@@villy4556 That's what makes him so scary. To someone who'd never seen him fight, who didn't know how thoroughly he demolished people Fedor looks like like just another chubby kind of guy. Silva had already beaten some greats at Middleweight, but seeing him completely toy with a guy that was a LHW Champion & beat guys like Shogun Rua & Rampage Jackson (also on this list) was insane!
It wasn't that we thought Silva couldn't win, but he was fighting in a heavier weight class with a larger dude who made his mark beating some of the best. Griffin was a proven banger & could take the heat too, but Silva simply dismantled him with ease. I remember it just looking almost fake... nobody had done that to Griffin, especially not a 185 lb dude.

I'd like to point out that when Wandi was getting in Chael's face on the TUF set, Chael immediately put his hands EXACTLY the way Bas Rutten said to on his old defense videos! Helps to protect from headbutts, your midsection and leaves your power hand already at your chin. Bas and Chael are the MAN ('men' just didn't sound right)!!

I had a beer with Chuck Liddell before in the Dallas airport. I was sitting at a bar wearing a tap out shirt (perfect timing but I own about 20 of them) and who sits next to me was Chuck. I said OMG my favorite fighter just sat next to me and he laughed. I bought him and his 2 friends tall draft beers. We talked for 15 mins which was a great experience I will never forget. Chuck is superman to me but I am glad her retired because one more concussion could of been his life in this dangerous sport.
