NightWolf was a beast in Mortal Kombat. Great move sets. Brilliant storyline and second in command after Raiden in Mortal Kombat 9. However terrible fatality but his reveal trailer improved his fatality. Too bad he sacrificed himself to take out Sindel. One of the best characters in Mortal Kombat. Put some Respect in NightWolf. 9/10

I've loved NightWolf ever since I played Deception as a kid, then years later was excited after he was brought back to live I was excited for his return after the disappointment that was MKX. I wonder what other Native-Americans think of him - if they don't see him as fake or just a stereotype. Someone said in a video's comments section he was originally Sioux and Lakota in origin, but was made to be Makota. I don't know much of the subject of NightWolf, but I think he's badass.

His fatality can be tackling the opponent down to the ground and have his (spirit) wolves hold him/her down by the limbs. Then the alpha, Nightwolf, silences the person's scream by cutting/crushing the throat and the wolves can eat their favorite parts.

Yes but it is now known that Kotal was mistaken for being a deity by the Aztecs in the new intro dialogue between Nightwolf and Kotal. Not sure if you've seen that already but thought I mentioned it since Aztecs believed that the Spaniards ( Conquerors ) were part of a long awaited Prophecy from their ancient beliefs. They were obvious mistaken just like Kotal was mistaken for such a " god."

Kotal would probably fit more the lines of Huitzilpochtli. To be fair though, they probably chose Buluc because it would probably be hard for them to pronounce good ol' Huitzil's fullname.

Nightwolf is one of those guys that has a lot of power and technique but isn’t given the chance to do much. Basically Piccolo in modern dragon ball, can manage to sneak in a cool moment or two but can never shine as brightly as the top dogs.

Idk, in umk3 and trilogy I liked his fatalities. One he makes a beam come forme the sky onto the opponent. When I was little I thought he was making aliens do that. And he has one where lightning hits his axe then the opponent. I forget the ones in deception and mk9 though but I use fatalities like once unless I have to like on mk11 to earn a head for the krypt. I like brutalities better. They go with the flow of the end of the match and dnt take long and you feel good that you were able to do it, but they were harder to do in mkx thougj. I felt better on mkx, bc it didn't say finish him while you were still doing a combo so if you were trying to do a brutality, the announcer wouldn't like sorta freeze the game for that second and mess your combo brutality up like mk11 does.
How much of a Power Multiplier did Sindel basically receive after Shao Kahn killed Shang Tsung and used his souls to over power Sindel?? How much power increased for her you guys think?? Doubled or Tripled??
Bruh. That amp was crazy. Shorty went from being Spike Dudley, to Brock Lesnar mixed with Goldberg instantaneously, with Shang Tsung's power. Almost unquantifiable how powerful she got. Almost a borderline Titan.
I thought Nightwolf was pretty cool in 3. Along with Kabal and Sindel. Stryker was the least interesting to me, but he was totally fun to play as. My least favorite was Shang Tsung. Dood looked like he pooped his pants and developed a hunch back between 2 and 3. Also, the eye makeup did him no favors either.
