  • I HOPE you don't send the same resume to all job applications! For a better chance of getting called for an interview and land that dream job, you need to TAILOR your resume! In this video, I walk through why it's important to be intentional with your job search, how to research the company's values and what the job is looking for, then lastly, exactly HOW to cater your resume to the finished product! Stick around to hear what Accenture saw from my resume and why I was called for an interview.
IMPORTANT: I know these are rough times. Unfortunately this video was already filmed, but I will say it here: The poverty rate in the US is 22% for the Black population (among the highest), so they can't access the resources and knowledge the privileged can through paid courses or even higher education. I make this information accessible through CZcams on how to improve your chances on getting a better job through tailoring your resume to companies and jobs - a skill most people don't have! As many are laid off or furloughed due to Covid-19, this resource is great to help you get back up on your feet.

Can you make the job description, your resume with highlighted entries and the final tailored resume available for download? It would be helpful to compare them all to get a better understanding of everything you said. It's easier than skipping back and forth in the video.

I would put it on your LinkedIn, but on your resume, I would put it down if it’s relevant to the internship you’re applying for. If anything, I would put a bullets on what you expect to be doing even though the purpose of the resume is to list achievements and not what you did.
