Great update, the walking into a room and not remembering why is similar to dementia as it's in the shortest term memory that you don't need to record, like most things during your day, although recording it for a bit longer would have been helpful 🤣. As it's drink for dementia I thought that I would add that I get temporary dementia after a night on beer that is over 5% ABV 🤣. All joking aside it is a terrible affliction which I don't wish on anyone, I even managed to resist the temptation to type the same sentence in two or three times 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Thanks I thought long and hard before I decided to do this video. Don’t generally do personal vids but was super touched by Simmo and really wanted to share my experiences. Your comment means a lot cheers 👍🏼🍻
Doing a video on this myself, will do a sup but a chug on a short haha, havent got the right style to chug but my nanna had dementia so means a lot to do a video on awareness. Cheers mate p.s had to look twice at this video, always look different without the beard but still look great haha 🍺🍻
Brilliant video Rick my wife’s father had dementia and he was a top mechanical engineer in his day. I just pray I don’t get it but I often have to walk back into a room to think why I went into there in the first place. I am in Spain at the moment but am drinking a red wine to all who have dementia and my love and best wishes go out to them all.❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for your kind words and support. As I said we have it in our family it’s always in the back of your mind. Enjoy the wine and your time away cheers 👍🏼🍻
Good one 👍 My Dad had dementia and he could remember song lyrics and rounds of golf he played years ago but he didn't know me or the rest of the family. He was in a good care home and he was happy but it was tough for his loved ones. Cheers 🍻
It’s definitely harder for the people left behind. I see many dementia patients looked after by brilliant dedicated loving care staff. I really wish I’d talked about that in the video. They keep them safe and are so dedicated 👍🏼🍻❤️
@@BrewabitRick I was a care assistant in a nursing home for many years and saw it every day. You just go along with it and try to make their life as easy as possible. Cheers mate 👍

A relative of mine suffers from early dementia and it's a terrible condition. Thanks for the video. Where is the beard? Cheers 😀👍🍻

Cheers 👍🏼🍻
Nice one Rick! ❤️🍻
Cheers I love you ❤️👍🏼🍻
Nice video Rick, and well explained. A difficult and sensitive subject, closer to home for many more people than probably openly talk about it. 🍺🍺
Agreed, thanks for the kind words cheers 👍🏼🍻
I just had a quick look at his channel, I like what he's doing. Cheers for opening that door.
@@brewandbuild I only found him because other channels I sub to did a vid about this. I do love finding another British beer channel 👍🏼🍻
Well done!
Cheers 👍🍻
