It always made sense to have a Wii Luigi's Manson, so it's not surprising. Wii U unfortunately suffered many obstacles which effected adoption and killed a lot of games I'm sure
I feel like a lot of Switch games were intended for the Wii U. Breath of the Wild was developed for the Wii U and because it released at the end of the Wii U’s short lifetime, they ported it to the Switch.
This game looks great.

@@MasterMandLoserL it wasn't bad, but being developed with the 3ds and portability in mind really hurt it. The original mystery of the mansion, the joy of exploring it, and opening new areas is all thrown out the window with the mission based design.

I feel that there are gonna be more kind of ghost like the ones from 2. I would like to see the ones from 1 too but for me this is ok
That was my favorite part of Luigi’s mansion. My only complaint with this new one is it doesn’t feel spooky enough. The first game had a really good atmosphere surrounding it... this newest one has a bit of that, but it’s really cartoony. Still looks really fun though.

Yeah, there was way more lore and such, and I still would want to see a beta resurface from Nintendo, and have them bust some myths. Supposedly you were suppose to go into a cave and into boo woods! That would have set it over the edge there is still an invisible cave in the game by the well

Yeah I think in retrospect Nintendo realised luigis mansion one was too dark and Luigis Mansion 2 wasn't "serious" enough so they created this hybrid
I enjoyed Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon when I was young! And I will tell my parents to buy me this game once it releases!!

I rather not compromised on Luigis Mansion designs and atmosphere, and its very obvious the ghost designs are still silly and the rooms are all bright and lit, but they brought back the portraight ghosts and they keep innovating on the basic gameplay so I just have to hope they return to true form eventually.

@@thewatermelonlion2952 We don't know really, from the Tree House gameplay, one of the floor only had about 8 rooms and that's it (The hollywood floor)

Granted. There are 20 different ghosts in the game, but they're all just different colored variants of the base ghost.
"More ghost varieties"? The fact that the ghosts we've seen in this gameplay have more of a personality and specific character traits already has me sold.

Luigi Mansion had you collecting keys which literally led to the room you needed to go so I don't see what's so wrong with this system
@@antimatter3084 it did but you were never interrupted when playing the game, except when you beat the portrait ghost boss.
Antimatter30 you could also, most of the time, use any key on any door. The game was carefully designed to make sure that a player could access any room first and still progress through the rest of the game
This is going to be fun! Talk about a massive improvement since the dark moon arc!

Just when you think Nintendo can't possibly innovate or come up with new and clever ideas you see Luigi battling a giant Godzilla type monster on a movie set and the whole thing looks fun and cool! Can't wait to buy this.
This game is what I wanted in every way. The graphics are amazing and Luigi is so expressive. Plus it’s got all the charm and personality of Dark Moon.
Nintendo, this is probably gonna be my favorite game for the Switch. I've been a fan of Luigi's Mansion since i got my 3DS. When the original was released for the 3DS, I was relieved to play it, cause the original was so good. Now that the 3D is coming and I'm getting the Swirch, Ima get this game first. Graphics, Gameplay, Story Line is great. Luigi's Mansion is my favorite Nintendo Series. Good Job

I know this is a joke but to be fair Luigi knew what would happen if he jumped into the painting so he wasn't scared, but the tv on the other hand was something completely new to him so he didn't know what would happen to himself, plus he found it in a haunted hotel
I'm finally gonna buy a Switch for this new Luigi's Mansion game.
Oh man i was hoping that E3 would make me love LM3 and boy i wasn't disappointed. I grew up playing the first LM game so i missed the portrait ghosts and more elements in the second but this makes me want to buy the game, it looks like the developers listened to a lot of feedback from players. Thanks Nintendo and Next Level Games!

The reason I liked the first Luigi’s Mansion was primarily for the creepy and lonely atmosphere with sense of progression in a singular world. This feels like an arcade experience with a creepy vibe which is NOTHING like the first one
I also really like the first game's atmosphere but I kinda like them moving on and trying new ideas.

Luigi's Mansion on GameCube was probably one of my favorites on the console. Never picked up LM2 but i'm super hyped for this! Looks like they added new mechanics but still kept true to the gameplay of the original
You got to pick up luigis mansion 2, it's soo good. It was my 3ds game of the year 2013.
I love the idea of Luigi going through a hotel and each floors a different theme, brilliant. The graphics look great and it feels more alive. The characters, expressions etc I want this game now it looks like a blast to play.
Wish the rooms were pitch black to start like the room lights but have any other lights on and then they come on after you clear the room but honestly I’m ok with there decision because you can appreciate the designs and details more with the lights on. This game really does seem like a perfect blend of LM1 and LM2. Well done 👍

Looks like an _interactive paradise._ Games are missing that connection with players and feel lifeless these days. Devs should take note. Gaming is not only about the rinse repeat pew pews and should have lots of interactive aspects within the game world.

I'm in love with this game now, I can not wait. That trailer in the E3 direct didn't do it justice, the game looks so creativity.
I kinda miss the creepiness and mystery of the ghosts from the first luigi's mansion game. Although it wasn't really scary, it was still interesting to see those themes in a game with luigi, and it just made for a cool setting. I think this game looks great anyways, though! It may not be going in that direction, but it looks like there's some cute stuff in here, so I think it could definitely be good. Hopefully it's better than Dark Moon, because I really wasn't a fan of that one.

I really can't knock Nintendo, very interesting and original game mechanics. The TV thing was awesome and very in theme
The game looks awesome, but I'm really hoping they darken it up a bit before release. The rooms are just too well lit to convey that spooky atmosphere of the original.
They will probably have some dark areas here amd there, the game looks good as is.
There's brightness settings for the game so you can make it darker if you want to. Just watch Gamexplain's video on it at 6:38, you can see the options menu.
