Savannah Spurlock went out for a night of fun and partying, but never made it home. After a few worried months, Savannah's body was found at David Spark's father's home and David was subsequently arrested. Savannah explores the night that Savannah Spurlock went missing and how video surveillance and a huge tip from David's father ultimately helped close the case.

I’m not putting blame on her two friends that went out with her but they both should have never left her at a bar intoxicated by herself. I once got into a fight with my best friend at a bar but I still stayed because I knew If I left she would have been without a ride. NEVER leave friends by themselves and if you do end up by yourself you need to call someone you know to come get you

The only reason why I didn’t mention Uber is that it can sometimes be sketchy too ie: getting in the wrong car and you sometimes hear horror stories about Uber drivers (not saying their not all safe) I personally don’t like taking Uber just because as a kid it was drilled into my head to never get in a car with a stranger lol I say it’s always better to be safe than sorry!!

Linds M4 I broke off a 15+ friendship over this, my friend got mad at me for not wanting to go to the strip club after the club and she left me outside the club at 3 am in 5 degree weather, I had so many strangers(men) offer me rides, cat call me, and even try to grab my arm while I was waiting for my uber. Scariest night of my life. I didn’t even feel safe in my uber bc I had been drinking and I accidentally got an uber share . So it was me and 3 other intoxicated men in one uber. I nearly cried and thank God when I got home. And my friend never even texted me to ask if I made it home safe. That’s when I ended that friendship. Never never no mater how upset leave your friend stranded at late hours, especially if they have been drinking.

I was drugged after my friends left. I was also with 2 “friends”. Those guys were always with us, including me alone, for well over a year, constantly. It was the bartender and DJ. I had no way to know the bartender himself was drugging me. It was a brutal assault and rape. I have scars that make me be reminded daily of what happened, and I have vicious ptsd. I don’t blame my friends, even though they sucked, but they’re no more to blame than I am. Sick sadists masquerade as friends more often than you’d think. I’d have been better off to go with strangers.

@@MissyRichmond that is so disgusting! And it's more common than you think. A friend of mine (male) was accidentally drugged by the bartender! He was trying to get a girl and they swapped drinks and he said that's literally all he remembered. The next day he said he was so groggy that he went to the doctor. They did toxicology and he had high doses of date rape in his system. Mind you, he's a BIG guy. Like 6 4 over 220 and it knocked him out...he actually pursued charges but they couldn't prove it was the guy he thinks it was...the club settled with him for money. Crazy stuff. Did anything ever happen to the people that did that to you?? I'm so sorry to hear that!

it makes me sad knowing not every girl follows girl code in that no one should ever be left behind regardless of any situation. We never know who’s out there with ill intentions. To the people saying she was irresponsible for going out, I have a friend who had her baby at 20 and still goes out but is still responsible enough to take care of her baby (she’s now 23). I don’t think anybody can judge any young mom unless they go through it themselves. It’s perfectly okay for them go out out once in a while, there just needs to be a balance. In no way, shape, or form does that mean she should have been killed. Going out doesn’t make her irresponsible and we have no right to judge someone’s life and actions especially if we don’t know her. Praying for her babies and family and hoping they find justice for her soon 💗

I have watched several of your videos. This one made me subscribe, and made me want to comment. The fact that you don't look down at a script , and you make eye contact with the camera,is not something I usually see. You aren't biased with the cases you research and share with us. You are easy to listen to and informative when it comes to the cases you cover Much respect to you for that . This story in particular made me so sad. Friends should always take care of eachother no matter what, but most definitely when put in different situations out in public. I am glad you vocalised that, without blaming. The fact that you are against victim blaming. Again respect to you for that. My heart goes out to Savannah's family. Especially her children. Even though this is a horrific, heart wrenching situation. I am grateful to have heard her story. You told it well . Very glad your channel popped up in my suggestions.

this case has ALWAYS been off and just kinda weird for me. how was she never seen on the land when they previously searched. why did it take so long for anyone to “smell” the odor? why are there SO many girls missing from this area. why did locals always say there was something off about Sparks, in sense of the other missing girls? the trash bags she was found wrapped in were sticking out of the ground. something is off, and I hope this family gets justice.

When this news came up, it was extremely scary because this happened down the street from me, and a lot of my friends knew her and are from Richmond and Garrard Co. I cannot tell you how many times she was brought up in conversation and how many prayers people prayed hoping they would find her. When this happened, Richmond became very scary because shortly after, there were multiple young girls who missing and were killed in Richmond. She was young and just wanted to go out with friends and get away for a bit. There is NOTHING wrong with that. You are exactly right, she was a mother, daughter, sister, and everything else. No that’s not how life works. In this case this woman shouldn’t have been killed! But we need to be held accountable for our poor decisions! And we don’t live in a good world, murder exists evil people like the murders are out there waiting to prey on the vulnerable. There’s cause and effect if you make a very bad decision, you get a very bad result.

i think that the police didn't release the name of the other two guys because
maybe they didn't do anything to her, so they only released the name of the one that actually hurt her and killed her :/ either way it's an heartbreaking story, my prayers go to her family and thank you for sharing this case with us ❤

This makes me realize how lucky I am. I was so dumb back then. I remember I was at a club and I was extremely intoxicated, and I left the club with three men that I didn’t know, and well I think you know what happened next. But I could have been killed

Me, too 🤦🏻‍♀ back in my partying days, I used to be so foolish, act so dangerously. I'm so so so lucky & blessed that I pretty much walked away unscathed from those times.

thank you for covering this case. she’s my counselor’s relative, and it was really upsetting to hear what happened to her. when we first discussed the case, her body wasn’t found, and it was heartbreaking to hear the news. my only hope is that this sick man, and the other two men both get what’s coming to them. i hope that she gets justice soon for everyone involved
