Let's all be honest here: Dana wasn't mad that GSP got the decision over Hendricks. He was mad GSP announced he was taking time off afterwards. If GSP had gone on as normal and not announced his pseudo retirement, Dana would have gone into that presser and said absolutely nothing about it. Dana was being a salty bitch about it because it meant he couldn't promote a rematch.
Yeah because Hendricks very obviously deserved the rematch and GSP didn’t even grant him that even though most folks thought Hendricks won, although the decision could have gone either way. But at the very least, Hendricks deserved a rematch.

Also on Hendricks and GSP decision. I too thought right after the fight that Hendricks was the clear winner, but watching the fight again months later, it was much closer than I first remembered. I could see the judges calling it for GSP because the later rounds were clearly his and Hendricks was clearly going to lose if there were more rounds than 5.

I don't blast dana like some people do, but the gsp thing was just a rebuttle to his hard negotiations and retirement schtick. I don't blame either of them, but dana freaking out about the decision was more about putting George in a tight spot than really thinking he lost. There have been way worse decisions.

The problem with Dana White is that a lot of his angry moments have clear ulterior motives beyond a love for the sport or concern for fighters. He loves to talk shit on things and then either do the same or go back when there’s a chance for cash. It’s usually just business or ego.

The end of Anderson Silva's career is really unfortunate. When he was fighting normally he was something to watch man. I don't know if we'll ever see someone as good at stand up as he was and he flushed the last few years of his prime to acting like a tool. Not too dissimilar from Mcgregor but I think he was even better than him as a striker and Mcgregor might still make up for it.

@@sumaylaleti6294 he never tested positive to roids until he broke his leg, i mean even my friend's grandma had to take roids to recover her broken feet. it would be better to if they at least make it so that if a fighter is seriously injured and and to take those medications they should only fight when they are clean.
