What if I have a big back of oat flour I’m looking to get rid of? Do I cut out the oats and the flour and just use that much oat flour?
FYI, if someone doesn't have an air fryer (or convection oven), they can bake the cookie for the same length of time at 25°F higher than the temperature you use on the air fryer..
God bless you
U are my hero
The best part is when you show you're using Walmart Great Value brands. Simple, affordable, easy to find ingredients for the most part. Thank you ❤
Making sure it’s easy for y’all to make these recipes! Wanna show that eating healthier can be affordable
Walmart's Great Value brand of powdered pb is the cheapest and the best tasting! I can't live without it! ❤😂
Tried the double chocolate version of this is amazing! So gooey and chocolatey and VERY FILLING! I couldn’t even finish one whole cookie. I recommend this recipe.
Just ran out of Casein, so I’ll have to wait a few days to make this but excited to try it!
Casin and whey protein powder can be substituted with dry milk powder
Awesome video and love your content. Please add this recipe to your cookbook since I recently bought it but don't see it there yet. Also I'd love if you experimented around with vegan substitutions (ie. Flax egg) just to see if it turns out with your recipes. Love your recipes even though I have to modify some of them
if you haven't tried microwaving the costco bars yet, you def should. Makes the texture way more enjoyable
great video!!
I have before! It’s so good! But I haven’t done it in years
Might give it a try.
Do it
Awesome Rahul!🎉❤
:)
lookin good rahul
Hi Rahul. Nice videos you have here. Looking to try to the recipe sometime soon. Where in cali do you live where the power goes out often?
I live in the bay area haha, rain making the power go out 😭
I love your videos❤
You’re the best, thank you
Hey Rahul, this recipe looks incredible, and I'm looking forward to my attempt to make and consume them.
But a question: is it possible to use only whey, as I currently don't use casein powder?
Yes but it’ll be a bit dryer!
Hey bro. Can you make an easy protein chips video please🙏
Snickerdoodle, please!! 🥰
Oooooh ok!
I love using a smart scale as well! Daily tracking is perfect.
I’ve got to try these cookies.
Yeahhh smart scale is so helpful
What can I use instead of Coconut Flour? Wanna try it in the morning and have none 😢
Can I use other types of protein powders? Vegan ones?
WHoaoaa you changed your cookbook name!
I've been watching your videos for a long long time and I got accustomed to "Healthy Cookbook" and it surprised the heck out of me to see it renamed as "Fat Loss Cookbook"
Haha I did change the name, felt Fat Loss Cookbook seemed better since everyone has different definitions of “healthy”. Wdyt?
@@RahulKamat Yeah I like it! More distinctive as well :)
Damn!! So good! I just had one, cooked it for 6min and it was almost like a lava cake. I might try it with egg whites only next time to see if i can lower cals more.
Cant wait to try ur actual lava cake u just posted 🤤🤤🤤
Did it work with egg whites?
@tonybrown5425 I haven't tried yet 🙈
I've made it several times with a whole egg and it's really really good!
I will comment when I try with egg white onlt
Can we try this without the protein powder?
All I have is gluten free all purpose flour and no coconut flour. How much of the gluten free should I use? Oh and should I use baking powder with it as well?
Please do some pure whey recipes for those of us unable to buy both protein powder products
Oatmeal in flour form will still contribute to glucose spikes more than the whole form so its just slightly healthier flour.
An apple will spike your glucose. What’s your point? “Slightly healthier flour” yes. Exactly. And?
@tonybrown5425 apples have low glycemic index and load and oat flour has a high glycemic index and load. The amount that it will spike is my point dummy
@@tonybrown5425 apples have a low glycemic index and load while oat flour has a high glycemic index and load. It's the amount that it will spike your glucose that's makes the difference duhhh
vanilla raisin nut cookie...I am not so fond of chocolate cookie as I have weaned myself from my chocolate addiction:)...so anything and everything vanilla. IS it possible to just use americian measuring cups, I am still old fashion and don't mind if it is not so exact.
Yo natural PB definitely has its place I'll opt for that every time over the powdered stuff and accept the higher cal. More satiating, tastier and less processed. Fats are good
Def has its place, and fats are good. Powdered pb still great though
@@RahulKamat yeah for sure, particularly so in baking or shakes. Mixed up on its own and used as a spread for toast and stuff - not so great imo
I agree, real pb tastes better as a spread for toast. Powdered pb doesn’t have the same fatty coat the roof of your mouth texture/taste
I've seen you have stored your Costco bars in the freezer in a previous video and that's probably why they are so hard,,,,not fair they are actually not bad, low cost and low sugar
There’s worse, but they are punishingly chewy and not that tasty. It’s clear they are made to get the job done. Try barebells or fitcrunch for better tasting low sugar alternatives if you’d like to see what you’re missing
@@SeriesOfCZcamss Thanks for the suggestion but those two brands both use bovine gelatin and I'm vegetarian. I also hate peanuts so that limits my choices further
I don't know why you live there lol but love yiur videos thank you so much
Idk either bro but thank you!
@@RahulKamatMove to Texas or Florida, we’ll treat you right. (No black/brown outs)
Rahul, instead of using those 4oz cups can I use muffin trays instead? Or will that change the cook time/ gooier texture?
I hope you didn’t try it. Ovens are known to spontaneously combust when people use a container that’s slightly smaller than the one recommended on the recipe.
I used a muffin pan and it turned out fine. Just continue to check them with a toothpick until you reach the desired texture.
