David this is great - matching resumes is always one of the most difficult processes. Curious to know if Teal has any plans to allow more customization of resume formatting? I.e. If I wanted to create a resume with a bulleted highlights section instead of a summary section, or wanted to have a skills section after the summary section? Love the customization within the content, curious if there are ways to customize the resume template.

This looks like an amazing resource. Saves so much time. I’ve been doing what the Teal service provides manually (printing out job postings, highlighting skills, making a checklist, ensuring all keywords are in the resume, and saving each resume as a separate file). However, I do all this and have only heard back from a handful of employers. (I’ve applied to at least 100 jobs-no exaggeration)
I am wondering if the information from the job posting is equal to the information the employer inputs into their ATS system. Does anyone know?

I have a resume format which I like, Will the resume tool keep the same format when I turn on and off professional summaries or achievements within a position?

Hi there! Yes, the format should stay the same even when you toggle things on and off!

Hi Anita! We recommend anywhere in the yellow or green zone, at the end of the day, you're the one pressing send on your application so ensure you're satisfied with the result and it reflects accurately your experience relevant to the job. You'll hit apply on the direct link for the application or via LinkedIn - wherever you see the job posting!

how can you tailor your resume to the job description if you want to change jobs/change roles/change careers? if the job you're applying for isn't directly related/relevant to your current work experience?

Hi! What you want to focus on are transferable skills. This may include rewording skills to better match the target job.

I think you have a bug in your system. It won't allow me to delete a resume.

Hey there! Would you be able to send us an email to membersupport@tealhq.com so we can take a look? There's two ways to delete a resume. The Menu box on the open resume - the third option is to Delete This Resume. The second option is in your Resume Builder spreadsheet, click the trash icon and delete. If you're looking to start over completely from scratch, you can do an override by selecting Create a Resume and then Import Resume or LinkedIn profile. Let us know if that works, if not, please send us an email so we can get fixed for you!! đŸ€—

Teal is free. Teal+ is our upgraded version. Just like LinkedIn, for premium features, requires an upgrade, but you can still use the platform entirely for free.
