Legend has it, if you give your homemade gun a name, it's 10x more epic
*going dark*
I liked it so it didn't have 69 likes
Sear - 14
He really needs a part list
yeah
I just found this, and, being a total idiot, am having trouble visualizing everything. I've resorted to just pausing the video or replaying it and taking notes. At this rate, it's just easier to make a snap carbine since the video tutorials are incredibly in depth.
seems like he realy needs a 3D printer
Agreed
I dunno why i keep coming to watch this video. I already know how it's made, but i see this and i just come back. And when i come back i tend to binge aero's videos till I've watched them all. Kinda cool
looks like a nerf version of the fallout pipe gun
It does tho
Yes and thats cool
That's pretty much what it is
imagine making it a metal one
Great minds think alike
Can you do a tutorial on those hopper mags we saw in your last video?
The only thing I would change is the video needs a quick demo at the start to show total newbies, who are part of your target audience, what this blaster is capable of.
No one wants to click on another video so they have a reason to watch the one they have already clicked on.

Other than that sick build.
Make.Test.Battle ok

Anybody that's wondering where to get 1/8 steel rod just use a coat hanger wire
i actually really like the way that catches
il probs make something like this
There's that guy that said "that's not a file it's a rasp."
He says no special tools but then I see a saw and not duck tape
a saw is not a special tool.

It's good to see someone actually using their spyderco dragonfly
awesome job my friend
Could you make one of these with a breech to make it nerf mag compatible?
a dremel is state of the art?? lol
Brilliant!
Hello, I would like to know if you have the list of materials and plans to make this pistol. I will appreciate it, thank you.
Great looking design and it even seems to be doable in my town, cause pvc can be bought in inches. (We're in metric)
But I have some questions:
-what type of pvc pipe is usable for this?
-can you subtitute bushing for an pvc adapter?
-The begining of the tutorial says to glue in the 1×1/2" bushing into some pipe. Is that the body tube(5/4" pipe)
-What changes do I need to do if I want to use a different spring? (e.g. shorter or smaller diameter spring)
I gotta get some of that cutting board for stuff like this. How thick is the stuff you use, 1/4 in, 1/2 in?
Also, what size neoprene washers (for the plunger head) would I need if I wanted to size this up to 1-1/2" PVC as the plunger tube?
I wonder what pressure the bottle will stand? Also, whatever solenoid valve you use must have a high rate of open and shut otherwise there would be a lot of wasted air. Good short range power, would definitely knock a pesky pigeon off its perch!
Make a list off all matirials you used
Rad video Aero! I'm quite the noob when it comes to this stuff so this blaster would be perfect for me to make, but i have a question. I don't live in the US so i can't get k25/k26 springs and I thought I could add some crossbow-esque construction to the front. Any tips?
ProtoBoo Neither do I. R.I.P
Find cheep airsoftgun and take the springs, think they have same velosety.
If not make the presure tank smaller...
You figurer it out i think
Rambo nope, airsoft springs are way too small
Just order a k26 online

Beautifully simple with (from the sound and visuals alone) great performance. Currently working on my own Fallout inspired "pipe rifle" sears carbine, though I'm running into a little trouble with measurements and the catching mechanism. Could you use the plans for and substitute the ESTL's catch here? Great job as always Aeromech, keep up the amazing work.
thanks, and sure thing.
Blue print is the word of the week ,holy shit balls, you could use this as a "blueprint" for a drinking game.
where did you get the 3d printing files?
Your tagline should be "Embrace the Jankness".
It’s not jank, it’s an actually nice professionally built homemade
The only thing i would add to the blaster is a spring guide so the spring doesn't bend inside the blaster
Can you make the files for those who have a 3d printer public
If I can find them, yes. I made that 3D mock up months ago, it was merely a test at the time.
how much does it cost to make and what is the material list? I really feel like making this
Very nice. And it shouldn't be too hard to make a pump action for it.
Planning on making this somewhat, probably taking springs from a few nerf guns, whatever I can find, and 3d print an outside
Wonder if we could make homemade shells or nail blanks....22 shorts or even make a muzzle loader
what screws did you use I'm trying to put together a parts list
Would you be able to upload plans/measurements?
Can you make a parts list?
What are the sizes for the screws that you used? Width and length.
That spyderco dragon fly 👌👌👌
Great idea Man
Dude your skilled!
Hi from Australia! A few questions... FPS? Distance? Also, do you have a list of materials and their measurements? Great work by the way.
150-200 fps
Do you have 3d printing files?
That's a pretty impressive build, thanks
Why does the plunger have such large chunks taken out of it? Wouldn't you just need to cut a slot for the catch to grab on to? Or is it an air flow thing?
It's a physics thing. F=ma. Your spring determines your force, so that's a fixed value. So in order to improve plunger acceleration (and ultimately increase the speed of the darts) you need to reduce plunger mass.
Can you please make a pumpsnap/rainbowpump tutorial or is there an easy way to make this blaster pump action?
A
Yes
I just came.up on this. Has anyone modified it to have an open breach so you can load one dart at a time instead of taking the barrel off?
I have an old mosin nagant wood stock and think I may tackle this so it could work as a true bolt action.
Great instructions

