Tony Pergatelli is a low level bureaucrat in Purgatory - a claims adjustor for Death. Day in and day out, Tony reviews the files of the newly dead and decides singlehandedly whether they’re approved or denied to get into Heaven. He’s unqualified, unsure of himself and unbelievably burdened by the weight of his choices. It’s just one thing after another!
After the Purgatory lights shut off, computers shut down, and pens all stop working, Tony must use his cunning wit to figure out which of three executed clones sent from the future is a murderer destined for Hell.

Merciless _4095 Death started to send everyone to heaven or hell, then when more people started dying, he hired people to work in Purgatory, they used chicken bones, then they used papers and files when they were invented, then went to computers.
So Death tells Tony to figure it out since people were dying long before computers were invented, but also souls from the future can arrive because time has no meaning there.

I kinda figured this one out early on. One said that one of them always tells the truth, and one said that one of them always lies, then there's the whole the other agrees with the other two. This in and of itself is a paradox. Just for the simple fact that the liar would never admit to being a liar or that there is a liar there. Nor would the liar admit to there being someone that tells the truth in that group. This in and of itself makes all of them liars. It's a paradox, it's meant to trip you up and distract you.

In most courts you can't be compeled the testify against yourself. I don't know the rules for clones in purgatory but it would fit within creative license. Most of the comedy came from the fact that there wasn't a quick and easy solution... At least not for Tony.
The comedy is, all of them were murderers ("My name is Garf and I was mudered bo all of 3 my clones")
Also, the other 2 would have done it since they have the same DNA

If one did tell the truth, and the other one lied, they would give opposing counsel. like "One of us always lies." "The other one also lies." BOOM number 2 is liar. But if they agree? Both are lying.
