I don’t know anyone that works harder than Johnathan; rain, sleet, snow and heat doesn’t slow him down. Very nice work. My dad always built things more robust than needed but the things he built lasted.
Excellent video Johnathan W :) also glad see back make updates on International roll back tow truck and doing well also like how working out repairs too! Well Done too!
All that work you have put in on that rig is going to payoff in a very dependable truck. Stay Safe and the best to your family. Give Nana a pet on the back for me.
Miss your videos love the work you do in making your trucks with the idea that you and your ideas work better then what you can buy and simpler and thank you for you can do and know God bless.
I'm seeing a lot of positive progress right here (measuring twice, cut once - that kinda thing) hopefully the weather will cooperate better with forthcoming plans...Good Video Jonathan - l watch everyone 👍
Just recently found your channel, Jonathan. Love the videos. Planning a similar build with my 4700. I’ve always done the same thing…buy cheap old used rusted crap and build it better. A lot of time and work but it’s always worth it. Keep it up!
She's coming along nicely Jonathan! I love seeing your solutions to "issues" that to you are "not an issue". You have such an awesome talent for fabrication. Thanks for sharing! (Also...happy Birthday to the misses!)
Jonathan: From an old construction and automotive mechanical nut, it's actually "refreshing" to see how you build things. Simply put, I would say it's reminiscent of how most things were built when companies had a person's name attached and/or were owned by an "individual" instead of "shareholders". As you have shown with the steam hardware, things were built to provide a reliable service for a very long tie as well as being able to be properly serviced and repaired. The difference can be seen in the "before" you have shown in this video. "Temporary" would be the only accurate quality and durability rating for this product, with little to no knowledge/logic applied from a "user" background, while the company/corporation achieves maximum profit for the shareholders !!! KUDOS to you Jonathan !!! Enjoy the result when you are done !!
👍👌👏 Extremely well done again and as always, Sir! I also love to overbuild things. Almost everything should last a looong time (with good maintenance of course). Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people.
It's way better to over-build it and never worry about how strong it is than to go cheap and always wonder if it can handle the load you're putting on it. It's looking great.
Jonathon, a new cheap yet old school way to get rid of rust and other debris is old yet new because it is affordable to us poor people. Lazer! Women took hair off of their legs with it yet for to use on anything else was tons of money. Guy named Brent from halfass kustoms used it on taking junk on his burn shop tools. Something to look into as its so fast and easy. Beware of the fumes tho
I think there's a company in Sidney Australia may have the mud flaps with the emblem up the right way, lol. I can't imagine trying to control a vehicle behind you if you'd taken the offer...I'd be calling you for rescue @cuse I'd loose control with laughing so much. I reckon you'll be able to pull a tank onto that truck when it's done
With the cost of new steel it's getting hard to keep building stuff, especially since the quality just isn't there. As soon as I start welding it becomes apparent, it's so nice to have the surplus center and HGR to keep the cost down, or a lot of projects would be out of reach. Hydraulic hoses have gone up so much, plus hydraulic oil, it cost so much to blow a line any more I wonder if Northern hydraulic supply hoses are good quality any more. I'm putting a one ton rollback together and wonder if the Clark 285V trans is a worth while swap in a SBC gas truck can't find a VO for O.D. but with the cost of fuel I think that I could use a taller gear and make it more efficient. Nice to hear from you and to see things coming along.
I'm glad to see you back in the groove, Mr Jonathan. Haven't been watching for a while, steam is not my cup of tea, but now you're back at and I love watching you work. A question, how much weight do you add to the truck and does it limit what you load on to it? Take care, Mr Jonathan. 😊
Jonathan is not messing around with this, so of course he's not going to accept screwed up mudflaps. It's going to be right, or not at all. It is a shame that more parts are coming from somewhere else, and the lack of quality shows on them.
To get gallons in a tank multiply the three dimensions. say 20 in.x 20in x 20 in= 8000 divide by 231 =34.6 gallons -there are 231 cubic inches in a gallon
He's alive 👍 ..I was starting to go through anxiety 😂😂
Same
Yeah, I actually had to start praying for a video. I was having crazy thoughts. I’m good now.
You really amaze me with all the things you build !! Keep on,keeping on Jonathan !!! 👍👍

