Dude the slot drilling was absolute genius. It's a perfect example of not having the "correct" tools for the job but still doing it correctly. Also that one drill bit was huge. Massive even.

@@mattie_y hmm, i mean on the one hand if its just two ayyy shottie, on the hand of accuracy hmm... What about a lil relief valve of sorts using a pinhole where the next dart needs to stop, like the dart covers the hole when its seated in the rscb but when its pulled into the chamber it pulls that next dart but the pinhole stops the dart because suction?? Im very unsure. Maybe you could have an O-ring in there to stop the next dart? Ive seen people usually use a change of inner diameter to slightly smaller just enough to stop the next dart.

A little tip about drilling plastic: use slow drill speeds and a sharp bit. If you use a speed that's too fast or a dull bit you will melt the plastic leaving burs that are much harder to remove.

  • @yourhighschoolenglishteach8405

1:16 not sure how tight a fit it was, but you might be able to expand this hole using the bit itself.
basically, with the drill press running, hold the part and lift it onto the drill bit, such that the hole aligns with the drill bit. then, move the part up and down along the drill bit (don’t press side to side - you’re trying to evenly ream the sides of the hole, not elongate it into a slot).
in most cases (where a bit is nominally the same size as a part, but seems just barely too small), this method will expand the hole just the right amount.