Kid: “Mom, can I get a nerf gun?”
Mom: “No, we have a nerf gun at home.”
Nerf gun at home:
Instead of adhesive, can I use hot glue?? Not sure if that would make a difference
fleto not to mention it’s extremely messy
second part? I mean do this gun has magazine, projectiles and how strong is the Impact?
No magazine
How strong is the impact? Dude its a nerf gun
@@loneslayer1336 All right, I asked, because I made a spring gun with a shotgun design with mag and it's quite strong, so that's why I asked.
I still haven't uploaded the video I have to buy a tripod
It's a homemade... you can add a wye, inline, or RSCB hopper to it if you want, or a breech, or leave it muzzle-loaded single shot.
Also, being a homemade with a K25, it's going to be hitting a minimum of 170-200FPS - so easily double & a half the power of a stock Elite blaster. Projectiles are whatever you want, literally - you could fire half-length Elite darts, make your own Stefans, rockets, Mega darts...
@@loneslayer1336 it's also a homemade using a strong spring, you can easily hit 200FPS or more. This is the Nerf gun that will give you a welt.
Kinda skipped over that whole buffer spring part
One of the hardest things for me to find is the cannon with the same width as a nerf projectile.
Can you put a list of materials in the description?
no soot video?
I would love to see a fireing demo
never thought of a cutting board as materiel before.
Can i get a full list of the stuff i need to make this? including tools?
Guck
Has anyone ever tried painting PVC pipes
Anthony Koeshall he could do that or use sand paper on the outside of the pvc pipe then paint it let it dry then use modge podge it keep paint on there and have it be weather resistant
How long is the wooden pieces? Also how long is the receiver tube?
1) As long as necessary to shield the moving pieces and provide structure for the handle and reciever. 2) As long as needed to allow full reciprocation of the piston and nearly full spring compression.
Amazing sir
What are all the materials to make this?
Really file is an excellent piece of equipment
how much money does the project cost?
the the overall look of it reminds me of a sterling mk4
Very good and helpful video . im going to make a bolt action nerf sniper rifle for my son and this has helped a lot. Many thanks.
Does anyone have a parts list for this?
How much did this project cost to make
How long should the k25 spring be
Print out for the trigger mechanism?
Let's us see how you fire. And what type of ammo we need to fire. Please
It uses nerf darts lmao
Nossa muito interessante nunca tinha visto coisas iguais
Can you give a list of materials
This is basically the nerf equivalent of the lutty smg
can i please have material/tools list?
could all the materials be listed?
nice!!!
Instructions unclear, died from PVC pipe dust inhalation.
A Dremel would make this go 100x faster. I know he said it was the poor mans way, but jeez dude
How do you load it?
If I used the same design, but scaled up the neccesary parts, could I use a k14?
You got Nightmare album, I got 2007 album. Nice fam.
If you can handle a side primed k14 blaster, then sure
are there anywere templates for this gun?
Cevin Rothenhäusler for the time being, see my response to night fire. None available at this time
when come out a template for this pistol?
Cevin Rothenhäusler probably never. You can probably use ESLT sears. Take a look at the video and duplicate that approximate shape
when you send me all parts of this pistol not completet just in the only parts i can make one
Aeromech oke im looking
Cool👏
Where you buy the spring
I have 3D printed a Nerf gun using an AR-15 lower design LOL I will be uploading a video and tutorial to my channel soon
Sorry but how do you load the blaster
Very nice guy
How big is the spring you used?
Luca 11 inch long McMaster k25
Diy gun idea for hoods
excuse me, but could you please post the 3d files here or in the description? if you can't do that, can we have some dimensions for the catch and the trigger
Method is far more important than recipe. So long as whatever shape sear and trigger you make interface such that pushing back on the trigger drops down the ledge of the sear, the shape will work. It's why I don't often give specific measurements in my videos. If the spring you use is shorter than the one I used, or if your bushing is bigger or smaller, etc, will all throw off the measurements. If you want 3D files for a sear design, use ESLT stye sear-trigger plans, otherwise, just make something that works for you.
thanks for responding, I got my sear catch finished, you can see it on my Instagram @shadownerf223
Very Good Friend;)
Very cool
What kind of fps do you get out of that
Ragnar Simonsson it depends on darts what barrels and how long, but I can tell you that mine is getting doing pretty good
Ragnar Simonsson 7
Ragnar Simonsson
MrNormieTron 150-200 for average homemades
Is this a front loading blaster?? I'm kinda new to the homemade nerf blasted thing
It can be but almost always is not. The barrel is removed and a dart is stuffed into the rear, then the barrel is reattached ( to allow the dart to accelerate down the full length of the barrel) or a hopper storing multiple darts runs in parallel to the barrel allowing many shots before reloading. That the pipe sticking out diagonally right before the barrel in most homemade blasters, if you google around for images.
Ok thanks!
Also, just Asking, is there an alternative to the k25 spring?
Sgt. Relish I used Home Depot springs in my first snap never made a sear carbine though so I don't know if they will work for this application
Muito bom gostei.
how much will this all cost? is it better just to buy a 25 dollar strife?
At least $20, this is also way better then a stock stryfe
Me who dosent have any of these materials:Interesting
Simpler homemade stuff like this costs ~$40 in raw materials and you can make multiple, so this one shouldn't be much more expensive.
How are you so skilled it's awesome
I would pay you to make me one of those 😻
It kinda looks like a homemade open-bolt gun that someone made in a garage
No one go into school on the 20th.
I don't know if you are still active in the videos I come to ask you to launch an easier one with spring trigger and that shoots nails please long distance nail and steel balls long distance is possible
