie with bullying. Is the fact that the bullying is fine and dandy all day everyday for the kid getting bullied. But the one day the kid getting bullied stands up for himself and fights back. They will always be in trouble and i can’t understand why. I wasn’t a great kid. There were people who tried to bully me bc of how small I was. But when I realized how strong I was…I was no better than the people who attempted to bully me. I bullied the bullys. Bad
See thats what happens when you a bully you act all tough until you mess with the wrong one
1:12 I felt that 😂
Did did the same thing many times in high school, then I woke up and realized I was just dreaming.
My favorite scene in the movie
Such a great scene I always have to watch it at least 3 times.
“Smashing the Bully” is a title that’s used a lot for other kinds of situations 😂
I was 6'2" as a freshman but skinny as a board. I got bullied by 3 or 4 members of our football team and it was encouraged by the wrestling coach who was nothing but a gorilla who wore clothes. I dealt with it by walking away. Back in 1981 there weren't a lot of martial arts dojos available. Had there been I would have gladly joined and gained more self confidence to stick up for myself.
Time to fight back
I used to get beat up badly but always looked forward to it, every now and then I was able to connect a good punch, they finally realized that it wasn't worthed, I was embarrising them ("the little kid gave you a black eye!). Doesn't matter if you win or not, never back down.
Never back down, but watch yourself. Always have a plan b. Wish you the best out there 🤝
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight. It’s the size of the fight in the dog.
A bit of old skool justice......
There's no smoke without fire.
I love this scene.
When I was i Grade 4, I confronted the ringleader of the gang that bullied me in Grade 3. We wrestled, and I tossed him on his ass. He got up and said, "So you threw me down, eh?" We wrestled some more, but I could tell something had changed. I was never bullied again. Yeah, he had problems at home, bullies are cowards when confronted and blah blah blah. The usual bully stereotype. It's all true.
However... Things are more complicated than this. The end of the bullying was not the end of my problems at that school.
I was still at a rural school, loaded with Christian fundamentalist rednecks, and I was a highly intellectual kid who didn't believe the Earth was 6,000 years old or that dinosaur bones were put in the ground by Satan to tempt us. I continued to remain lonely and isolated until I graduated that school at age 14. By the time I went to high school, I was one seriously f*cked up kid.
My parents had the $$$ and the insight that maybe they should put me in a nearby school for the gifted, but they didn't do it. Why not? I don't know. I was eight years old when I started there, and like 10 or 11 when I confronted my bully. But _I shouldn't have have to._ They knew I was lonely, they knew I spent a lot of my spare time alone, they knew I was being bullied. And they didn't remove me from that toxic environment. They f*cked up.
And even today, many years later, my mother has recently made a few comments, unprovoked by me, that are obviously an attempt to remove herself from any responsibility for what happened when I was a f*cking child! so as to excuse herself from my struggles as an adult, which are a direct continuation of that. If she would just admit that they f*cked up, it would make it so much easier for me to forgive them. Which I am working hard on doing. But it doesn't help when one of them says sh*t like this. F*ck.
they're the only ones that're right ... otherwise it's disrespect.
One thing I know for sure gonna teach my future kids self defense
The son always reminds of Jesse Eisenberg.
I see the resemblance almost
"Are you laughing? Are you laughing now?" I don't think he is.
