It's crazy to see how far home mades have come with the help of 3D printing. Just look at the talonclaw, the linx and the caliburn. They have so many improvements but still focus on the same core elements.
It is kind of funny how similar to the Lynx this is though.

These are really cool. They shoot like rail guns. But I don't really understand how the darts are fed into the barrel. Would you mind explaining this?
If you search "Hopper clip guide" on my channel I go into how to make a hopper clip. They're fed with gravity.

I am so glad you made this video. I have been waiting for you to make an overview on Xellah's bullpups, because I agree that they are the best homemades around. I built one that is almost exactly the same as the clear one, but with HDPE for the pump grip. This design looks good, performs well, is compact, and overall works the best at wars in my opinion. After I adapted MIG's design to a simpler version, I knew that I had found my favorite homemade design. What Xellah did with this was make it 10 times better. I know I'm kind of rambling, but thanks for making this video. I know homemades aren't nearly as popular, but I vastly prefer them over normal blasters.
As for the people saying it is overpriced, the initial materials cost $100+. When you take buying and maintaining the advanced tools to make a homemade like this, that is even more money. Lastly, you have to take into account how long it takes to make a single one of these homemades. Xellah is barely making any money off of this and he still has to put all that time and effort into it. I'd say that this price is a bargain.
Honestly speaking I though you were joking that when you said the blasters could cause the darts to dent the drywall, until you displayed the chronograph readings.
CardSearcher911 It's the velocity, but slug darts also have a metal washer in the tip. They wouldn't dent the walls using Elite darts, but they may leave a mark or disturb the wall paint at this velocity.

Very cool! I mean a full compression k 26 spring is ridiculous! My buddies got in to a project like that and it shatterd the plounger rod, so imagine how it would feel to get hit by one of these.

Coop, you should do a mod guide for the old Nerf dart tag Furyfire. I think you could do some relay cool things with it.
I'm probably not the only one noticing it, but I unlike other homemades, this one fires back n air is directed forward. But it firing back, I'm imagining it having a slight kick back which is cool n also can prob hurt the shoulder after a while. Just thought I should point that out, but like I said I might not b the only one who noticed this.

Hasbro doesn't want to put an extremely strong spring into their Nerf guns. Kids would shoot their eyes out and Hasbro would get sued. They definitely could do that if their marketing target wasn't kids and more on the age of airsofters

good greif these things are OP! id feel bad about shooting it at a person. and firing it in doors might break something. i think these are just for shooting darts so far away that you have no chance of finding them
if there was something to act as a forgrip on the pump it would probably make it even more comfortable
You could carve finger grips or serrations into the handle, or maybe leave several lines of hot glue?

Most likely not. Going through the hassle for slightly higher FPS readings isn't worth while. You won't be able to see the difference without an outdoor range test - which I don't do anymore.

Man, these are tempting, money's not an issue for me, but I'd be worried about importing them into Australia. Also, the only nerf group near me don't do high power wars. But still, looks so cool. Quick question though, if Xellah was to register a small business and sell these blasters through it, would they still be "homemades"? I'd say no, they're professionally made and sold by a business.
Darakou Hasegawa Homemade is a term used in the Nerf community to compare to a production made blaster. If you have a problem importing because of the name, I'd be happy to write "Nerf toy" without using "homemade, lol pipe bomb, terrorist material" on the customs form - haha.
Coop772 I'm more worried about what falls under the category of firearm here. Airsoft guns are considered firearms and effectively banned since they won't grant licenses for them. This doesn't look like a real gun, so it should be OK.

I don't know if your laws have only recently changed, but I've sent two +bows and many highly modified Nerf blasters into Australia without any problems.

Blake C Even with instructions its not going to be cheap. Materials for this are going to be around $100 and then if you dont have the proper tools such as a drill press then your going to be paying thousands on this project

Colton Yee At close range, you can bruise people for sure. It's definitely not the right parts to be a real firearm - a cartridge detonating in this PVC would blow the PVC up and likely kill the operator. An orange tip wouldn't be needed since it's clear, white, and yellow.
