I love the art style of this game. For that matter, the art style of a lot of Nintendo's recent games has just been amazing.
I'll still play and love the game but I hate how plastic it looks.

I do too but it doesn't belong on the Switch. The Switch was to impress us how powerful a portable console can be. The 3DS was meant for casualness or why not drop the 3DS and put the 3DS features on the Switch? I'd sell my 3DS as well if the Switch could do Camera,Music.etc. The Switch is bare minimums. For now I have to have both the Switch and the 3DS.
It doesn't even make sense business wise for one company to do TWO portable systems.

Parahype Dead serious, my cousin and I used to literally talk about a Zelda game builder when we were growing up -- look how many likes your comment got! Certain there's BIG $$ in that idea. Plus, kids now are drawn to that type of thing (minecraft, fortnite, halo forge) Zelda games always attracted creative types.

@@barkan7 if anyone cares, the actual figure is 5%, not 1%, of the worldwide population. Some populations, like European males, are as high as 8%

I just finished the original on my gba a couple minutes ago. The game was incredible. The best word I can describe the game is charming. Just the most charming game I have ever played and it has boosted my love for zelda many times over.

I love this Game! My 1st Zelda I ever played on the Old B&W Gameboy! Then I played the DX version! Then I played it on Super Gameboy! I will always love this Zelda! I'm so happy for this remake & gonna stream it non stop!

I have been wanting to see a remake of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Zelda Oracle of Seasons as well. I also want to see the third game as well. Technology can support the original idea for the games now.

Personally Ballad of The Wind Fish is my absolute favorite tune of the entire Legend of Zelda franchise. Fox Amoore's version is the definitive version to me though even the original holds up well now.

Aonuma has always been one of my favorite developers, not just because he has helped create some of the best Zelda games but because you can always see the love and passion he has for these games when presenting/talking about them

Those games were made by Capcom in collaboration with Nintendo, so Nintendo might view them as somewhat less authentic. Unfortunately.

That kind of became redundant with the photo features on the Switch, though if they could have saved that feature somehow they would have.
@@matthewulanski217 That's why I was hoping it would still be a thing in this version of the game since we can take photos with the Switch, but once I saw the Photographer's house was replaced by Dampe that most likely means photos are completely gone now.
This game got me into the Zelda franchise. Back in the day I was completed it probably a hundred times 😊

Link’s awakening and all other retro zeldas are much harder than the games we have today (wind waker -> botw). If they don’t change anything, the game will be a shock to us and remid how difficult games used to be

RE2 was not a faithful remake, more like a reimagining tbh. They changed the gameplay completely. And not complaining, I prefer that to playing the same thing with updated graphics.
@@DZ-rt7hb I consider RE2 to be a faithful remake. Because despite being so different, it is respectable to the original. In the same way, Trials Of Mana is very different to the snes version. But it looks very faithful to it's original. Nostalgic yet new.
I think of it this way.
Remaster = same game, better graphics
Remake = re imagining, same locations but expanded, same story but expanded built from the ground up and updated to modern standards
Reboot = something completely different, similar only in name and trivial areas. Can be really really good, or just terrible.
Nostalgia overload, link's awakening dx was my first zelda game ever. So hyped for this

Or just release Minish Cap and other classic Ninty games on Switch... what's taking sooo long? Then they can focus purely on BotW 2.
I'd also love to see a port of Minish Cap over to the switch.
Would be even better if they made a few minor modifications to it, such as:
1. A true 16:9 aspect ratio.
2. Removal of the distortions in the sound effects and music.
3. Runs at a solid 60 fps @ 720p or 1080p.
4. Remappable buttons with the inclusion of the extra ones on the Switch Pro controller.

This just looks great. I love how they took a stab at shifting it all into one world at once instead of doing the squares of each segment on the map like in Awakening and the Oracle games.
It's not exactly Mario Maker style Dungeon Creator, but it's close enough never would've expected that, first a BotW2 trailer, then this? I can't handle the hype, never played Links Awakening so I'm extremely excited.
Oh was it? I didn't watch E3 because I was at work, but BotW2 was uploaded to the channel early than this so I assumed it was uploaded in the order it was presented.

This was the first RPG I ever played in my life. I remember being amazed because it was a world that in could explore. As big as my imagination. There is no game that I am more excited for this year then links awakening.

Wait till you see the price then your eyes will pop out in a not so good way. Hint: Save your money for an actually GOOD Switch game that shows what it can really do. AKA Luigi's Mansion 3 or the BOTW 2.

Yeah, Ocarina of Time's soundtrack is overrated. I like it but Link's Awakening, Wind Waker, and Breath of the Wild have better music.
And Zelda 2, while not a great game had great music.

And trust me im not trolling here. The overworld is silent like 90% of the time with the occasional few tunes that last 10 freakin seconds.. and the shrines all have the same music and the same battle music everywhere. Its freakin lame!
Compare it to the gameboy or 2d zelda games with a rich soundtrack in every little corner of the map and never ever a moment of silence. Its day and night
Thinking about it, this might lead to remakes if the Oracle games. I loved these three games so much!

I bought a switch just for this...and the switch so far is better than my ps~xbx consoles. However i still like my pc better. But i bought the switch for the EXCLUSIVES!
i absolutely adore the visuals ill be getting the switch for animal crossing and smash but will grab this one as well.