What’s the option or substitute for powdered peanut butter? Just add more protein powder? I can’t stand the taste of peanut butter.
Your option is probably a different recipe…? Btw you can hardly taste the PB
RAHULLLL… damn you! Now I’m hungry. So much CHAWLIT 🤤. Chocolate chip cookie is the all-time top-tier…. Buuuutttt. *brain gears grinding* TWIX COKKIE! Make it happen! My Sunday is not complete without Rahul. Love you ❤
LOLOLOLOL twix cookie!? I wasn’t even thinking about that, twix not even that good! Wb reeses 😭
@@RahulKamatReese’s clearly the best, but I was trying to give you a challenge 😉 😊
What temp and how long in a regular oven? I have no room for an air fryer. 😢
25 degrees higher than his recipe for a few extra mins, just kero an eye on it ❤
Red velvet cookie next! 😁
Ooooooh
That's rather raw than gooey, but you can leave in in the heat for a bit longer. Gooey - I mean REALLY gooey - cookies aren't a thing where I live.
I might give this one a try.
Could you use 30g of a whey + casin protein powder such as pe science?
Yeah!
How much oat flour does 10 g of oats equal to so we can use already prepped oat flour?
10g oats = 10g oat flour, the weight stays the same regardless of if it’s blended or not
Yuuuum
😤
What if I hate peanut butter
No pumpkin 😵💫?
Can always rely on you for my sweet cravings without feeling guilty
I got you my guy
@@RahulKamat appreciate your efforts 👌🏽
Can someone please tell me the size of those ramekins? Are they 4oz or 8oz? Would appreciate it, thank you.
They’re 4in x 4in x 2in (L x W x H)
Rahul I have a question whenever I make your food it doesn't taste the same I think it's because i didnt put protein powder. Does protein powder change the taste or no?
Yes it does! Protein powder changes the taste and the texture of the food, so leaving it out can make a huge difference. It’s like baking a cake and leaving out the flour when a recipe calls for it
@@RahulKamat thanks bro I have a question, are you Indian or Bengali?
@@fortnitesweatkid Kamat sounds like Konkani/North Canara
I wonder how it would turn out if you put roasted peanuts in the blender and didn't add salt instead of using the peanut powder...
Might work but it would be higher cal because powdered pb is defatted, also can’t blend the peanuts too much or it’ll turn into peanut butter
Did i just find another rare fan of legion athletics?
Stuff’s goooood!
I’m a elderly and I have a hard time figuring out grams to cups or even ounces bc I want to make the recipe. I don’t have a gram converter
You have the computer or phone you wrote this on and Google. You can search anything in Google and it’ll give you the conversions you need. Don’t let that get in your way! Much luck.
Not gonna lie, you say light and fluffy but it looks under cooked. More like a lava cake than a cookie
It’s like an underbaked cookie and the inside tastes like cookie dough
Not gonna lie, I don’t think you watched the video. That’s literally the point. By the way, it’s not like the world will end if you cook it longer. So idk why you’re complaining.
has anyone had success with this at 250F (about 120C)? Even airfrying for 15 minutes mine were nowhere near done.
Pish posh!!!
PISH POSH!
You need something mint chocolate for saint Patrick's day
Ooh I love mint choc flavored things
"I am now a vegan man" *1 second later, cracks an egg* xD
The chocolate chip one didn’t look good, but the brownie looking one looked delicious
Oh no why didn’t it look good
Looks delicious but more nutrition info would be helpful.
In the description!
@@RahulKamat
I apologize. I totally missed that. Thank you so much!
compares to 20g, 200kcal protein bar
still will promote 200~250kcal Legion protein bar 😘😅
Legion bar tastyyyyy, but yeah it has 50 more cals than the ideal protein to calorie ratio for protein bars
@@RahulKamathey! in the video you state 250derees for 5 mins, but you wrote 6-8 mins?
Whoops thanks! Explained this in the comments:
Air fry at 250°F for 5-8 minutes.
5 mins leaves the center super gooey and doughy.
8 mins makes the cookie more cooked, with a soft, slightly gooey center.
@@RahulKamatohhhh I got you, thanks!
Pish 😤 Posh 😤
😅😅😅
I need to stop being a lazy ass mf'er and make these.
Go make it NOW
“I am now a vegan man”
*throws egg in bowl
I put all the same ingredients into MyFitnessPal and and set it to be 2 servings. It comes out to 600 calories per cookie.
Realized that by default it selects 1 lb of eggs instead of 1 egg, so make sure to change it before you save it yall
ONE THOUSANDTH LIKE
Appreciate you fr 🙏
Noticed that you changed to capcut. A little too overedited for your style
PLEASE don't raw dog the dough even with pasterized egg whites. the AP flour shouldn't be eaten raw
The powdered peanut butter you're waving around, which was added to your cookie is $14 a jar on Amazon. That's not including the protein powder which is also pricey. Completely unaffordable for me 😢
It lasts a really long time and it’s a bulk size jar so the cost per serving isn’t that much
@@RahulKamat I don't know how to say this nicely, but the protein and PB powder ingredients are not affordable for me. The price of "staple foods" like just vegetables is so high recently. Other people may not have a problem.
fitness industry is not for poor people 😢
What do you want him to do about that? He doesnt set retail prices himself. And he already gave you an exolantion why buying in bulk size has its cost per serving benefits. Any body building recipe on youtube has these two items (powdered pb and protein powder) as staple ingredients. Also, try shoping for protein powder on sale. Most suppliment stores will have sales on their protein powder multiple times a year. Good luck. @22anamae
