fyi this wasn't a first offense and it can taint the results of their tests. I don't think you understand the situation here, they have to disqualify him because they can't prove him to be clean several times. Was it being used to taint the results and mask something else? They don't know and can't know. Maybe Diaz shoudln't get caught for pot.. SEVERAL FUCKING TIMES?

The best part about Jones wrapping his Bentley that the UFC bought for him around a telephone pole was not the fact that he called his mother to bail him out of prison, it was the fact that Jon had 2 girls, aged 17 and 18, in the car with him who were both more intoxicated than he was.
That part got very quickly swept under the rug, though.

As a lifelong Wanderlei fan, I'm not exactly an unbiased party here...but even Chael Sonnen who hates Wanderlei said thats not how that incident went down. He said Wanderlei stayed and talked to the guy and wanted some translated paperwork because he didn't understand it. Eventually he said he had a press conference to go to for the fight and left. Chael said it wasn't exactly the running away, jumping over the counter story that it was portrayed as.

I like to ride very fast motorcycles at high speeds, alot of times I will take a few hits from my vape pen before riding and it helps me relax on the bike which is absolutely critical to not dying in a motorcycle wreck. I imagine it's the same with fighting, except I'm sure he's completely sober during the actual fight given how they are there for hours before the actual fight happens. he smokes when hes rolling his jujitsu and sparring.

In the context of a 3rd positive test of a banned substance, 5 years actually sounds fair. But yeah its pot so kinda bogus honestly.
You'd think you get the message after the first 2 times. He also appealed it and got the ban reduced to 18 months and the fine reduced. Bogus or not, if it's banned, work within the system. It's kind of his own fault really.
