I had a lot of fun with this one too, had a great time. The Kaiju fights are great, I liked most of the human characters, agreed on Dan Stevens his character was a highlight. This felt like a late Showa Era Godzilla movie which was silly, over the top crazy, was aimed at kids but still a fun time. I saw several kids at my showing and one or two had Godzilla toys with them and they had a good time.

Amazing
I loved it !! The fights were amazing!! Kong had more time to shine !! Enjoyed the score and the songs they chose . I love Godzilla Minus One but I loved this one too for a different reason . It reminded of the old Godzilla vs ….. movies . I watched those as a kid when I lived with my grandmother in Puerto Rico.
Toho made the original Godzilla which was serious . The company also made the fun Godzilla movies .

To be all 'akshully' as I adjust my glasses, I think people were upset about Man of Steel for Supes killing as much or more than the general widespread death and destruction. I don't know if people will be as upset about Godzilla and Kong wrecking shop and the ensuing death? Curious if Rocha ever got that second Dune popcorn bucket.
For me, the Hollow Earth scenes felt as if I was watching a big budgeted 1970s Doug McClure lost world film (Land that Time Forgot, At the Earth's Core, Warlords of Atlantis, etc). I am sure Rocha is old enough to remember those movies.
With all of the flaws Godzilla X Kong had, I still pretty much enjoyed it. I would describe it as a "fun mess". 🙂

Well Godzilla and Kong are huge monsters that’s different from being a superhero smashing through buildings without thinking of the ppl in them.

I'm still not clear if that is supposed to really be inside the earth or in another dimension or something. I mean they went through portals to get there in the last film..

I enjoyed the movie as well. It was just fun! Great idea to release it on Easter weekend!
I just wished there was more Godzilla. It was mostly a Kong movie, and they dumbed Godzilla down. There's no way he would have attacked Kong right away with how they left things in the last movie
Yeah it was a real good time, they even had a little trial run in there ala the Planet of the Apes films to see if they could do just a full on Titans movie and it worked beautifully. The humans in this weren't horrible, I'm completely fine with the nonsense science and reasoning for things as part of their story as long as it doesn't feel like a chore watching them and they aren't taking away from the titan action. In KotM they decided to focus on the human perspective about 3/4 of the time when the fight sequences were going on so I'm seeing Eleven run away from Godzilla fighting Ghidorah... IDGAF about her I want to see one of my fave chars fight his arch nemesis! GvK however they let you see the fights when they happen but my god was the one group of people just insufferable. Here I didn't mind them when they were on screen, they even gave us some extra Titan lore and when fights happen I got to see em... and MAN was that pyramid fight fantastic!

Good action movie not deep just sit back and enjoy that why we go to movies

I almost went to see it yesterday but I just couldn't pull the trigger. The trailers for this movie really annoyed me for some reason. I went to see Dune 2 again instead.
This was the second worst one behind king of the monsters for me, the needledrops are kind of excruciating, but with most things there are redeeming elements of course.
