The idea of Zelda creating household objects to battle with is funny on the surface, but I think it's actually quite fitting. She's always had a sort of summoner/mage design, and going from boxes to unnatural blobs of water to creatures seems like a cool progression of skill.
I'm calling it now: she'll summon an echo of Link for the final battle.

Pretty sure Zelda has only ever used weapons to fight (canonically) in three games: Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Spirit Tracks. For her first adventure you can't just give Zelda a sword and have her go out and fight like in most games, she would just be a genderswapped Link, and if you want a gender swapped Link they might as well make Linkle canon. Zelda, in all her forms, has always been shown as being a powerful magic user. Even when disguised as Sheik, she still didn't fight, just passed along cryptic information and taught Link songs. And remember, she surrendered to Zant in Twilight Princess (although that was totally understandable). While in Spirit Tracks, after possessing a Phantom, Zelda could fight but was mostly used for puzzle solving (such as lighting torches or helping Link reach a high ledge.)
I promise there's a coherent thought in there somewhere.

If you go back to the beginning of tears of the kingdom, and and you get the recall ability. Rauru tells you that “what you saw was a mystery, and that perhaps it was a sort of an echo -one that reflects her sheer will”. This makes sense as to why it’s called echos of wisdom.

I love that Nintendo just never keeps things stale and is always trying something new with their style and gameplay. Returning to a top down type play as the original is wildly fun with these new level of 3D graphics we have now. And then switching up the hero protagonist with echoes is so creative. Love it!

If this is the same Link from ALTTP/Link's Awakening/Oracle this shows how much experience he has by now. Instead of struggling fruitlessly against the rift he placed his faith in Zelda. Assuming this is that same Link he's probably the most capable and heroic of them all after all his adventures.

Always liked it when games do that: You face off against the villain you already know at the very beginning to set up the new threat. It's like how Super Mario RPG begins with you already fighting Bowser and saving Peach.

And I dislike that. Now 2D Zelda also has the clutter. It's probably another sandbox world that only exists for the player to screw around in, rather than having lore or meaning. I want complex dungeons and an engaging storyline in a Zelda game, I don't want to build/stack stuff, I want to explore meaningful worlds with puzzles that are well thoughout with depth and thought behind them. This is a major disappointment to me as it looks like TOTK in 2D.

Might be really cool. What I really want is a game centered on Ravio and Hilda: imperfect heroes in an imperfect fairytale world, who make bad decisions and then have to do some damage control to save their realm from the clutches of Yuga. ;)

I was thinking exactly this when watching. Having to use your wits and wisdom. This game can potentially have really amazing puzzles and combat if Nintendo pulled it off!
I've been saying that for years. Or something. Zelda is usually about magic, so making a spin-off or something that uses her strengths is a lot better concept than having her as a stand-in for Link.

They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. @@moraluart Yeah, just noticed. It's the amount of triangles in the fairy that you spend. Presumably they auto-recover once the cloned thing is gone (possibly after a while it disappears).
