  • When using this product it is important to know that the Pitch Hopper is ONLY permitted on asphalt shingles and not other surfaces. Not plywood, not felt, not ice and water shield, not metal roofing, etc. ONLY USE WHEN ON TOP OF DRY ASPHALT SHINGLES AND DO NOT USE ON ROOF SLOPES GREATER THAN 12/12. This product is not to be used in place of your safety equipment! It is a safety aid, but it is not a piece of safety equipment! Wear your ropes and harnesses, and always put your toe boards down to ensure your safety. By using the Promo Code " Veteran " at checkout you will save 5% off of your ENTIRE order, regardless if you buy 1 for yourself or 10 for your crew. I personally recommend 2 per roofer as these Pitch Hoppers compliment each other very well. One to stand on, and another to hold your shingles is the perfect scenario for speed and comfort. I demonstrate in this video. Please be sure of exactly how many you really think you need before buying because I can only save you 5% this ONE TIME. If you go back to buy more, even if the promo is still running, you won't get the discount again because this is a one-time-per-customer 5%-Discount-limit. And I am POSITIVE you will want more than one Pitch Hopper. Don't forget to share this video with your fellow roofers, employees and employers! Link below to view products! Personally, I will be getting some of the 32" yellow ones next.
    I challenge all you roofers who support the channel to share this video with anybody you know that can benefit from the product and if you have a boss, do your best to convince him to buy a few for everybody! Pitch Hopper covers shipping when you spend 350$ or more. Make sure you guys use the Promo Code "Veteran" at check out. Caps matter. That's Veteran with a capital V

First thing, harness is for new laborers that you don't want to fall! Or for looking safe on a busy road. They only cause chance for accident, stepping on them and getting tangled up in the gun hose! You need a cushion to sit on or stand on if shingles are slippery!, Most 10-12 pitches I can walk,I keep my shingles on my feet and I stand up like you. Also try using the clear plastic 1/4 inch tubing for your gun hose!! Isn't super light and a game changer! Stop using garden hoses! • @NWIVeteranConstruction
      @NWIVeteranConstruction  Před 3 lety +3

      i was being careless because i was at the top. that will ONLY happen if you take all off your weight off it just like it would with a regular cushion. i leaned really far forward and tried to push something out of my way so there was none of the normal pressure on it. TRUST me when i say this thing is worth the buy and doesn't just slip on you for no reason. its got insane grip

    • @NWIVeteranConstruction
      @NWIVeteranConstruction  Před 3 lety +2

      and if you look closely...my rope actually went under my toes. and when i leaned forward it rolled and caused my foot to come off the pitch hopper to cause the slide. not the pitch hoppers fault

      on 12/12s and 10/12s i will do that often but typically i don't see the need for it while roofing. gun is always in my hand, knife is in my pocket, my bostich shoots good nails so i rarely need a hammer...and by getting coil nails i get a decent stretch on the back anyway lol