Like what you always say, "when in doubt, build it stout". Outstanding engineering.
No doubt anything jon fixes and fabricates will stand the test of time. Good job jon!
You disappeared for a while, but I see you've been super busy. Very nice work, it looks really strong and well built!
He's a busy. man
Glad he shares all the work that he does I look forward to seeing his videos
Finally, Jonathan is back . Has been a while , good video 👍
Nice! Those mud flaps are very cool and will make the truck stand out.
Never idle...your builds dont miss much...and your rigs are tuff enuff..
Carry on...

Almost ready for work. You are rebuilding it way better than a new one.

Great video. You are the best fabricator on YT. 👍
She's coming along nicely Jonathan! I love seeing your solutions to "issues" that to you are "not an issue". You have such an awesome talent for fabrication. Thanks for sharing! (Also...happy Birthday to the misses!)
Good morning my friend. I enjoy your videos very much. This is Ed Miller from Greenville SC.
It's tough when the weather is working against you. The truck is really looking good, maybe the weather will start easing up.
Great video !
Looking good johnathan as they say if your going to make it make it strong be safe see you soon 💪✌
Super job Jonathan!!!!!!
Pure quality sir. Tip top.
Jonathan looking great and I just to say thank you very much for your time and effort making these videos.
Wow Jon, It's really coming along well. Thanks for the walkaround. All the best, Mart in England.
Always good to see a JW video, fascinating as always buddy
It's coming along very nicely. Going to be a heavy duty well made unit. Thank Jonathan for the update.👍🇺🇸
Really hate that just about everything is made in China. 😢 love finding good old parts that were made in U.S.A. ✌️👍😎❤️🇺🇸
Great Job as usual! Glad to see another video!
Appreciate the video. Thanks from Columbus Wisconsin!
Nothing too strong ever broke and that isn't going to break. excellent job.
You have been busy, that is a lot of fabricating and fitting.

Glad to see ya upright and breathing ❤️😎🦦

Thanks for the update Jonathan.
Looking good. Y'all take care.
Wow. Looks. Great. Very. Strong
I also was becoming concerned, because it's been a while since the last video. Glad you're back.
Well I thot u were still hibernating! I guess all the welding would keep u warm👍
Johnathan Winan the most interesting guy on CZcams .
Hopefully the weather will get better for us in a few weeks!!!

I'd put a heat shield above the muffler to protect the hydraulic tank.
Nice picture quality! Is that a new camera? Great video on the new rollback! 👍
Man you are so creative simply amazing.
Dang it man I was just about to get in the car 😅❤FINS UP ❤😅
Looks plenty stout to me! Should serve you well, for a long time. Keep Goin",,,,,DUBS,,,,,
Looking good 👍
Nice to hear from you! NO "NANA" cat inspecting the work bummed me out... Take care JW
Yep, I follow the same rule, overbuild it! Why not?
Can't wait to see how it all comes out!
👍
Healthy by stout is a GOOD thing.
Consider flipping the mud flap so the printing faces the tire, still a mud flap. I suspect you want the lettering.
Jonathan...please keep up all the Hard Work and Great Video Content. walt+mrs.
It's a Jonathan sighting!

Can't wait to see a steam engine on the back and a smile on your face.

Your head should be the size of a house, to hold all the knowledge you have. 😊😊 YOU ARE A MASTER AT WHAT YOU DO.😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Jonathan can fabricate anything!

i know uve been busy jonathan but missing the steam engine videos, keep on keepin on 👍
length x width x height in inches divided by 233 = gallons
👍🏻🔪
.
You can't heat up that handle and bend it?
If you get bored you could always cast the exact PTO case you want, heh heh. With extra gussets and meat in all the right places, mmm.
I don't hear the guys at coldwar motors complaining aboot the cold.
👍
